This is so true for me. I considered myself ex-Muslim long long before I found faith in Christ. I left for many reasons, the hypocrisy and issues related to womens rights were forefront in my decisions… I liberated myself from the Muslim dress code but I didn’t break every rule in the book because I could. My family’s reaction was the single biggest driver in concealing my new faith from my family. Their reaction was as severe as I had imagined.. if I wasn’t prepared, I know I would have lost my life. Years down the line, most of my family members don’t know… and I wouldn’t feel safe to travel back home.

@@asiyalyn9532 Lets get started. Islam says the exact same thing about slavery as any other religion I know of: slaves are okay. Everyone enslaved everyone in the ancient world. Islam forbade some of the enslaving ways, I can list them if you want. Islam merely permitted its followers to enslave their enemies in the battle fields not in any other places. has been part of our collective history. No nation on earth can claim they were free from it in their entire time of existence. One of the early reasons of slavery was as means of punishment. Waring nations would enslave each other turn by turn. People would enslave each other for protection. People in debt are made slaves. Slavery still exists, in very subtle and very evident forms. Citizenship can also a form of slavery.
In this context, Islam is the only religion that has despised slavery. It is the only religion that has given a process of abolishing slavery. The Quran does not literally abolish slavery. The reasons are mentioned in the Quran.
The Quran also goes on to encourage freeing of slaves in various places as means of compensating sins.
If you are taking about Banu then, Banu Qurayza broke the pact they had, they sided with enemy against the Muslims. They attacked Muslims, waged war against the Muslims…they armed Quraysh (and other enemies) with weapons and provisions against the Muslims. The Banu Qurayza waging war against Muslims part is mentioned in many authentic Hadiths, sadly the sources do not give us any more details where this battle took place. However given these facts we can safely state that what those treacherous Banu Qurayza warrior men got was justice demanded for them to be their fate by God.
Your statement about Prophet Muhammad marrying a 6 year old.. interesting. Back then even European kings married young females.. this shows that it was a common practice during that time period. I don't know why you're trying to compare a sensitive generation to a way older one.
      Your statement about sex slaves;
[4:3] And if you fear that you may not be just to the orphans, you may marry whom you please of the women, two, three and four. But if you fear being unfair, then only one, or what your right hand possesses, for that will make it less likely that you act unfairly. This verse is saying to either marry one, or marry what our right hands possess (slave).
[4:25] Those among you who cannot afford to marry one of the free believing women, may marry from among what your right hand possesses of the believing girls. God knows best about your faith than what you know about one another. So marry them with the permission of their families and pay them their due dowries equitably, thus they become protected in marriage, rather than committing illicit sex or taking lovers… This verse says to marry what the right hands possess (slaves), and that we are not allowed to commit illicit sex with them (the only two types of illicit sex mentioned in the Quran are adultery and fornication, but since the context is that the slave and you aren’t married, the “illicit sex” mentioned is fornication. This verse therefore disproves having concubines or sex with slaves unless you’re married to the slave).

