I got this shape together eventually! Some clues for you: You need 12 paper squares. The video creator has kindly shown how to join 3 parallelogram strips together. Do that 4 times using 3 strips per triangular based pyramid. Then slot the 4 pyramids together so that the extra panels form 2 extra points. This shape is a downward triangular based pyramid interpenetrating an upward pyramid. A merkaba. The trickiest part is forming the parallelogram. Hint, look at the bottom of the paper and see how the shape should look. Forming the merkaba, try to form the 2 up and down pyramids, and tuck all the extra flaps in to make the 2 extra points. Best to listen to something interesting while doing this. Cheers!
thanks for that, I wasn't sure how many to make. I kept messing up the last folds trying to watch it on my phone, when I watched at 1/4 speed on my laptop I finally got it right! I had missed it being turned over at one stage.
Fiddly but it does work. Useful info to know - the finished shape has 8 points which are all 3 sided pyramids ( the 4 th side is the base and can be ignored). So you need 24 triangles. Each strip that she has us make is 4 triangles but both pointed ends will go into flaps in the middle triangles on other strips. So each strip gives you 2 sides of a pyramid. So you need 12 strips in total . Then you just painstakingly slot them together using her original template and remembering you will need to use all the strips and each strip contributes one triangle to a pyramid and one to its neighbour. So 3 strips make one pyramid ( as she shows in her video). Good luck....
Very nice folding! For viewers struggling with the assembly: I found a helpful video on RUclips, searching for "Origami Saint Quartz." Skip the folding instructions and carefully observe the assembly of the four units at the end. You can use the same joining pattern for this model, which is easier to fold in my opinion.
Basically it's a repeat x amount of times you you have enough pieces then you just puzzle it together. In the video they made one of the spikes of the stellated octahedron. It just needs to be put together of more pieces. It needs 12 pieces to be made it seems

Bro..plz make a video on this...we will watch yours instead of this one....😊😊😊
I love this star! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, now i can observe 3D merkaba model. 🙏🏼
Thanks for sharing this useful video!
Who else is here because of Fate/Grand Order?!
Bringeth the quartz
This reminds me of the "How to draw an owl" meme.
How to Draw an Owl
Step 1: Draw 2 circles
Step 2: Draw the rest of the @%#$ing owl
Thank you for this video! I have been looking for this shape :)

Oh please! could you publish the complete union of the cube. This is driving me crazy!
Excuse me, what is the Complete Union of the Cube?

Very helpful.
Many thanks

It seems like waste if time.
Aisha S Shut up🖕😊👎
