Wow! Spectacular views, history, and that bridge looks so fun. You had me at "[Mother's Viewing room] at a theater..all theaters need this" until watching this show, I have only passed through Libby with no information of reasons why to visit. My neighbors down south travel to Libby each year to fish and always revel about how amazing Libby is, but until now I was not convinced to add it to my list. I'm now excited to actually go, visit, camp or stay at one of the iconic acomodations. I suppose a video is worth a thousand words. I would have been up at that theater all 2020 and before when I felt like theaters were a no go for those with children. On the business side, for those looking for a unique experience for teambuilding, or clientele, or Corporate CE groups- I'll pass any day on traveling to Whitefish, Great Falls, Billings, Dallas, Seattle, or Las Vegas. Can we please just book CE in Libby. Love this show. I actually got youtube premium so I could play this show scroll on repeat at our corporate office. No commercials and no creepy ads and no awkward jokes. Host is poised, informed, easy to listen to, music mixed in is ambient and soothing for our corporate office.
I want to live here badly. I hate the state I'm from (I'll keep the state to myself), and Montana is my dream state. I want the small town feel i grew up with and the beautiful mountains, rivers, and trees.
The dam was created during the great depression era? Late 60s early 70s we had a depression? still enjoyed the video. Just don’t understand what depression that was.
@@MontanaCountryBoy406 They dug up peoples yards and did a huge cleanup for years in Libby so I think it's safe, but I would have any house inspected for asbestos before I would buy it. Personally I wouldn't want to live in Libby. It also has an inversion problem resulting in poor air quality in winter.
Forty one years in Libby, and I would live nowhere else. Thanks for this tour of a town I love.
It's a great town!
Beautiful country and good people. Thank you for making this. This is the Libby, MT we love!
One of my favorite episodes yet!
good to hear
Looks better than when I spent my teenage years in Libby in the 1970s. Love to visit, again! Good to see Libby in video :)
Go to their annual International Chainsaw Competition...first week in September.
That was a lot of fun and super interesting.

👍
Libby was a huge superfund area due to asbestos from a nearby mine. I know several people with health problems or have died because of it,
Is it gone though?

What about the Asbestos? How can we be sure?
