I was refused an exemption to leave Australian back to the UK to see my mother who was riddled with cancer, in hospital and in her last moments on this planet.
Luckily they opened the borders shortly after my refusal. Luckily I got to see her for two weeks before she died.
From that point on I decided I cannot stay in this type of country with a mind set like 1940s Germany, so I have since relocated back to the UK-London where I wake up each day with a big smile of my face knowing I escaped!
I also actually of thinking of denouncing my Australian citizenship because of mine and other peoples experiences.
New migrants beware, Australia is sold a paradise, but under the surface it’s the opposite.
I also find it funny how the Australian government is so critical of China and the policies they impose, when they are doing the exact same things to there own citizens.

Australia is a great place to live if you never want to get ahead or own anything. Just be able lower your standard of living and the welfare system can provide for your needs.
If the ATO wasn’t a government organization they would be a criminal enterprise. If you work and try to accumulate anything you are taxed on your tax eg..GST, goods and services tax on top of income tax on top of luxury tax on top of petrol business tax. Not to mention every place you want to go has a tolls that all link up and have per kilometer rates. It’s the equivalent to a modern day slavery.

The ATO isn't a legal entity, but the Australian Government justify it's existence due to the Tax Act. You are correct it technically is a criminal enterprise, and in fact the Australian Government is corporation masquerading as government. There is no line of Authority being God-Monarch- Commonwealth and the Australian Government's Crown is a St Edwards Vatican Crown not the 1901 Imperial Crown of the Commonwealth of Australia. The ATO was found to be a non legal entity back in 2001 in the High Court of Australia. The ATO is owned by Black Rock , Bank of America and other American financial corporations through the Fed. We pulled the paperwork backing this all uop from the Australian Securities Investments Commission register of company names back about a year ago. Australia like the United States is dictated to by an intergovernmental committee based in Rome since for America 1962 and Australia 1973. The whole system of taxation in both countries is a scam orchestrated by the Fed as far back as 1913 when Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Bank Act .

Been in Thailand for 8 years, no tax from fully franked dividends as the tax is already taken out by the company paying you the dividend. Any money you have in you bank is taxed at 10% on the interest you earn, e.g. $1,000 - $100 and the bank takes that out, providing you tell them your going overseas and will become a foreign or non resident. Watch out for the new laws coming out (nothing concrete yet), but I heard that you would have to be out of the country for 3 years to be considered a non resident for tax purposes and in country for 45 days to be a resident for tax purposes, more than likely if it does come into effect, it will be around 1 July 2024. Edit: Also no Capital Gains Tax on the sale of shares. But don't hold property whatever you do.

Born and raised in Australia and the past 10years has felt like a prison sentence. This country is owned and run by big cooperations that invest in our highly inflated housing market and constantly raise our cost of living. Negitive gearing HASTO BE ABOLISHED! The quality of life in Australia is gone and everybody is depressed and or ignorent or both we now have a country of nasty picky, selfish people. It’s farked! I have a few friends who are homeless, work full time were good tenants living in the same house for years then owner decided to sell up, left them high and dry, can’t find a rental so forced to move in with friends. I mean yeah technically not homeless in the sense of not living under a bridge but when you are living in one room full of your unopened boxes and no shed or yard space to do what you need to do for work is hardly having a home. Also iv seen doctors living permanently in caravans in parks because there’s no suitable housing. The world has gone mad. They taught us in school if you work hard enough you can get whatever you want, but the harder you work the more they tax you. Better off being poor and getting hand outs.

I'm a born & bred Australian & had the chance to stay in the UK when I was young, I am so sorry I didn't take the opportunity. For a long time now the really rich Chinese have been putting our housing prices through the roof for years & getting away with huge tax advoidence. Australia is extremely racist towards the UK & European nationalities that got this nation off the ground. Asians, Africans & Arabs can walk through our door but if your European or from the UK it's expensive too vertically impossible. So is the Australian government racist towards the white European offspring of our founding fathers yes. Our government is also trying to change our constitution without telling us how & what changes will be made. They are doing what Canada is doing & trying to take away a lot of our rights to information on social media & mainstream news so we will be limited to what we can view. Anything classed as misinformation will be removed & banned, the only ones exempt from these new laws will be of course the state & federal governments they can of course dish out anything whether it's true or not. Australia & Canada were the two twin nations in the world that were considered the best to live in. People used to dream of being born into these two cultures. Unfortunately we have stood back for too long & just letting them take our rights, we don't even celebrate Christmas like we used to in case we offend another religion even though it is them coming to our culture & not the opposite way around. Our ancestors fort & died for our freedom now we are left wondering why. Every piece of land with any value is being handed back to the aboriginals that just leave it to sit & rot or lease it back to us for ridiculous amounts of money. They continue to blame past history for their on going problems & will take no responsibility for their own lives & mistakes. Apparently putting money in their pockets that they spend on drink will fix their drinking problems & when we give them free or cheap housing & destroy it we should fix it, the whites have the the same problems but apparently we only have ourselves to blame & ourselves to fix it Yes what a great place Australia was once but no longer. But take note people Australia & Canada are trial nations for the introduction of the world Government so don't run to far because other nations are closely following behind. You see, if you don't know where to look you only see the faults in other nations while your governments are busy hiding your faults from you.🇦🇺🐨😢😡

