I do, too! They are perfect for relieving the stress of my job! Sometimes, though, I have to listen to them again in the mornings to find out how the story ended LOL
_The Children of Odin_ is one of the best collections of the Northern Myths - very cool that you do this, I used to fall asleep almost every night - for months - listening to Elizabeth Klatt's reading. I really enjoy your voice 🌞 🌝 Already getting sleepy 😴✌️
I’ve listened to this a dozen times and still haven’t made it past the middle of the first story becauSe I always end up falling asleep...which is a good thing. 😄
Thank you for taking the time to read these and I hope you enjoy reading these stories as much as we enjoy listening to them. May you be blessed with 50+k subs before the new year. Good night and great content.
Thank you for taking the time to narrate these stories. I’ve been listening to your bed time stories for a few weeks now and I’ve been able to fall asleep like clock work. Keep up the GREAT work!! :)
My son is autistic and has struggled to sleep his entire life (he’s almost 11) he listens to one of your Norse Mythology stories every night and he always falls asleep within the first 10 minutes. He’s now getting at least 10 hours asleep a night and he’s like a different kid. I have never been more grateful for a random internet guy. Haha.
That’s very nice. I’m going to do the full book at some point. I’m glad it’s helping and messages like this spur me on! I’ve just released an Ancient Greek story about Sparta. He might like that one.
I love this so much for the past week I've never made it past the first 2 minutes. My sleep is so deep i feel fantastic this is a true savior for me I'm so glad I've found you.
Please Sleep Cove, share some peaceful stories from the magical traditional indian tales such as those in Hindu traditions or Native American, Buddhist, Christian or mythical tales from China. These stories would work wonderfully with your soothing voice. I remember snippets of beautiful Hindu stories featured in the film A Little Princess and always wondered what a full story from these teachings would look like.
@@SleepCove I'm not well informed of the specific stories but I would be very interested to see what you find. All the traditional teachings about good and bad are told through beautiful stories that have been woven through history and inspired paintings and even modern society. I look forward to seeing how you bring these to life. Have you seen the film A Little Princess? This features a few tales from India. But the Buddist and Bible story based teachings are very visual and could make peaceful sleep stories in your channel too. Sooooo many to choose from. The Native American culture is also very magical.
Thank you SO MUCH. I had to go to sleep early last night, being sick. I fell asleep before the 1st story and woke up an hr ago, at 2am (now Sunday). Being Winter here, and still feeling foul, I didn't want to get out of bed even though I'd had 6 hrs sleep .... SO, I just started from the start again and got to listen to, and thoroughly enjoy both stories! You are an amazing narrator!!!! 💖 I'm off to find more, to enjoy as I wait for the sun to rise.. or, fall into blissful slumber again, leaving me something to do as soon as awake! MUCH love from VIC, Australia 😊✌🐨
I have been trying to listen to this every day for the last like two weeks and I can’t stay awake because it is so good and relaxing. I just want to see how it ends.
ohmygod I have looked for these stories!! I'm so happy people are retelling these stories even if your pronunciation of some of the names are funny haha. Thank you for this video!!
But the music is so awesome and soothing and DOESN'T overpower the narrator at all. Each to their own I guess, even though going through the credits, etc.. the 'music free' version was the 1st thing, I saw.
You mentioned the other Norse stories, have they been recorded as I can't seem to find them. I love these stories, thank you for your story telling, it's quite soothing. Hope to hear more Children of Odin stories. GN
Ragnarok sounds like a meteorite strike. The wind that knocked down everything, the fire that consumed everything, the people couldn't see the sun or moon, and it snowed for three seasons. They fought and killed each other (out of starvation). Just a thought...
Sleep Cove lol, right. I mean that as a compliment to the video’s purpose. Not what you’re going to hear comming out of the ‘blue corner’ hyping a UFC fighter before a battle, or in and A1 Abrams tank rolling down the war zone.
Here is the version without music: ruclips.net/video/U_xDeAwPT3s/видео.html
Will do!
@Patrick Kelly Stark pp PPP
@Patrick Kelly Stark I must have rolled over on my phone. Definitely didn’t mean to send something rude. My bad. Take care.

Thanks so much!

I will be too, as of now, as I only just discovered this GEM of a channel

Nearly 3 years later, this is still one of your best stories. A great collection of mythical tales. I hope this year you release more on this theme 🙏
Hi. I am remastering them and re-recording the whole book.

I was expecting a Brute and husky voice roughly telling this to me with an unenthusiastic voice, but this is also pretty good
Really enjoy your voice.. Please keep making these
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you so much I love to lesson to one of them to fall a sleep
Love the music!
Glad you like!
Agreed! The music is well chosen & enchanting 🤩
