I personally dont think you actually need to break the cornerstones to access its power. Ratio or perhaps Jade stated that Aventurine's Cornerstone was severely diminished the moment he broke it to deceive Sunday. So I perceive its simply a matter of intent rather than than something like a method to access the Cornerstone's power. In my eyes what was written sounds more like personal oaths rather than an activation line. Also, I do not believe that anything containing a portion of Qlipoth's power would be so flimsy as a one time use object. If anything, like the path's namesake. They are meant to last. Aventurine likely broke it further to try to squeeze out all the power his comprimised cornerstone had in order to reach the objective. Which was for Acheron to send him into Penacony's 'Death Zone'. Which lucky or unlucky for him, he succeeded. He remained alive, is now able to travel further to find out Penacony's secrets, and is broken from Sunday's control.

Not everyone can control it after being expose. So I think hsr writers may used some of the concepts. I believe when Aeon Qlipoth use the hammer, it leave/drops some stones. That is what collected by IPC. But not all of them gain so much power regardless coming directly from the Aeon itself. So I am so disappointed with hsr. I expected devs can give more explaination about the stones (on aventurine trailer video). It is just decent one. Nothing special like Acheron. It make people think Aventurine is only sit down, drinking, and play gamble. Unlike topaz, she going out and collect debts. Maybe it used to be put together. It may not directly refers to "stone with corner". Perhaps as code name (?). Think of it like "akatsuki". 暁 (akatsuki) meaning "dawn, daybreak. There must be meaning behind it.
I do believe Trailblazer can't utilize the power from Qlipoth because he/she is just a walking host for stellaron. That can be destroy at any time. Just like a doll with walking bomb put inside of it. That is why trailblazer become 5 star character and free to get. But not as powerful as other character with the same path.

I feel like a possible origin of the cornerstones itself are fragments of Qlipoth (that Diamond explicitly asked for)? How else would they be able to tap into an Aeon's powers without explicitly being chosen. It would also explain why Preservation seems like the only one that can do this since the other Aeon's don't really have any sort of... physical form that people can just bring around without causing suspicion and Qlipoth doesn't really feel like they'd mind if their powers are being used by trusted people (hence why the cornerstones are only given to the Stonehearts, and not just any random member of the IPC.

What i am intrigued about the cornerstone is the possibility, that it might be an artefact similar to architect lance. While MC seems only use tiny amount of its power, I bet a lot of player forgot that those lance initially causing raging firestorm in Jarillo 6 entire planet when manifesting from will of preservation prior the deal with the stelaron creating eternal freeze. In turn this make me wonder if MC did unknowingly become emanator themself considering they gain the gaze of qlipoth AND inheriting the will of preservation.

So technically what Aventurine did in the boss fight was the exact thing Topaz almost unleashed in the story quest when she was cornered. That’s a scary thought.
And remember aventurine was Debuffed due to breaking the stone into pieces to trick the family with 2 falls stones so he wasn't even at full power, which if topaz did Unleash her cornerstone shed of likely been stronger especially since she's of a higher rank then them pre Sparing Jarrilo 6 and she'd be using an Undamaged Stone

I remember reading in game that a Cornerstone is made from a Stoneheart's energies, so that means it's a manifestation of their ability as a Pathstrider of Preservation. so more than likey, It functions like a Vision from Genshin than a consumable.

I also think about it. The stones may collected as the strongest and contained high power directly from the Aeon Qlipoth (when it wrack the hammer). Not all managers / workers at IPC can use the power. I think the reason why it is prohibited to break it because the stones used to be contained in a place together. It can also refers to unity. When gather together, it will gain so much power. Reminds me with Akatsuki. Perhaps hsr devs get inspired by it.
About emanators having to use their powers in a way that follows their path, I'm pretty sure the Doctors of Chaos are doing the opposite, but maybe it depends on the Aeon

Nope, they only got the gaze of the Aeon, that gaze is already the highest form of achievement in the HSR universe, Emanators on the other hand are handpicked most of the time with IX and Propagation Aeon being unique because one will have to survive the shadow of Nihility while the other create them by itself. So far getting gazed upon doesn't automatically make you strong it's just a recognition and probably make the receiver of the gaze use an item that will work solely in a path like the Lance.

