A musical genius who’s grossly underrated
Neil Sedaka in his prime. Just the man and a piano on a bare stage. Pure talent. Wow!
"The Hungry Years "is a beautiful poignant ballad that stands as one of the most wonderful songs ever written by Neil Sedaka.
🎉well ☺️ said !
It's about the rise and fall of his friends, Sonny and Cher and what happened to their partnership.
A man, a piano in perfect harmony, what could be better?
Simply wonderful, no fancy stage....just Neil and his brilliance singing that beautiful song....one of the BEST singers and songwriters in music history....Love you Neil always ❤️
What a truly beautiful song sung by a musical GENIUS. NO music comes CLOSE these days NOR do the try hards calling themselves musicians. A SALUTE to you mr Sedaka you will ALWAYS be remembered.
This man is a musical genius with a beautiful soul.
A true masterpiece.
My first serious breakup with a beautiful girl when this album came out….ending on this song.
I truly enjoy his daily mini concerts during the pandemic. Bless you Neil Sedaka.
The mini concerts are a lot of fun!!

An amazing song by a musical genius
I am a giant fan..great singer and his many many songs will live on and on....
Beautiful tune ❤️ brilliant songwriting
This is the first time I've heard anyone else sing this song and I didn't know that he and another man wrote this song. The first time I heard it was when Engelbert Humperdinck sang it on the album that I had of Engelbert and I heard him perform it at his concert.
How could I be so blind?
A very special man. His words are so meaningful., always telling a story. I always get involved with all the words
Perfection
What a voice and songwriter. A national treasure.
Notable cancion no me canso de escucharla
Neil Sedaka has an awesome voice singing this song 🙂🙂👍👍👏👏
Probably 😋😸🤔🤠 his Best song most closely associated with him . Written by Howard Greenfield and himself , I'll never ever forget what he said about the " song ☺️❤️ record 👏👌👍⏺️⏺️⏺️ " when they finished recording it when interviewed by " Tony Orlando " .he said everyone involved with the recording " cried " at the end of the recording session and it's easy to see 🙂🙈 why ! Frank Sinatra performed it at the Westchester premier theatre 🎭 in Tarrytown NY !
That was on the MDA telethon? Nice to hear a solo piano version.
Lovely song
Absolutely beautiful song.❤️
43 years and his voice is still as good as ever
I love Neil Sedaka and I love his songs but I like the way Engelbert Humperdinck does it better but I do love Neil Sedaka.
In this getup he could be Don Kirshner's long-lost twin.
Only Neil Sedaka makes a crap sound engineer sound good
