Judge Middleton will just call up anyone while court is in session…even your grandmother! Man, he’s the best!😂
I love how eveeybody in court hasnt worked for years, but they all are getting a job tomorrow!
And don't forget about the elderly parent that relies on them for the very specialized care they provide!! They only need just ONE chance!!
Don’t forget their uncle just passed and the funeral is tomorrow after the job interview, once the elderly parents are cared for 🤣
@@shammyshammy407and they are trying to see their kids
And the kids bday the next day 🤣🤣🤣
Lol isn't that weird. Or how they "were just getting rehab set up". 😊
They ALWAYS have a job interview the next day. Always.
Right according to court RUclips we shouldn’t have a worker shortage because they are always going to get that job tomm. The drug users are always schedule to start rehab tomm. These perps got some big dreams for tomorrow!
What a coincidence, he hasn't had a job in 5 years, blames it on Covid.
Judge Middleton has gotten more appropriately stern. Good on him.
"I'm not even supposed to be here man!" If only that worked...
Sposed to be in a clinic for a few decades
He watched "Clerks"
Don't forget he has video proof
@irishcurse65 such a good movie! I hope everyone has watched it
I don't think the first dude even realises he's in jail😂😂
Our judges really get testy when they hear "I am supposed to start a job tomorrow, or I have a job interview tomorrow. Everyone in the court knows that they are lying.
That first one didn't deserve any help. She continues to steal and commit crimes. The donor should ask for a refund.
Such is life unfortunately. Nice people do nice things and people throw it back at your face. I've been on both sides
@@kieronparr3403 Yes.
Nice gesture but this actually wasn't a good idea since he now falls in enabler status. I'm hoping he knows that by now.
That guy who paid her fines should help people who can’t afford to eat instead of paying fines for criminals who steal over and over and doesn’t even appreciate it. She should be in jail.
That was so sweet, for a complete stranger to help people who are clearly struggling, and without wanting any sort of recognition. One never knows where that one act of kindness and generosity is the very thing a person needs to get their lives together. Sadly, in this case it looked like this person isnt quite on the straight and narrow - yet.
I ain't even supposed to be heeeeere maaaaaaaaaaayne!
Judge Middleton shouldn't be too incensed over this repeat offender shoplifter. As long as these people are given minimal punishment, if any this will continue. The courts need to look in the mirror to see who is responsible for a portion of these repeat offenders.
I agree, I was thinking the same thing. it's disgusting. 😖
Oh, another armchair RUclips expert. Nice.
He has expressed his reasoning a few times.
Some people spew this nonsense that non violent offenders shouldn't be in prison. So someone who continually breaks the law shouldn't be in prison simply because their offenses "aren't violent"? Bullshit.
It's almost like this shoplifter, after repeatedly stealing, is asking to be put in jail. The only thing that kept her out this time was she had a job.
Dude must be messed up cause he left the house wearing his sister’s shirt
Anyone else surprised that they allow fines to be paid by the person who wasn’t fined? Arguably it somewhat defeats the whole purpose.
Yeah. That’s super bizarre that it’s allowed.
Depends. Sometimes that one assistance really is enough to help kick someone out of their slump. It's their money so if they want to give someone a chance, they shoukd be allowed to and more power to them! And because he did this for her and she turned around and kept on with her nonsense revealed to the judge who she really is. So in reality, this stranger helped in more ways than one.
As much as I like Judge Middleton, he was WAY too merciful on the repeat offender. While I appreciate his compassion, a judge's job is to make sure that such crimes do not happen again. Giving them adequate punishments is the way to go. If this guy was repentant, then yeah, showing leniency on him would make sense, but, he hasn't shown any signs of that. No genuine apology. No accountability. No taking responsibility. Nothing. Judge Middleton needs to do better than this.
I agree. It’s really funny though, because the very next comment below yours said “Judge Middleton has gotten more appropriately stern. Good on him.”
It’s crazy how people can see things so differently!
I can’t pay my fines because I haven’t sold the first stolen stuff yet
Noone should be paying someone elses consequences. Your not helping.
Don't worry. He can fix her.
Or maybe, as Mike always says, make it worse.
Well, they probably know the words 'no one' and 'you're'.
@@virginiaorganbuilder oh snap🤣
What's that about MY not helping?
Exactly what I was gonna say. Enabling only makes them worse.
Prosecutor says ‘it’s very concerning’ (that he strangled the victim) yet they dropped that charge because ‘the victim didn’t lose consciousness.’ She’s got to be joking. Honestly a lot of prosecutors offer far far less than even the defence attorneys ask for. It’s ridiculous.
