Montana's Best Town Spotlight: Roundup, MT
Rainbow trout is on of the memories I still talk about in NC and it wasn’t about records it was more about history and love from my hometown Libby!! ❤ no matter where in Montana rainbow trout are present… we have fish shops here in NC and rainbow trout I’ll buy right now!!
Sent an email to Shana fossil site, but she never returned one.
At 6;42: Huckleberries definitely grow outside Montana and Idaho. Maybe she is thinking that the huckleberry is the state fruit of Idaho and Montana. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huckleberry en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaccinium_membranaceum .
I want to come do this in June. Is that a good time of year?
Why are they so close to the surface?
WHAT ABOUT THE ASBESTOS?? No mention of the mass amounts of asbestos present in the area. Its in the air, any time you stir the dirt. The numerous superfund sites? The HUGE counts of Asbestosis and Cancer?
why dont you tell the truth
What about the Asbestos? How can we be sure?
I love Libby🥰. But it has a high pollution rate
love love love
The Clark Fork River has so much history surrounding it. Thanks for the history lesson.
Triceratops my ass. Where's the rest of it. Where's all these excavation videos of these dinosaur bones and how come they can only find pieces and not the whole damn skeleton. Look up excavation of a triceratops. Won't find nothing. Look up excavation of a Stegosaurus. You won't find nothing. But y'all have all these entire skeletons with no video proof of the excavation of each certain skeleton that they find. Dude picked up a piece of rock and said it was a tooth. Well if you believe that I got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. There's tons of video footage of them finding mummies in the valley of the Kings so why not video footage of them finding these dinosaur skeletons.
Thanks, as Thompson Falls, still on our “” BUCKET LIST”……to visit…..
Thanks, GREAT OVERVIEW & Video.. Also, the “” GATES of Mountain” video is a Wonderful look at that Place &/Tour((*I have done TOUR ,four TIMES , including the “ BAT TOur”(((NOT TO BE MISSED, IF can get TICKET👍🏿!😄🙏)… And , at last one of our grandkids got the FOURTH GRADE TRIP!!….. To reiterate, all People, should do this tour/ Trip, (* ps: MONTANA WILS , does a BAT TOUR AT “” Spring MEADOW state Park, also!! Nit to be missed!
Remember to carry your side arm in a museum. It promotes family values.😳

Hi l am from the UK can l get one of those t shirts
It was on this last weekend I was there. There were women doing it too. The smell of the wood is awesome to smell too.
Drove through Thompon Falls two weeks ago and didn't know about all this.
After watching this I looked up "Clash of the Carvers". Wow, it's happening right now! I live just across the hill in Idaho, time to load up the family and head that way!
You won't regret it!
I want to live here badly. I hate the state I'm from (I'll keep the state to myself), and Montana is my dream state. I want the small town feel i grew up with and the beautiful mountains, rivers, and trees.
Libby is a huge superfund site due to the vermiculite mine. Look up the HUGE amount of Asbestosis and Cancer.
This is really well produced Julie, bravo
🫶❤️🔥😻
Another amazing video guys! You're the reason I'll be in Montana next year.
That jail house is awesome!
Montana looks amazing. You do an awesome job highlighting it's beauty
This was great!!!
Lets go!!!
Love the hosts enthusiasm.
Libby was a huge superfund area due to asbestos from a nearby mine. I know several people with health problems or have died because of it,
Is it gone though?
@@MontanaCountryBoy406 They dug up peoples yards and did a huge cleanup for years in Libby so I think it's safe, but I would have any house inspected for asbestos before I would buy it. Personally I wouldn't want to live in Libby. It also has an inversion problem resulting in poor air quality in winter.
Montana's Best is the Best!
This looks awesome. Chainsaws and art...brilliant.
Beautiful country and good people. Thank you for making this. This is the Libby, MT we love!
Forty one years in Libby, and I would live nowhere else. Thanks for this tour of a town I love.
It's a great town!
Can you please help me understand why people stayed there after all the Asbestos?
Nice job. So glad you enjoyed the special side of Montana.
Beautiful country!
I drove over 600 miles to this place, closed, but the store was open, bought a couple bags, not even one stone! I’m a collector and wanted to add to my collection, I also facet my own, I was pretty disappointed, I could have bought stones for what I paid for just gravel! Good luck tourist
How fun
I can’t wait to go
If you want to contract Mesothelioma be my guest.
Libby is a huge superfund site due to the vermiculite mine. Look up the HUGE amount of Asbestosis and Cancer.
Libby is a asbestos death town. Not safe
Lihby mt is a asbestos death town. Sold as safe..it is not safe
How fun!
The dam was created during the great depression era? Late 60s early 70s we had a depression? still enjoyed the video. Just don’t understand what depression that was.
It’s an “ancient” (6-7k years) “seabed” plain evidence of the flood. If not, where did the water go?? Go kid your grandma.
You should do a video showcasing every county and res in Montana.
You guys have a serious Montana accent. Donno if anyone noticed that.
Farmer Dan is the best!
mother in law for Christmas...lol
Looks better than when I spent my teenage years in Libby in the 1970s. Love to visit, again! Good to see Libby in video :)
Go to their annual International Chainsaw Competition...first week in September.