    My response to Point 3.....
As a muslim literally everything you do in life revolves around pleasing Allah and following Muhammed in order to gain paradise (jannah). The biggest problem with this, if you so choose, is that adopting this lifestyle strips you of everything that makes life truly meaningful and fulfilling. Think about this objectively and rationallly
YOU, as a follower of Islam, there is..
*No art unless it's related to Allah's name so full artistic expression gone!
*No music unless it's praising Allah so musical talent and playing instruments gone!
*No watching tv/theatre that makes you forget Allah so appreciation of visual arts gone!
*No free writing unless it's about Allah so literary creativity gone!
*No admiration of anyone unless it's Muhammed so appreciation of ability and talent in people gone!
*No science that challenges creation in the Quran so education, enquiry and curiosity gone!
*No logic, reasoning, skeptism, common sense because anything other than what Muhammed tells you to think is inspired by "shaitan" so basic intellect gone!
*No time to do anything other than submitting to Allahs will so many useful extracurricular activities gone!
*No travelling to places around the world when the resources should first be invested in circling the black box in Saudi Arabia so wordwide exploration and discovery gone.
*No self pleasure allowed so sexual expression gone!
*No non permissible/contaminated food so experiencing all varieties of cuisine gone!
*No choice to decide what to wear because Allah tells you what to wear, so yes, contrary to popular belief that women in Islam are empowered, women DO NOT have a choice on what to wear... so dress sense gone.
As a case in point - the "pious" scholars tell you not to celebrate birthdays (it has pagan origins) and will give sharia reason for it - the Muslim community at large have ignored this "ruling" and do it anyway for their children to make them happy.
The "pious" scholars say pictures and images with eyes are not permissable ( it is frowned upon) - the muslims take pics and selfies anyway to treasure some memories of their loved ones.
The "pious" scholars say music/instruments is shaitaan - the muslim youth at large listen listen to the latest music trending.
The words and sounds allow us avenues to express our feelings and thoughts. The human being wants to express itself through music. It's our natural state. But no, music apparently comes from little red guy with horns who pees in ears and farts when he hears azaan. Really???
The "pious" scholars insist Chess is not permissible even though it was propagated by early muslims. Apparently Allah gets upset when you play a game that teaches you how to think strategically and logically.
The "pious" scholars say Yoga is haraam. Apparently it's a Hindu practise but many Muslims know it's merely another form of exercise.
And finally all this sacrifice for what exactly??
To please a 7th century champion of stolen war booty, polygamy, child marriages, sex slavery and wife beatings and a "God" who fully backed him up in these immoral, depraved and despicable activities, and yet this "Creator" wants to pass judgement on mankind to decide their eternal fate. If our muslim friends cannot see the irony here, there's no hope for them.
So our muslim friends are literally robots with all self autonomy, freedom and joy drained out of them by draconian judgements, nitpicking rulings and absurd laws, most belonging to a type of herd cult where the height of expression is just following each other with alhamdulillah/mashallah/alhahuakbar/inalilla/ameen...etc.
Muslims - do you honestly want to be a slave to a 1400 year old fictionalized and plagiarized stack of papers that you don't even bother reading except to make it sound pretty.
Blue pill or Red pill guys?

“Is🥕amic civilization” by force- global world domination is the end goal here😮
It’s also Arab imperialism - invading lands to spread by the sword and ruining the cultures that existed before it forced its way into new territories. Ignoring the original language and culture to then force Arab language and culture onto a people and claiming to speak to God in Arabic - a language non Arabs don’t understand is a fundamental core of how it’s also a cult. Not to mention- leaving can result in abuse or death- which is how cults operate.

To all of you talking about Allah like He is an entirely different God.
The Arab Christians say Allah to you know that right?
Allah means the one and only true God.
Islam means to submit your will to God.
Muslim means one who submits their will to God.
Arabic is another language just like when Spanish people say Jesus are they talking about someone else of course not they just speak another language.
Same with Arabic it's another language. Just like Indians we know some are Hindus but there are also Indian Christians you think those Indian Christians are worshipping Vishnu or Shiva?
No they have a word for God in their own language. You think Koreans who are Christians are saying Buddah?
No they also have a word for God in their own language.
But no one is disputing them saying whatever word they use for God is a pagan god.
Y'all only do this to Muslims!
Maybe you might want to tell all the Arab Christians who also say Allah.
And the Christians who translate Bible's into the Arab language to stop using Allah wherever God the creator is mentioned?
This is straight from the Arabic Holy Bible Genesis 1.
    فِي الْبَدْءِ خَلَقَ اللهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالارْضَ.
Let me also show you what Allah looks like in the Arabic script so you can find it above.
    اللهُ
I don't think Christians who translate the Bible into Arabic would use a pagan idol for God when translating the word God the Creator right?

until he reached the setting ˹point˺ of the sun, which appeared to him to be setting in a spring of murky water, where he found some people. We said, “O Ⱬul-Qarnain! Either punish them or treat them kindly.”
      - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
It literally says Dhul-Qarnayn saw it setting in a muddy water, not a scientific fact, just a statement about his POV. Try again.
Prophet Muhammad marrying a 6 year old.. interesting. Lets look back at history. European kings married little girls back then and also it was a common practice. Why are you comparing a much weaker and sensitive generation to a much older generation?
Third claim about killing; it would be nice if you'd read with context..
      9:4
As for the polytheists who have honoured every term of their treaty with you and have not supported an enemy against you, honour your treaty with them until the end of its term. Surely Allah loves those who are mindful ˹of Him˺.
      - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Your last claim; kill people who leave their religion if they spread misinformation, boast about them leaving their religion, etc - Prophet Muhammad commanded us to kill them, not the ones who leave silently, are peaceful, and don't go out spreading misinformation.