becoming an emanator does not automatically make you stronger, it does increase the power ceiling. you still have to train to use the path power. not all emanators are in equal term of strength, even in the same path. also MC being weak even tho they should be strong is a recurring theme in hoyo games. MC usually shown to be weak, it is to promote the banner characters.
@@someoneinasia If Acheron was able to cut the connection of Qlipoth from the Trailblazer, they are far from an Emanator. An Emanator has direct access which means they are a moderator of that path, they can fully access the path's power but the Trailblazer is only able to utilize the Lance's powers and cannot use it if they are holding their bat. Emanators can fully utilize their power to the limit like how the Preservation Emanator is able to give Cornerstone that has his fraction of his power while Acheron hasn't even used her power to the max when she became an Emanator. Phantylia was shown to be able to utilize the destructive power of the path and if she's really present there not using her heliobus form, Jingyuan will 100% die.
I believe Eminators have their power based what they represent. They don't get new abilities just because they become one. Acheron became one because, despite all of her hardships and triumphs, it was all based on the lie that she could save her world when in reality what she did meant nothing. Both world would have been pulled into the black hole regardless of what she did, but by her blade she ended the war and detonated the black hole destroying both worlds. She is the blade that brings nihility: Naught.
Adventuring said in the quest that the architect stone is weaker than a cornerstone, but is that true or just something he believes or has no one tapped its full power
So there is just one thing I would point out with the corner stone power vs Acheron. They state in the story that breaking your corner stone diminishes the power greatly. Aventurine broke his corner stone into pieces to hide it there for what he did was with the weakened power. I'm not saying the corner stones are stronger than Acheron, I'm just say that we don't have an accurate depiction of their power yet.
Also it was a single sword slash from Acheron which could be used to calculate attack Potency but there is also no indication that it's the upper bounds of her powers or that it Exhausted her in any way so it's entirely possible she could just throw those massive slashes until an opponent dies and it's also only a ranged slash not direct contact with the sword Itself so both Acheron and aventurine are probably on a medium estimate of their full Power

I am just pointing out that Acheron vs Aventurine is a poor example of the Corner stone power because it was greatly diminished. My point isn't Aventurine is stronger, my point is that the example is flawed to use as the gauge for strength of the item. Hell when we see Diamond, or Jade or even Topaz use their corner stones that will be a better gauge as they are not damage.
The cornerstones are granted to make the user's will come true. Which means the main purpose of the cornerstone will be lost once the user's will becomes fulfilled. I feel like the stonehearts move in such a way that they need to achieve that goal. That's why it's one-time or just several times of use.
I can imagine Diamond create a barrier or shield to all allies. Just like Chrono from Garena Frer Fire. That will be epic. The same concept with gepard and aventurine, a shielder. But a greater one.

About Jing Yuan. Does it say anywhere directly that he is an enanator? Because I'm more inclined for him to be like Aventurine. He was gifted Lightning Lord, instead of a cornerstone. The game says that they have the blessing of the Hunt and that they are on par with the Lord Ravagers but up till now all the emanators have been directly mentioned to be emanators besides Jing Yuan.

Tbh, we don’t know how much each cornerstone possesses; aventurine with a weakened cornerstone was one shot by Acheron, and we don’t even know if that was a full out attack, or if it was just just used to stop as much destruction as possible. Counter-point, we also don’t know how much of Qilpoth’s power was given to diamond, and in-turn the stonehearts, it could be anywhere from 10-30% to dimond, and 1-5 for the other stonehearts, we just don’t know. What the Acheron scene shows us more than anything, is how weak the stone-hearts are compared to emenators: Even if we say that the stone breaking caused aventurine’s power to decrease by 300%, to be one-tapped by an emenator is still crazy, especially because he’s at least 1% of quilpoth’s power, so the fact that Acheron’s emenator powers arn’t limited, and she probably was holding back makes it all the more dangerous. (IX, different from the other aeons, doesn’t limit how much power THEY’RE giving to it’s emenators, meaning that Acheron can draw more power from the black hole than others like Lan or Nanook, who gives their emenators 20~% of their power, which for Nanook, has the requirements of being capable of killing galaxies. ) Along with this, IX is the strongest aeon, because it’s gaze, and influence goes over the entire universe, to the point that it even goes over other aeons, but because of the way it works, and it’s feelings, it doesn’t do anything, because it feels like life is meaningless. Hey few question(contain spoilers) : How the feck does aventurine use the cornerstone in DREAM? Everyone is fecking sleeping to enter the DREAMscape. As a matter of fact, what does he accomplished when he use the stone in a fecking DREAM. All he did was destroyed a part of the DREAMscape physically may i add. He himself have comfirmed that if you hurt yourself physically in the DREAMscape, you wake up. What his endgame here, if the stones could kill people in DREAM then why go out his way to be killed by Acheron, so he can comfirm death does not exist in DREAM? Sunday already confirm death does exist in DREAM by his Harmony spell
So he can enter the real penacony. And the only way to do it is killed by the Death entity or look for someone strong enough to kill him in the dreamscape without waking him up

