Also, the lumina stone cave is probably under the zora kingdom since stalagtites (idk how to write them) are formed from water pression or smth, also zoras tend to build with lumina stones so theres also that yeah

Honestly, thank you so freaking much for commenting on the mid/negative comments. I was in another stream where even the streamer was making jokes and acting like everything was dumb. The chat made me feel for anyone who was just genuinely enjoying and being excited for launches, even if they weren't their jam. These games wouldn't be happening in such waves if they weren't positively received lately by gamers. It's important to remember to be kind and let people feel safe liking things. I immediately just want to be here for every release stream because you're so chill and kind about things

You can say that again. It is really disheartening (and also a bit scary) seeing so much hate, selfishness and intolerance no matter where you go. Not only in the gaming community but also everywhere else. It's like everyone has simply forgotten that they're not alone in the world. The notion of "Being happy for someone else" has become a completely foreign concept.

Plus, if there weren't games in directs with niche fanbases (i.e. the games that people usually call mid), the releases that people *do* care about don't hit as hard.
The reason directs are so magical is that you have NO idea what you're going to get (unless stuff leaks or whatever), so sometimes you get a direct that you don't care about but someone else does, and vice versa.
It's like gambling with hype instead of money; if the house doesn't sometimes win, you get numb to it after a point.
Agreed. The negative comments were really annoying and unnecessary. Like why so dramatic and judgmental. Just because they aren't the games you want to play, doesn't mean other people aren't excited and they aren't worthwhile games.
Edit: And I don't just mean point crows chat, but even more so for the chat on the actual Nintendo direct
I really appreciate how PointCrow approaches each announcement with optimism and positivity. Good on him for framing games he's not interested in as potentially really big ones for others and to remind chat to have that attitude as well

Crazy idea. What if when Zelda says "Please lend him your power", she's not speaking about lending power to Link, but having Link lend his power to someone else? My crazy theory is that we need to lend power to Ganondorf in order to break Demise's control over him and end the cycle by having all 3 pieces of the Triforce work together.
Would be cool af but I don’t think they’d ever end the cycle, that’d make continuing the timeline difficult haha

@@8unnylover Not really. It's possible to do different villains, and Age of Calamity created a timeline split. Calamity Ganon resurrected successfully in AoC without giving up on reincarnation, so it's entirely possible for Ganondorf/Ganon to return in that timeline.
i think she saying a prayer to hylia and asking hylia to lend link her power, maybe her final wish before she succumbs to calamity ganon? because her voice could never reach hylia before, in BOTW
I’ve never been a huge Metroid fan, but after playing Dread, I’m super hyped from the Prime remaster. My dad loved the prime series, and it’d be a nice way to visit his favorites!
I have always speculated if TOTK is actually a branch time line that happens as a direct result of Age of Calamity and that may explain why the territory is familiar but not quite the same as BOTW. Because BOTW never happened so something else happns in its place.
Except when Tears of the Kingdom was announced they stated it was a sequel to Breath of the Wild, not Age of Calamity.
Yeah, it could be nintendo taking the Majoras Mask aproach to a sequel. Like related in some way but different. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I am just here to tell you that you should definitely give Ghost Trick a try, it was one of my favorite DS games the story is incredible it's such a cult classic. I was overjoyed to see the announcement I yelled so loud I hurt my throat lol

What I find interesting that wasn't addressed was the weird device on links waist where the Shika slate used to be. There's like these tubes of neon green liquid in them. Also In different times during the teaser the amount of tubes there are change. I'm thinking that maybe they are used to activate shrines or devices or maybe power whole regions with zonai power at a special location which is why there are less at different times during the teaser, Who knows?
The green things (best seen at 1:06:52 ) look a lot like the hand that holds up ganondorf in the first trailer so this is possibly an entrance to somewhere or how link could attain new powers or runes.
The one guy who said it looked like a DLC apparently didn’t notice the LITERAL KINGDOM OF FLOATING ISLANDS IN THE SKY AND FLYING CASTLE AND FRIGGIN GLEEOK

I personaly think the cube falling near the end is a arm piece of that stakataka looking enemy falling off the islend since the energy going of of it is pointing upwards like its trying to rejoin like a magnet, maybe Im wrong tho

In skyward sword demise was sealed inside the master sword, so I’m guessing the sword being corrupted could release what’s left of him to allow him to try and finish what he couldn’t before.
i cried real human tears when the fashion dreamer game showed up. i picked up a style savvy game back in high school as a joke and absolutely fell in love w/ the series. seeing a new game by the same developers made me so so happy. it absolutely isnt for everyone, and thats okay :)

i really hope you enjoy splatoon. I suggest motion controls since the game is built around them, but it may be hard to adjust. The lack of aim assist makes stick controls very awkward
oh, and check out some high level players doing their thing. The skill cap for this game is insane and it gets cooler the further you go
What if you bring raw materials to the guardian hand and they turn it into batteries or body’s of a vehicle, you find ballons, wheels, and propellers from hidden locations, and use zoni tech from you hand to glue it together

I was looking at the Tears of the Kingdom Amazon page and it looks like there is a screenshot that isn't present in either the first or second trailer. I dont know if it is helpful for theories I thought I would just point it out.

- noticed how hateno's lab changed by design? it is more similar to akkala's lab now.
- i think tears is a reference to the meteors falling from the blood moon or maybe the wisps during the beginning like in twilight princess where you had to find tears for the spirits.
- the walls of the great plateau seem partially rebuilt and i don't see any ruins of where the bomb shrine should be and the design reminds me of master mode instead. like that fissure where there is a river to the magnesis schrine with those bokoblins on the flying platforms. the water is less deep in normal mode right?
- the red bokoblin's horn reminds me of the standard lizal spear and the blue ones have the second type of it. i wonder if black has the strongest version.
- the bokoblin with the crown reminds me of the moblins from skyward sword.
- when you look at the up-close view of the glowy symbols on the grass 1:21:40 i feel like i see a buffed lynel, a blue one to be specific?
- that blocky enemy in the sky reminds me of that bunny boss fight in mario odyssey when all of them team up in that asian bowser kingdom lmaoooo.
- malice erupts from death mountain is seen from up close when you talk about the cube when everyone asks lol.
- that new orb hammer thing really reminds me of the dominion rod.
- what are those rock pillars in the background during the car scene, dude? okay, here me out... we got a cube... and a sphere... do we get obamium dlc??? or... final boss?
- at 1:47:37 that blocky building under the logo has a greenish glow bottom left and there appears a yellow korok flower on top of it when it zooms in. looks a little like a swirl.
i am very excited to play it together, eric!