Some are too soft because they don't want to look bad. Judge M is pretty fair usually
I don't know what Michigan law is but any choking/obstruction of breathing in NY is a an automatic felony. I've personally never seen a prosecutor drop these charges. I did have a cop refuse to arrest a father because the brusing/scratching and welts he left on his his child's neck weren't quite in the middle of his throat so he didn't think he should change him with a crime.
I. Was. Livid.
Case #2 needs to be locked up for a while to get the point across!!!!!
Paying the fines of criminals doesnt work. They usually dont learn there lesson.
What about here lesson instead of there?
@@richardvoogd705 LOL!
@@richardvoogd705 Where is the lesson? Over there.
This judge is very nice.
Too nice.
Judge Middleton is an absolute legend! 👏👏👏✌️
"I just need ONE more chance"
"sir, your list of charges is longer than all the Harry Potter novels..."
Sounds like she needs to be banned from all Meyer stores.
Meijer* XD XD
Such a sympathetic judge, but at some point if shoplifters aren't given REAL consequences that give them pause to not shoplift again, this epidemic going on in America will not slow down and will NEVER stop. They've got to start spending some real time in jail or the word won't spread in the criminal community to stop stealing.
💯percent correct
Agree, she's the percentage of people who steal anytime they think they can get away with it. It's only a matter of time before she figures out how to steal things from her new job and gets fires. Let her do the time.
😂 you really think thieves are going to police themselves because consequences are suddenly stiffer? 😂😂😂
What they do is simply figure out new and different ways to steal.
That is a double edged sword - as they will get used to the system and continue to repeat. Soon they are more comfortable in court and in jail than they are among the populace. They have free room and board, free food, healthcare, no need for a job -- they get most of everything needed to live with no dime to spend on it. No taxes, no bills, no mortgage, no responsibilities that cause the normal person to lose sleep at night. They are at home in jail - and that mentality is the worse kind of fate
@@TheKnitch So, what should we do then--let them continue to steal with no consequences? Shoplifting is a nationwide epidemic and some stores are closing up shop and moving out of cities because of shoplifters. Walmart loses approximately $3 billion every year due to theft and shoplifting incidents. Oh, well. I guess the rest of us will just have to pay higher prices because we wouldn't want shoplifters to face any "stiffer" consequences and have their lifestyles upended... 😂😂😂
Thanks
The bailiff is the most lazy out of shape, board, unprofessional and uninterested one I've ever seen. I want that job
Please check the definition of “board.” I think you meant bored.
You can’t have that job as you failed to spell “bored” correctly!
@@FireMunki63
And you think bailiffs are required to spell well? Lol.
Case #2- she didn’t switch tags on food, as per what the Judge thinks.😂😂
When judges tell a defendant that they have "picked up another case", they should be telling them that they have "committed another crime" instead of sugar coating it.
HoldonHoldonHoldonHoldonHoldon... What??
You forgot the “hold on MAN.” 😂
They always have an interview, kids or bday
Not only is he a Judge , he cares ..........
"Im not even supposed to be here man"
For everytime he as stolen items, there is probably two times he wasn't caught.
Oh dear Lord. I did something stupid in 1979. I went to court on a driving while suspended and as I stood in front of the judge I was twirling my Roadrunner keys on my finger. Really dumb. But it was Chicago and the 70s and luckily for me nepotism was alive and well and the judge played cards with my semi-famous Grandpa. But it was still stupid and disrespectful.
I never tire of your theme song. It makes me happy, for some reason.
Paying criminal fines only enables them.
It's all suspicious..they all are liers😮
Public prosecutors are just as guilty as the judges on being too lenient, offering pleas... No wonder crime is climbing. Start cutting deals, give maximum penalties, and crime will drop.
The trifecta of excuses: I have a new job/ interview. I have some relative who is sick /died. I have children/elderly who need me to care for them.
I hope these people learned their lesson.
This must be a very small town. I just cannot believe how people think they can talk to a judge. 😮
He is being genuinely kind to this aoman.
Habitual criminals should not be allowed to be using up oxygen on Earth.
This man Hass to be the greatest judge in this country. He is a legend.
#3, he should stay in jail!
He is out of it, just a little HIGH.
It seems like the attorney for the ppl is half asleep-she needs another cup of coffee. Jeez
A little clean time😳
2nd Case, some man paying her fines & Judge asks if she still living on "Hooker Avenue" lmao the Irony
Yes! 😂
Did judge shouldn't allow people to pay her fines because she keeps doing it and doing it and doing it and doing it just declined to find and let her pay her own finds
Judge Middleton has a job for you right in his jail. Lol
It's not his jail. He is an awful Judge, just like every other Judge in the State of Michigan.