No womens name in Quran. Only Mariam, mother of Jesus., one whole chapter
Chap 3:19 - Family of Mariam, Mariam
Qur 3:34 onwards - mary was born without original sin, sinless, ever virgin,
Qur 50:23 - went to heaven with physical body
Qur 3:45-55 - 10 points quran makes about Jesus
Calls him kalimutullah (word of God), ruhhullah (spirit of God), Isil Masihi (jesus Christ - The Anointed)
Jesus spoke when 2 days old, at 4 years old he breathed life into mud(bird) and created life, cured a blind man, man with leprosy, Jesus gave life to dead people. Jesus went to heaven, he is still alive and will come again.
According to Quran - Prop Mohammad is not the word of God, not the spirit of God, never cured any sick people, never raised any dead people, never made any miracles (breathe life into mud > bird),
he himself died and will not come back.
Jesus is a prophet greater than Mohammad.
How did God create the universe? Through the Word of God ( kalimatullah)
Is the Word of God ( kalimatullah) - a Creator or Creation?
Quran says Jesus is the word of God.
Quran says Jesus is still alive, but Muhammad is no more.
    Who to accept?
Qur 10:94 If you have any doubt in this quran which I give to you, go and read the bible or ask the people who read the bible. The truth is already revealed in that.
The quran itself will make you Christian.

OUR LORD’S PROMISES ATTACHED TO THE PRAYING OF THE CHAPLET OF DIVINE MERCY AS REVEALED TO ST. FAUSTINA KOWALSKA
    1. “I promise that the soul that will venerate this image (of Divine Mercy) will not perish. I also promise victory over (its) enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory.” (Diary, 48)
    2. “The souls that say this chaplet will be embraced by My mercy during their lifetime and especially at the hour of their death.” (Diary, 754)
    3. “When hardened sinners say it, I will fill their souls with peace, and the hour of their death will be a happy one.” (Diary, 1541)
    4. “When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as a just Judge but as a merciful Savior.” (Diary, 1541)
    5. “Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death.” (Diary, 687)
    6. “Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy…I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy.” (Diary, 687)
    7. “To priests who proclaim and extol My mercy, I will give wondrous power; I will anoint their words and touch the hearts of those to whom they will speak.” (Diary, 1521)
    8. “The prayer most pleasing to Me is prayer for the conversion for sinners. Know, my daughter, that this prayer is always heard and answered.” (Diary, 1397)
    9. “At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony…I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion.” (Diary, 1320; also, cf. Diary, 1572)
    10. “Souls who spread the honor of My mercy…at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior.” (Diary, 1075)
    11. “The two rays denote Blood and Water…These two rays issued from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross. These rays shield souls from the wrath of My Father…I desire that the first Sunday after Easter be the Feast of Mercy…whoever approaches the Fount of Life on this day will be granted complete remission of sins and punishment. Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy.” (Diary, 299-300)
    12. “I desire that the Feast of Mercy…be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter…The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion (in a state of grace on this day) shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” (Diary, 699)
    13. “Through this chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will.” (Diary, 1731)
    14. “My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world.” (Diary, 1485)

Man is created to praise, reverence, and serve God our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.
And the other things on the face of the earth are created for man and that they may help him in prosecuting the end for which he is created.
From this it follows that man is to use them as much as they help him on to his end, and ought to rid himself of them so far as they hinder him as to it.
For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created..
The Catechism of the Catholic Church(CCC), quoting Vatican II, says the following: “God willed that man should be ‘left in the hand of his own counsel,’ so that he might of his own accord seek his Creator and freely attain his full and blessed perfection by cleaving to him.” (1730) God doesn’t force us to seek and love him; it is something that he has left us free to do..
The word pray is Old English which means "to ask". If you can ask your boss for a raise, and talk to your guardian angels....how much more beneficial it would be to ask the saints in heaven and Mary and Jesus for their prayers and intercession.
Jesus came to heal the wound of original sin - death.

