Yes same here, I thought having a Volvo approved dashcam installed by Volvo themselves rather than going to Halfords the safest idea due to all the tech in the car. Does not connect to iPhone app and no GPS is recorded. Obviously with the Google infotainment system Volvo are more geared towards Android. I’ve wondered what’s the point of having an iPhone when I can’t connect to the dashcam or use the factory fitted phone charger.
Need to update your video to mention that the app does not work with iPhones. Had one installed today by my Volvo dealer, app won’t connect with the camera and when I phoned the manufacturer they admitted there were problems and hoped to sort it within a few weeks. They will tell you that the footage can be viewed on a desktop but fail to mention that the one they recommend costs USD $35. When I questioned a refund should the app not work they said go back to Volvo. I would suggest to avoid at all costs.
Roadhawk is a terrible brand for support. The DC-3 software is now useless so you have to adjust settings manually in the configuration file on the SD. So don't dare lose that. I'll be replacing mine soon with a viofo of some sort.

I looked at the Viofo but in the end went for the Thinkware U3000 - it’s in a completely new league to the Roadhawk
@@robowen3450 haven't pulled the trigger on the Viofo yet, so will certainly be checking out the Thinkware :)