Tbh, I don’t think the cornerstones need to be broken to be used. The only reason Aventurine broken his only to enter the dream space. Hell, topaz was about to use her Stone to fight against the trailblazers in Jarilo-VI. It wouldn’t make sense to waste such a powerful/valuable object for such a small planet that is qualified as “low gain, high-risk” if it was just a one time thing. Another thing is, Aventurine said that when he broken his stone, it had weaken it dramatically, so we probably didn’t even see what a full power Stone can do, not that it would’ve been enough to defeat a emanator, but it’s telling that a weaken cornerstone could still forced acheron to use her powers.

So I am so disappointed with hsr. I expected devs can give more explaination about the stones (on aventurine trailer video). It is just decent one. Nothing special like Acheron. It make people think Aventurine is only sit down, drinking, and play gamble. Unlike topaz, she going out and collect debts. Rather than explain more about what is NPA (his specialist) or about the stone, hsr devs only shows his gambling addiction. Nothing new.

I do believe Trailblazer can't utilize the power from Qlipoth because he/she is just a walking host for stellaron. That can be destroy at any time. Just like a doll with walking bomb put inside of it.

I feel like a possible origin of the cornerstones itself are fragments of Qlipoth (that Diamond explicitly asked for)? How else would they be able to tap into an Aeon's powers without explicitly being chosen. It would also explain why Preservation seems like the only one that can do this since the other Aeon's don't really have any sort of... physical form that people can just bring around without causing suspicion and Qlipoth doesn't really feel like they'd mind if their powers are being used by trusted people (hence why the cornerstones are only given to the Stonehearts, and not just any random member of the IPC.
I also theorise that each cornerstone would have to resonate with their user likely requiring a compatible will on behalf of the user.

What i am intrigued about the cornerstone is the possibility, that it might be an artefact similar to architect lance. While MC seems only use tiny amount of its power, I bet a lot of player forgot that those lance initially causing raging firestorm in Jarillo 6 entire planet when manifesting from will of preservation prior the deal with the stelaron creating eternal freeze.
In turn this make me wonder if MC did unknowingly become emanator themself considering they gain the gaze of qlipoth AND inheriting the will of preservation.

So technically what Aventurine did in the boss fight was the exact thing Topaz almost unleashed in the story quest when she was cornered. That’s a scary thought.
And remember aventurine was Debuffed due to breaking the stone into pieces to trick the family with 2 falls stones so he wasn't even at full power, which if topaz did Unleash her cornerstone shed of likely been stronger especially since she's of a higher rank then them pre Sparing Jarrilo 6 and she'd be using an Undamaged Stone

I also think about it. The stones may collected as the strongest and contained high power directly from the Aeon Qlipoth (when it wrack the hammer). Not all managers / workers at IPC can use the power.

Nope, they only got the gaze of the Aeon, that gaze is already the highest form of achievement in the HSR universe, Emanators on the other hand are handpicked most of the time with IX and Propagation Aeon being unique because one will have to survive the shadow of Nihility while the other create them by itself. So far getting gazed upon doesn't automatically make you strong it's just a recognition and probably make the receiver of the gaze use an item that will work solely in a path like the Lance.

becoming an emanator does not automatically make you stronger, it does increase the power ceiling. you still have to train to use the path power. not all emanators are in equal term of strength, even in the same path.
also MC being weak even tho they should be strong is a recurring theme in hoyo games. MC usually shown to be weak, it is to promote the banner characters.

An Emanator has direct access which means they are a moderator of that path, they can fully access the path's power but the Trailblazer is only able to utilize the Lance's powers and cannot use it if they are holding their bat. Emanators can fully utilize their power to the limit like how the Preservation Emanator is able to give Cornerstone that has his fraction of his power while Acheron hasn't even used her power to the max when she became an Emanator. Phantylia was shown to be able to utilize the destructive power of the path and if she's really present there not using her heliobus form, Jingyuan will 100% die.
I believe Eminators have their power based what they represent. They don't get new abilities just because they become one. Acheron became one because, despite all of her hardships and triumphs, it was all based on the lie that she could save her world when in reality what she did meant nothing. Both world would have been pulled into the black hole regardless of what she did, but by her blade she ended the war and detonated the black hole destroying both worlds. She is the blade that brings nihility: Naught.