I posted this comment on another Ex-Muslims video which I will repeat here.
The most fascinating thing about ex-Muslims is that even though they leave Islam, their identity as “ex-Muslim” is still very much centered around Islam.
You just can’t let go of it, can you?
Ironically, Islam still is the center of your existence. Which is fascinating and hilarious

    • @itachi7285
      @itachi7285 Год назад

Islam was part of our identity sometimes by choice (converts) but mostly by force due to being born in the religion. As a muslim you will know that Islam is a very colonialistic cult and it's followers take up many aspects of 7th century arab tribal culture of Muhammed and being brainwashed to think that you will be punished for not following the rigid and excessive rules that govern the most basic everyday things in life.
Leaving it means persecution, disownment and execution. If it's none of these three there is still harrassment by Muslims attempting to bring us back. This is not something that leaves us no matter how much we 'let go' because Islam as a religion does not tolerate apostates and 'letting us go'. This is not a big mystery and you are sick to think the persecution of people for their beliefs (or lack thereof) is hilarious.
The real irony is that muslims like you are blind to the fact that you are so obsessed with stalking us like you are doing with your comments. Why aren't you minding your own business? You try to pull people towards your cult through dawah while we are doing reverse dawah to wake brainwashed people who are already in the cult to wake them up and prevent any newbies from swearing their lives away to a lie.
It seems to me that you are drawn to us because deep down there is a part of you that knows Islam is a false religion and you don't know how to deal with it.

Well, that’s all religion. There are boundary lines when crossed are frowned up in the eyes of God.
I've had a very pleasant experience growing up in Islam, as have hundreds of millions(now nearly 2 billion, hold this L).
Sure, Islam has elements of Arab culture, but it’s not confined to just that. Islam actually is very malleable in the sense that it integrates well in the culture it sits in. For example, Islam as practiced in Pakistan has unique cultural expressions, as does Islam practiced in Turkey.
The idea that Islam comes as a battering rum overpowering previous existing cultures is false.
      Truth is, you’re just salty.
"Leaving it means persecution, disownment and execution. If it's none of these three there is still harrassment by Muslims attempting to bring us back. Chances are you are in the Western world now. You’re not a victim, my friend. You’re free to live your life as you please. You’re not persecuted.
There are many quiet apostates in different parts of the world. I know a gay Muslim and an apostate. Both are living their life just fine in New York. The idea that you are under systematic persecution is a fantasy in your head.
And this was my original point. You’re living in the Western world, free now to cultivate an identity as you wish, free to pursue dreams as you wish, yet you and your cult rather continue to focus on what you left behind. I reiterate, that is hilarious.
"The real irony is that muslims like you are blind to the fact that you are so obsessed with stalking us like you are doing with your comments. Why aren't you minding your own business? You try to pull people towards your cult through dawah while we are doing reverse dawah to wake brainwashed people who are already in the cult to wake them up and prevent any newbies from swearing their lives away to a lie."
Leaving a comment on a youtube page is stalking now? You’re cult is literally going up to Muslims and shoving a mic in their face. Literally wearing shirts that say "ex-muslim" a desperate cry for attention. Projection much?
And your attempt to prevent newbies from converting. That's a losing battle kiddo, and you know it.
"It seems to me that you are drawn to us because deep down there is a part of you that knows Islam is a false religion and you don't know how to deal with it"
That’s interesting, because my thought is that the reason you are still drawn to Islam even after leaving is that you know deep down it’s true, and you don’t know how to deal with it other than lashing out.

The harm it does. As an ex‐Muslim it hurts when people assume that strangers you barely personally know has it easy when there are literally people who are in fear for their lives depending on the rules the goverment has on apostacy. Which part of the harm and danger ex‐theists especially ex‐Muslims do you seem to not understand and take lightly of? In Malaysia, I can't just "move on". There is no moving on bc im living a fucking double life pretending to be what im not and trying while my best to respect my family member's ridiculous beliefs. My whole life (jobs, social relationships, mental state etc.) would basically be ruined if anyone ever finds out as even someone like my mother and sister who I thought of as liberal and progressives start ostracizing and distancing themselves from me just because I proved to them that the theory of evolution makes much more sense than humans being shaped out of clay and animals have always looked how they were since they were popped into existence.
23 years of my life was wasted into fearful religious devotion and indoctrination and superstitions. *Of course* it would be upsetting for people to be realizing most their lives were robbed off for something as vaguely convincing as religion that justifies authority over their entire lifestyle over a stupid book.
Just please don't, hearing the crazy brainwashed Muslims dehumanizing us is depressing enough. Everyone has a different story in their lives. Just bc yours or someone you know didn't end up horribly doesn't excuse you belittling others who had it differently around the world. I'm sorry for the angry lashings and bad English.
