Legend in the making, best lyricist ever. His music is entertaining and educating at the same time. And the unification move of the gangsters, historical. So yeah, he is that dude 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Absolutely, he already secured top 3 before the beef even started. I have him at 2 and tbh if his next album is another perfect album like MMTBS, TPAB, Damn., GKMC then I'd easily put him as the goat without batting an eye.
He’s so dope and strategic. I want to know if the all minor keys used in both songs was him trolling and the red hoodie the blue jeans and white tea underneath just like drake.. this dude a beast or am tripping ?
I think that's a great argument. BUT when you talk goats in hiphop that list can get a bit crazy. We talking Jay, Nas, Big, Pac, Wayne, Em, X, Rakim, LL, etc. It's really hard to put Kdot over them. I still feel like it's still a bit early in his career BUT I don't think he's to far from being top 10
I agree Kendrick is generational and will be considered the goat but he still needs to do some things that are in but also outside his control. A great comparison is him and Nas they're very similar and Nas is considered the best ever. The things Kendrick has to do though is be more influential which he is influential but not like Nas or Kanye or LL Cool J levels of influential which is completely necessary but it will help settle the debate and its also not entirely in his control. The other things he needs to do are sorta simple. He needs to keep pushing boundaries and release i think at least 2 more albums that are at minimum as good or better than DAMN which is his worst project which DAMN is still incredible. If he can keep pushing himself as an artist, release some more projects and inspire more rappers fo imitate him he will undeniable be the goat. If Nas is the goat then Kendrick will be able to become better than Nas since theyre already very similar and on similar levels
Absolutely agree that he needs to drop more but 1 song and moment is a crazy thing to say about the 17x grammy winner and pultizer prize winner. I know Grammys don't mean all that much but the ones he's been awarded were fair and it wasn't as dumb or controversial as say Em losinh out to fking will smith lol. Tpab, damn, gkmc are phenomonal albums deserving of praise, I still agree he def needs to drop more music though but he's had more than just a moment or 2, his whole career is a very decorated one
No one calls 50 cent for killing ja rules career . And truth be told kdot anit got the pull to kill drakes career. He jus the only rapper that's main stream with conscious rap . And like Cole said if he wasn't dissing then we wouldn't be discussing him so I think not .
Nas didn’t kill Jay’s career either but he gets credit for winning the war. 50 killing ja rule was big at the time, mostly because of murda in a commercial success, but Ja rule wasn’t ever considered an all time great.
Bro even cole took that back, anytime Kendrick drops he blows up the charts and media, he's all people every talk about when he drops "But I live on circadian rythmns of a shooting star"
Kendrick is good but top 5 of all time is a joke. This generation has so many bad rappers that Kendrick is wiping the floor with them. But I'll give you 10 lyricist and tell me who Kendrick is better than. Nas Jay Z Andre 3000 Biggie Pac Prodigy Emenim Lil Wayne Rakim Ice Cube
It's crazy how easily persuaded everybody is😂😂 3 months ago you weren't thinking about Kendrick Lamar like this but because of three songs everybody's talking about he's the goat LOL I think it's kind of corny to go at Drake for having people write his songs and then bring out Dr Dre to perform a song written by Eminem and who has never written his own song😂
Kendrick Lamar is able to pop up every 4 years because people think of him like this. He comes out without any antics or riding the wave of the newest artist or sound, delivers good/long lasting work, and goes back into civilian mode.
When provided with new information you should reevaluate your perspectives. Even if you weren’t aware that Kendrick checked all the boxes before, he just did something that should make you ask the question. Now you don’t have to agree that he’s the goat that’s just my opinion. But this is definitely the time to have that conversation.
I was with you until you brought up Dre. Dre never wanted to rap. Like, ever. Therefore, Dre doesn’t claim to be the best on the mic. He’s a producer, and one of the best ever. Drake does claim the top spot and so does his fans. Drake is still lying about not having a ghost writer team, although we’ve heard the reference tracks. Come on bro! That energy is totally different.
@CabageBeans other than good kid Maad City and damn he always creates a buzz by dissing people. He took 50 cents approach to hyping up an album LOL have you heard the leaked audio of him dissing a bunch of different people like Big Sean?
@@MrKingPhactheavily disagree, but it’s not like you’re wrong or anything, people just look for different things in music and value it differently more than others. In the case of MMATBS, it’s a great conceptual album that talks about trauma, struggles and issues, etc etc. Now do i personally revisit the album as much as his others? Nah but as a piece of art I can recognise objectively it’s pretty good
Even if you believe that I think GKMC, TPAB and Damn have already secured his spot at the top. You wouldn't say Kanye is not near the top just because vultures II wasn't good. Also MMATBS was his deepest, most personal album yet and I 100% have found replayability in alot of the songs, I really really enjoyed that album
Facts and I know it sounds cliche but after listening to section 80 in 2011 I deemed him as the best rapper of my generation. I had put him 1st Cole 2nd and Drake 3rd (at the time of listening to section 80)
Real ppl who know music and good artist knows he is one of the greatest rappers to do it that conversation ended in 2014
Bruh, he went crazy on that stage and without even drinking any water.
He’s MY GOAT for sure. I’ve been saying that, but people don’t seem to wanna give him the credit at this moment.
He’s been that. Ever since TPAB. DAMN solidified it when he got the Pulitzer. But if you listened to TPAB when it dropped you already knew ✊🏼
Legend in the making, best lyricist ever.
His music is entertaining and educating at the same time.

