Yngwie Malmsteen is one of a kind. No one else like him. I for one, am glad of it. I love his music. Like him or not, he is a Master of the fret board. He is not limited to just Neo Classical. His understanding of Music Modes Theory is profound. He is one of the most efficient guitarists I have eve seen.
Yngwie is great, but I think y'all should check out DAVID T. CHASTAIN'S albums Instrumental Variations, Within the Heat, and Elegant Seduction before you make a final decision. 🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@PeskyPudgyPanda - I have some of those albums, I'm a fan. But he's not on Yngwie's level. Yngwie is a game changer like Hendrix and EVH, I wouldn't call Chastain a game changer but he's a great player. Cheers!
So many coverd this song far beyond the sun but yngwie him self make cover original song to orchestra 😎next different genre from yngwie flamenco diablo or amadeus quattro valvae very2 full skill
Don't get me wrong, Yngwie can certainly play, however he is a 1 trick pony. All his songs are the same. He plays his 50million notes per minute in all his same scales and arpeggios, but with just no feel there. This particular video only came about because Steve Vai did a gig with an orchestra, that was amazing, and he wanted to jump on the band wagon. In the video of Steve in the link here he's playing a song he wrote specifically for playing with an orchestra and his feel and choice of notes on just 1 or 2 notes is way more than Yngwie did in the whole of this track. Please check it out and see . Enjoy ruclips.net/video/6CfEaSmdtGU/видео.htmlsi=E9hUpyKnugp03ejW
Hmmm ... appreciate your passion and I can get why you do not like YM but why insult the artist and those that have loved the guy for decades lol (of course Yngwie has loved Yngwie for decades too). To say that all his songs are the same is like me saying how surprised I am that idiots are so willing to self identify. Steve Vai music and guitar playing may bore me but I appreciate him and what he has brought to the music world and understand why folks luv his playing. On the flip side, music can can move one's soul and what lights one fan's world ablaze may turn another's world to sludge. Peace out.
Yes I’ve always said music is subjective and what one person likes may well be different from the next person and to the next person. I was not dissing Y as he’s a great player but just an observation. I love Heaven Tonight and Arpeggios From Hell is just freaky mad, however even so I’d really like him to not fall back on his “safe” stuff all the time.

One of the greatest performances of all time
He seems to be the Sheriff in town until someone else comes along.
The king!!

That's a helluva trick.
No feel and yet this video had him feeling from the first note played. Pretty blind take, sounds like you got some strange bias.