The govt flew in foreign cops as part of the "Strong Cities" program (these were the ones in riot gear only identifiable by a black number on red patch who also used armoured vehicles against unarmed citizens). The govt has a monopoly on violence and when it suits them they ignore the laws as nothing can be done against them for doing so.
Also note that under Dictator Dan's omnibus bill, the definition of "detained" has been changed permanently to remove being "charged" or "sentenced", thus allowing someone to be permanently detained without any charge or sentence - i.e. a political prisoner, without any right of appeal. The same omnibus bill also changed the law to permit anyone to be "detained" for "public health & safety" purposes without charge or sentence. This means the govt can cart you away for any reason they like. The same omnibus bill changed the law to also permit the govt to force anyone to undergo any medical procedure they deem is required for "public health & safety". His "permanent powers" bill changed the law to let him declare a state of emergency if he felt there was or could be an emergency of any type anywhere in the world, and that the emergency period would be indefinite subject to him confirming to himself and his cronies every month that there was an emergency. How long until he uses "climate" as the excuse to lock everyone down?
Many in Australia believe the elections (not all but key electorates) are rigged - the seat of Mulgrave (Dictator Dan's seat) had a clear win for the independent but because a letter from the VEC (Victorian Electoral Commission) instructed vote counters to only care about "Labor & Liberal" votes (which of the two was the higher preference over the other), the Dictator won. When the independent tried to get a recount he was told "there's no need, the correct person won".
Combine this with the fact that there was election rigging (electoral fraud) by means of the existence of fraudulent parties "Sack Dan Andrews Party" - fraud because this party was the opposite of what it claimed to be and also because it was 100% funded and run by another party (Labor). What did the VEC do? Absolutely nothing because they're 100% crooked and run by Dictator Dan and one of his ministers.
The reality of elections is "selected, not elected", and no it has nothing to do with the stupid preference system as shown by the commission only caring about two-candidate preferred. Also there is footage from the NSW election going around the internet where an electoral official puts boxes of votes in a private vehicle and says that they're rigging the election.
Oh and FYI, only the govt is supposed to make laws according to the Constitution yet "National Cabinet" which was created during the plandemic has 100% usurped the Federal Government as the Prime Minister lets National Cabinet exclusively make laws. There is no legitimate govt as long as National Cabinet exists.

If you need to flash back that far back to form the basis of an argument, then perhaps you should hold off on your criticisms of contemporary life here. Taxation rules here may be complex but that is to avoid being ripped off by people who consider it a challenge to pay as little tax as possible. And it’s not like we’re mean and nasty with our tax revenues. Last financial year, sixty percent of all taxation revenue went towards welfare and around half of that went to support aged pensioners. Maybe many of these tax avoiders would prefer to live in countries with a more laissez faire approach to taxation such as Venezuela, Angola or Liberia. You could quite happily spend your days hiding under your bed smug in the knowledge you’re no longer contributing to the Australian way of life.

Hey mate, I’m doing amazing in Australia❤ I love paying taxes here Australia’s healthcare system is the best and has amazing Drs and Nurses compared to where I was born. It’s not just the healthcare system there are so many good things about Australia. At the moment what I don't like is the high price of owning a house which is happening all around the world. “I’m talking about comfortable house and their standard houses”

Nonsense, no Australian residents are leaving Australia because of any 'draconian' Australian tax laws. There are two things guaranteed in life, taxes and death. The thing that makes taxes in Australia 'difficult' for some is the Australian Tax office and the Australian Government are continually eliminating methods of avoiding the taxes that we all know must be paid.

Every year, more and more countries that you have been recommending to your clients for many years are becoming tax hells. Do your clients love displacing their families every five years to chase the next low-tax but poor country?
Guess which country has always been very liberal and conservative, has always had lax tax laws in the past few decades and has not only prospered far beyond other countries, but also offers one of the highest standards of living on the planet, had very lax rules during covid (because politicians don't have the last say - the population does), and will continue to have lax tax laws and continue to prosper much more than the rest of the world and would probably have been the better, albeit not the "cheapest" recommendation for the majority of your family oriented clients all along.
Just wait another 10 years and there will be only 2 or 3 countries left to recommend, of which one will be the decision to spend the rest of your life in what boils down to a continuously heated and humidified shopping center with a dictator at its helm and no social systems to mention, and one that has true democracy and almost unparalleled quality of life.
Your job seems to become easier every year as more countries become tax hells. 😉😂

The ATO is not that bright, they chased a friend of mine years ago for over two years with same investigator. My mate was in a cash business and the same guy followed him around to four different locations over two year period. This guy pretended to be a half wit, telling my friend his father had the same business years ago. Asking him thousands of questions. One night my friend was moved to a different location, just around the corner just sitting in the dark and he watched this ATO guy walking from another business owner. They locked eyes and the ATO guy the word F#ck. He knew his cover was blown but the funny thing is why my mate knew over two years earlier and warned other business owners, who he was. But other owners of businesses did cash jobs. The worst thing about the ATO is even if you are right and you take them to court and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars, they can back date kaw changes so they win. An accountant told me just pay them what they want. There was a well-known criminal and Melbourne they were chasing for money and he met them in a restaurant open a suitcase with I don't know know how many hundreds of thousands of dollars and he said this is all you getting. They took it and close the case against him.
