It's been almost six years and this is still one of the first things that comes to mind when I hatch eggs in Pokemon and god the nostalgia is real.

Wonder trading is out of control these days. You get shiny legendaries so often it's not even exciting anymore. Unless it's one I really want to keep I just usually put them up for dex filler I can't catch or can't be bothered to catch at this point.
Fuck the people that give me untradeable Pokémon through WT though.

Honestly this is relatable on a spiritual level.
Plot twist: the shiny hatches, but the nature is garbage and its IVs are worse.
Well if 1 is to hatch that many then 1 should clearly be smart and get the right nature(im not gonna explain how) after that just max the IVs and EVs

lol i always give away free ralts in wonder trades cuz u wont beleive how hard it was to raise a lvl 1 ralts to a gardevoir and catch a stunfisk and i got 100 ralts but i eventuly gave up.

Ya know I once got a Mudbray from Wonder Trade. She was a breedject since she was level 1. She is still on my team as a level 81 Mudsdale, now waiting to have a shiny of her own. The circle of life is beautiful.

Sora the Fire Dragon You gotta be patient, man. It took me like 2 weeks, and I was going at it every chance I had. It's easier if you have a pokemon with the ability Flame Body at the head of your party, and if you have the Hatching O-Power. You just have to have patience.
I might be biased, but I think normal Bulbasaurs are fine the way they are....right guys? ...right? :(

Not saying Bulbasaurs are bad... just wanted the Espurr to have a nice home as opposed to a swift execution by Charizard's Inferno.Though I would be happy to take some of the rejected Bulbasaurs if this was real life. For the most part I'd take the reject Pokemon if they were in real life, but in the game Pokemon Amie even can get a bit repetitive.

Wolf Blaze 22x Imagine you are a trainer in real life and breeding mechanics worked the same way as they did in the pokemone universe. By the end of the day, you will have I would say about over hundreds, if not, thousands of eggs by the end of the day that you would hatch to figure out none of them are shinies. Where do they go? You either release them or send them through wonder trade. Think about it like this, isn't that like breeding 1000 kittens? What do you do with those kittens when they are yours? You think adoption isn't a bad idea, but the thing is...you have so many. And on top of that, you aren't the only trainer shiny hatching. Do you see the problem here? You are bringing Unwanted animals that only want love and affection...and possibly draw out blood...only to leaving them to die and send them off to random strangers for something else in return.
What I'm trying to say is that shiny hatching MANY pokemon and knowing so many trainers do that already is cruel. And even the fact that pokemon can't be loved unless shiny sounds VERY shallow.

In 2050 all the Earth was covered with a dead Bulbasaur's and because of this air and water became toxic and most of pokemon, especially bulbasaur died. So new shiny bulba's will be never born. Old man, who was killing 50 bulba's a day fot about 40 years understood, that he should hatch violet eggs, not green.

The video is very relatable for anyone that breeds for perfect IVs and/or shiny pokemon. When I started my pokemon X adventure, the second fletchling I found was shiny! It later evolved to a shiny talonflame that helped me hatch thousands of eggs ! Nowadays, it is my sword version, helping me to hatch eggs. I hatched a shiny deino and a shiny frokie with it!
