And more films by David Lean and Alfred Hitchcock. Ryan's Daughter hasn't been on in a while. Anything with John Mills or Hayley Mills in it would be great. Sir John Mills was a lovely man and is fondly remembered and much missed.

What has Talking Pictures given us? Repeats! I remember we spent the 60s and 70s complaining about the number of repeats. And now there’s a whole channel devoted to them. Sorry, I’m just winding you up. I love watching the channel. It probably accounts for half my viewing. Age: 66.
I absolutely love TPTV -- it was one of my favourite channels when I was with Virgin TV. Now I've switched to Sky TV, I can no longer get the channel. Are there any plans to make TPTV available on Sky?
@@wulf659 Thanks, yes, normally that would work, but unfortunately we don’t have a roof aerial here and indoor aerials don’t pick up Freeview channels where I live. (I just tried it again after reading your message). That’s why I have to rely on Sky or cable. I should really contact Sky. Thanks, though!
Heavens Above! with peter sellers was on tptv a week or so ago and a part of a womens sentence was clipped off due to the fact she mentions a certain ethnic group.

@@TalkingpicturestvCoUk quite a few areas of the UK don't get all the usual Freeview channels, I've been on holiday this year in Dorset and Devon and neither had TPTV and also a few other channels were missing, I retuned the TV's to make sure but they were not available in those areas unfortunately. Weymouth in Dorset was the worst, only about 25 channels available compared to over 100 here in the Midlands

If you have proper Sky through a satellite dish, it's on channel 328.

if you have one of those new tvs which have digital tv built in could you not get your tv remote and switch to over the air broadcasts ?

I can,t get Talking Pictures it is one of theFreeview channels that I cannot receive.
It's channel 82 on Freeview, I know I didn't have it in Fife, but now in the Borders it's no problem.
It's free on satellite too, for example by using a Freesat box.
