Turok 2 Seeds of Evil is a fantastic game, and even better remastered! Everything looks great and runs at 60fps fairly smoothly. It will be ~10 hours of gameplay for an experienced player, and more if this is your first time playing. To me, it was worth every bit of money I spent on it, but if you're wondering if it's worth it, feel free to watch the videos and see some gameplay! It's one of those classic games that plays sort of like Doom. The story is minimal but it's definitely interesting that a "dinosaur hunter" Is saving the universe from a nearly all powerful being known as the Primagen.
I loved and played this game so much for N64 that I actually remembered where all of these were except 1!!! At the start of level 2 I blew up the left wall, but forgot about the right wall. Thanks for the video. It would've drove me nuts retracing that level a third time!!

Most of these areas I didn't even think were secret. I just constantly stumbled upon them because I was lost in the game not knowing where to go like ALL THE TIME!
I spent 2 hours trying to find the 4th secret for level 2. I eventually gave up.

5:17 You can actually get up there with some good timing thanks to the new grabbing mechanic. From the slope on the lower area, you can aim your jump just right that you can actually grab the invisible bridge & holster yourself up to the secret area. You can access some pretty powerful weapons very very early in the game like this.

Your videos are excellent! I just want to say that I wish for this video you'd have shown the viewer which warp portal they can take. For example secret #2 on Blind Ones is right near a portal. I ended up playing half of that hell of a level again finding the secret, then to realize a warp portal is like two minutes away!!!! Otherwise great stuff, thank you for doing these vids bro
agreed lol, literally just happened to me, it was kinda frustrating traveling and getting lost through that level again!

The one at 5:20 in Death Marshes, you can lift yourself up by the tree branch and get tons of weapons way early. Pro gamer move.

Hey man really liked your video i was wondering if you could maybe do turok 3 for all secrets??
Dang the last two I need are the ones in the water on the lightship. They just don't pop. Edit: Nvm I was only looking under the water in the first section. They popped for me in the second section.
For the last secrets in Death Marshes, you can get to that area with a ledge grab. No need for the talisman in this version.
Those baby dinosaurs you're referring to are compies.

The first mission I wonder how to get the object with arc of red gems. There is a little gadget with some arrows but it does not work?

Man I followed your normal videos and got to the last area and no achievement... is there any in game tracker to tell where I may have messed up? Really REALLY not trying to blindly do the game again.
The game tells you how many Secret Areas you've found in each level right under the Mission Status part. You might as well have to enter every level to check.

That first secret wont show up for me. I go inside the boat and it's just dark. I'm playing it on Xbox One. It says 0/5 Secrets so I don't know what's going on, I even started a new game to check. If anyone can help me out with this mystery let me know, thanks!
Got this achievement in about 5 minutes using 4 byte search in cheat engine, bogus chore otherwise.

makes me upset that they tried to pawn this off for 20 bucks when they didnt even add new HD textures. Just a few FX options and a decent PC port, that's all. Bloom, reflections, some blood decals. They should've went the extra mile. Adding new updated meshes, textures, even something similar to Halo remaster where you pressed a button it switched between the old and new versions. They're just stealing intellectual property to make a quick buck. The greatest feature is the added enemies and mouse / keyboard support.
Yeah same opinion. Id like to play turok 2 but 20$ for such an old game is just very rude.

It’s on sale for $6 on Xbox right now if you act fast. My guess is they’ll both be on sale again within 3 months.
That would be changing the game too much & over modernize it, since part of it's charm is how great it is for and older game.

Josh Willey After playing Turok 2 Remastered, I can say that it has various differences from the N64 version. One of these is, unfortunately, changes to the level layouts. Level 5, Hive of the Mantids, was overly simplified and is no longer the massive maze that one can expect from an insect colony.
@@joshwilley3173 They aren't the same, I've never played the remastered but I found out that some parts of every level is totally different than the original after watching his play through vids. Luckily i still managed to figure things out but some parts are completely different to the point that some people wouldn't be able to beat a certain levels even no matter how many times they study/watch the play thrus. Especially level 4 & 5 have some big differences like they way you're supposed or some rooms or etc not being in the same place or even being on the N64 original lol.
Also, dude, all of these areas are from the original game. Kinda begging for clicks saying they belong to the remaster version.
There wasn't an achievement in the original game. There is on the remastered/steam version :)
Also the level layouts for N64 version & the remastered version are not the same even they it's pretty close still.
Dude - didn't even show how to get the Feather in lvl 2. Also the big how to get the big Claw. lol
It's because he's only showing the actual official secrets... They are like achievements for the remastered version.
