I lived in Mason City for 10 years. I took dance lessons at The Surf. Saw several concerts there, but I only remember one of them was Starship. Won the tickets by calling into a radio show.

I went to a show at Surf not long before the pandemic shut everything down. Fun venue, and a great place to see a show. I didn't fully realize the history of the place until after I got home, otherwise I would have taken more pictures and spent time in the gift shop.
Wow that's a lot to digest in one video. Sorry to hear about Mr. X. Though I'm sure he had insurance, sounds like he had things that were irreplaceable or close to it.

I have taken a break over the summer and hopefully kicking off again as we get into fall. I’ve had a large renovation project I’ve been working on in our house and just have not had much guitar building time…except for a very elite guitar that I had to keep under wraps.
@@letsbuildaguitar9230 I have a guitar question if you have time I see people plug the f holes in semi hole guitars to kill feed back but I have never seen a guitar with the f hole’s on the back. Would that kill the feedback??

Yes unfortunately some of those guitars are irreplaceable.