Facts bro... even before this beef Kendrick been that dude.
I’m calling him the Goat
Kendrick is the goat all day long
Yesssss i was there too!! The breath control was crazy sick
Without a doubt
He does, yes every box check off.
Checks off every box
1000% AGREE WITH YOU. KENNY IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🇯🇲🇨🇦
He’s the Terence Crawford of Rap
He’s so dope and strategic. I want to know if the all minor keys used in both songs was him trolling and the red hoodie the blue jeans and white tea underneath just like drake.. this dude a beast or am tripping ?
He definitely is
All hail King Kilmonger
❤😂❤❤❤❤😊

I never purchased a Kendrick or Drake album
He need to have more Music!! One song n moment don’t make u the greatest!!
And whoever disagrees that’s your opinion but he is a great tho

He would have to beat Lil Wayne versus to be the greatest rapper of all time because Lil Wayne is the greatest rapper of all time
😂😂😂
It gose 2pac then Kendrick

Nas
Jay Z
Andre 3000
Biggie
Pac
Prodigy
Emenim
Lil Wayne
Rakim
Ice Cube
Maybe all of them, maybe none but he’s in that conversation of one of the best all time for sure, at the end of the day it’s subjective
Look I'm ngl gang I think he legit wipes this whole list except for maybe Nas.

Personally, I put Kendrick there after good kid maad city but yeah.. I can see the point of people being easily persuaded

Kendrick hasn't delivered. His last album wasn't any good
Yes it was why do you think it's not good what's wrong with the album
Replayability is irrelevant if that's what you're implying
@@infiniteduckglitch Replayability is everything when it comes to good music.

that song is trash
He's been up there for while he just solidified it now
I have never seen anything like it in my life. Waves of goosebumps, full body.
Crazy. He is KING KENDRICK

Id still leave that top 2 in place
And Kendrick knows Lil Wayne is the greatest rapper of all time
Probably a bigger discography (in terms of quantity) like jay z
He definitely checks every box
Def Top 5, no question. That top 5, purely a matter of preference. But no way can you leave him outside top 5
Ion fw Kendrick like that but accept Tht he’s up there but he making new boxes atp
Definitely 😂😂😂😂
Nas
He was already on that list before this for me....
But this should solidify it for the naysayers imo💯
100!!!!
He's been in my top 3 since 2016. This is nothing new to me
Absolutely. This beef doesn't happen he still is
Drop the whole Drake diss catalog
No doubt
Prisoner of the moment
Lol 😤💀
No he is boring
No he doesn’t
What we missing ? 👀