The girl has no remorse for stealing, or anything else. No nothing happened to her either. Ridiculous. It's called accountability
Thank you Judge....
WTF is up with that right-hand cam? Edward Switcherhands…
Some random guy is paying off court fines for people? That seems awfully kind. I hope that it genuinely helps someone some day.
I have a feeling it didn't help at all in this case!
There's a lot of money wasted on stupid crimes.
most interesting thing about this video is middleton informing us theres some youtube viewer who keeps calling in to pay peoples fines and judgements lmao
5:42 thief seems like a winner
"...okay, very good...." Meaning, I don't care.
Did the Judge state her address as Hooker Avenue? Did I hear that correctly?
👌
Yes 😂
Looks like there is a Hooker Ave in Three Rivers, MI. Nice looking street.
@@brianstewart6657 👍
The last guy, are you sure he wasnt drunk?
Judge Middleton has serious God vibes.. he has the perfect temperament to be in charge of the universe.. he has my vote. Hi from England Island … ❤
I don’t agree with one commenter on a different one of his videos that said judge Middleton looks like he could have been one of our founding fathers. I can totally see it! Haha.
He's way too easy on these people. They will continue to commit crimes because they continuously are free from consequence. Want to know why crime is skyrocketing, look no further than Judges like this.
Why is he dragging this second case out GEESH
That's actually pretty cool someone paid her fine. But sadly she didn't care about upholding her end to show appreciation & stop committing more crimes.
🤷♂He said he didn't do it so you have to let him go.
Yes, these defendants always have a job interview and live with grandparents. How many of these poor folks trying to manage their remaining years on SS now get burdened by some deadbeat grandchild they have to babysit
Mr Swartz is funny
This is one of the nicest and considerate judges I have ever seen I love this dude. He wants to be a A-hole but you can tell he doesn’t have it in him to be a complete A-hole. Like making sure the guy is out by 5am for his “interview” let’s hope he didn’t lie about that and gets that job by the time he comes back to court
First guy, DEF needs detox time.. Lady in the second case sounds like she is either tired or on something
Poor Judge Middleton, he is so patient. And these people seem to not be all there.
This judge has no balls. It is Not patience, it is cowardice. All talk no action.
Too patient
It's Walter from Jeff Dunham!
That is not a very nice thing to say about Walter 😂
Middleton was one of my favorites at first but I’m so sick of him letting people off. Seems he treats the ones who’s families he knows and watches their kids grow up special. Other judges wouldn’t take this crap
The fact he has a bloody ponytail at his age shows he's just an old hippy.
If you're going to steal, don't be greedy. Just take like one can of Spaghetti-Os every six months. Or maybe 2 packs of ramen noodles. Just keep it reasonable. 😎
grandma wants her shirt back......
Mr. Scott working at a Paper Company? Did I see this on NBC before?
I have a job interview
I know you do
It’s to be an inmate at our jail😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You didn’t pay the first three fines, wonder why I should expect you to pay the fourth one? Oh let’s try just in case
8:22 put this woman in prison
Once a thief, continued thief, will always be a thief until she actually goes to prison
Send her for 3 years
Stop being soft Middleton
It must really hurt this judge to hear poor folks talk about money issues when this poor judge can’t afford a damn haircut
GPS,
5:52, 8:39, 11:27, 13:23, 22:29, 24:47This episode should be called: “Judge Middleton gets frustrated and lets out a tirade of swear word”
love his pink womens v-neck t-shirt...lol
3:18 Is Homie wearing a women’s shirt? 👀😂
7:21 a fan on youtube paid your fine. A SIMP on youtube you mean?
Hes a creepy pink troll💗
Cant shop at walmart or meijer. And i dont think kroger is out there. But there is one close enough to schoolcraft. But they are higher priced. Good luck. Aldis? Has no clothing or office supplies. And are limited. Guess he will have to order from amazon or delivery
Wow…. Mr. Schwartz MEANS it!
I think a better question Judge is what's up with that shirt he wearing?
Halleck was a horrible defense Atty. Appears not much has changed except her move to the other side.
Is he drunk?
First guy seems methed up
Imo this lady sounds impaired of something
Hooker Ave??😂
You can request to have your record expunged or white that is true whether he did it or not I don’t know, but it is true that you can
I've noticed watching court that a lot of people who run into trouble have special ed vibes.
You have only been convicted 5 times so I am going to let you go again. I don’t know what to do with you. Oh me oh my.
Meth is a helluva drug.
Thats a cute shirt storm short......🙄
