Hi, thanks for the help, but I have one doubt about this video. I use EZD3 for my E-Drum kit sound, plugged via MIDI USB out to my Macbook. I found this video while researching for a way that I could record each drum part independently so I could adjust the levels of my recording. I achieved this using this tutorial for the EZD part, but I did not understand the "BUS" part with the BFD software, I mean it's a completely different sound there and I didn't even pair BFD with my midi out from the e-drums yet (Not even sure if there's an option). Do I really need that BUS? what's the real benefit for it for my context?
Very good insight into how to set up the multi-out. Is it possible to actually save the multi-out instrument so you don't have to go through all the steps on each new project? Thanks
You can save a template. Then when you create a new project you can use that template to start. I usually have a few different templates for different drum kits and styles of music. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Just getting into Luna. The built-in instruments work fine. I have EZ drummer, the original version, and I can't get the plug-in to show up in Luna. I'm on the PC version.
So VST's have to be VST3? Not sure if my original EZ drummer is VST 1,2 or 3. It's pretty old so it may not be VST 3. How can you to tell what version is?
You can look in C Program Files/Common Files/VST3 and see if the EZDrummer plugin is in there. It’s probably called ezd or EZDrummer or something like that. If it’s not in there then it’s not installed as a VST3. You can try re installing to see if VST3 is an option. If it isn’t then you may need to upgrade EZDrummer to version 3. If that’s not a possibility at the moment, you can use the free BFD player or Modo Drum CS.
I don’t have any connection with UA. So I can’t say for certain but seeing as they continue to add features that we are all requesting, it seems likely that they will add ADA support. It’s probably in the works already so maybe we’ll see it get rolled out before January. But like I said, I have no connection with them so I really don’t know for sure.
In 'other' DAWs like reaper, when you create tracks and select Ezdrummer, it automatically creates ALL the tracks at once. Doing this 1 at a time is ridiculous.
Thanks dude!
Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Thanks so much!

@@AudioTechTV Thanks man. That sounds like it could be another great tutorial :)

@@AudioTechTV Thanks for the info. Off to check. The BFD drummer looks pretty good. I'm going to try that!
Is there any hope for ARA in Luna?

Is that windows or mac?
Windows
@@AudioTechTV I couldn't get Luna to work on my laptop

Some daws allow you to do it automatically and some require you to set them up. The way Luna does it is actually better than some other programs.
seems like crap to be completely honest