So there is just one thing I would point out with the corner stone power vs Acheron. They state in the story that breaking your corner stone diminishes the power greatly. Aventurine broke his corner stone into pieces to hide it there for what he did was with the weakened power. I'm not saying the corner stones are stronger than Acheron, I'm just say that we don't have an accurate depiction of their power yet.
Also it was a single sword slash from Acheron which could be used to calculate attack Potency but there is also no indication that it's the upper bounds of her powers or that it Exhausted her in any way so it's entirely possible she could just throw those massive slashes until an opponent dies and it's also only a ranged slash not direct contact with the sword Itself so both Acheron and aventurine are probably on a medium estimate of their full Power

I am just pointing out that Acheron vs Aventurine is a poor example of the Corner stone power because it was greatly diminished. My point isn't Aventurine is stronger, my point is that the example is flawed to use as the gauge for strength of the item. Hell when we see Diamond, or Jade or even Topaz use their corner stones that will be a better gauge as they are not damage.
The cornerstones are granted to make the user's will come true. Which means the main purpose of the cornerstone will be lost once the user's will becomes fulfilled. I feel like the stonehearts move in such a way that they need to achieve that goal. That's why it's one-time or just several times of use.
Diamond is most likely a Kevin expy from the way he speaks and his overall philosophy. So he might be one of the stronger emanators in the cosmos.

About Jing Yuan. Does it say anywhere directly that he is an enanator? Because I'm more inclined for him to be like Aventurine. He was gifted Lightning Lord, instead of a cornerstone. The game says that they have the blessing of the Hunt and that they are on par with the Lord Ravagers but up till now all the emanators have been directly mentioned to be emanators besides Jing Yuan.

Tbh, we don’t know how much each cornerstone possesses;
aventurine with a weakened cornerstone was one shot by Acheron, and we don’t even know if that was a full out attack, or if it was just just used to stop as much destruction as possible.
Counter-point, we also don’t know how much of Qilpoth’s power was given to diamond, and in-turn the stonehearts, it could be anywhere from 10-30% to dimond, and 1-5 for the other stonehearts, we just don’t know.
What the Acheron scene shows us more than anything, is how weak the stone-hearts are compared to emenators:
Even if we say that the stone breaking caused aventurine’s power to decrease by 300%, to be one-tapped by an emenator is still crazy, especially because he’s at least 1% of quilpoth’s power, so the fact that Acheron’s emenator powers arn’t limited, and she probably was holding back makes it all the more dangerous.
(IX, different from the other aeons, doesn’t limit how much power THEY’RE giving to it’s emenators, meaning that Acheron can draw more power from the black hole than others like Lan or Nanook, who gives their emenators 20~% of their power, which for Nanook, has the requirements of being capable of killing galaxies. )
Along with this, IX is the strongest aeon, because it’s gaze, and influence goes over the entire universe, to the point that it even goes over other aeons, but because of the way it works, and it’s feelings, it doesn’t do anything, because it feels like life is meaningless.
Going off topic, someone in the comments section brought up the fact that the architect lance is a unfinished cornerstone, something aventurine brought up before you start the boss fight, and while giving his monologue. Which when you think about it, make your wonder:

The trailblazer has a stelleron, the architect lance, and if you haven’t already been spoiled yet;
* the watchmaker’s legacy.*
These are all over the paths of destruction, preservation, and harmony respectfully, being fragments, or parts of the power of each. But I wonder if aventurine’s comments about the lance might say something about foreshadowing later on, especially for something like the stelleron, something that The trailblazer has yet to fully utilize, besides using it to enhance his baseball bat.
So I wonder if this hints at a possible awakening for the past paths we’ve had.

As a matter of fact, what does he accomplished when he use the stone in a fecking DREAM. All he did was destroyed a part of the DREAMscape physically may i add. He himself have comfirmed that if you hurt yourself physically in the DREAMscape, you wake up. What his endgame here, if the stones could kill people in DREAM then why go out his way to be killed by Acheron, so he can comfirm death does not exist in DREAM? Sunday already confirm death does exist in DREAM by his Harmony spell
So he can enter the real penacony. And the only way to do it is killed by the Death entity or look for someone strong enough to kill him in the dreamscape without waking him up
