I conclude that you just tried really hard to sound smart, and this is my attempt at beating you at your own game.

To be fair, the Battle Royale movie felt like an anime with the over dramatic acting and ridiculous "weapons" like a paper fan. There was even a manga that had a full on anime style, with "power of friendship" being a thing that came into play very often.
in some sense you can't really separate anything the japanese do, be it serious or sad, or over the top from being an anime. It's in a way a way how their pop culture works, same with over exaggerations, or over hyping or when it comes to comedy, the straight man routine. That said i do think Battle royale was the best version even if you disregard what's original or not. Sure the difference in weapons was a bit hilarious, here you get a fan , or a spoon. a knife maybe. Oh and you get grenades and the dude after you gets a fucking UZI. in my eyes it's a bit of a commentary about life. it's not fair. deal with it.

Well, at least your empathy is still functioning like a typical human being.
Did you know? Most of the Elites in this world do not have functioning empathy. 98% of people who are considered Elites, do not feel empathy for other living beings.
I have seen first hand how some of these people are. And I understand how and why they have amassed such wealth.
I could never be wealthy or rich with money. I would end up feeling bad for those around me with less, just struggling to make it by week to week. End up giving most that money to help others. I would keep just enough to pay my bills and rent for the rest of my life, and some hobby money.
Otherwise, I feel I am much richer than the Elites and wealthy in this life. I have loyal friends, loving family, and a house I own.
The quest for money and material riches, will eat away at your empathy over time. It is like a disease of the mind.
So remember that chasing after material riches will make you far poorer than you might have expected.
Chasing after non material riches is where it is at. Very few people would honestly teach that. They are all about getting you into the rat race, and lying to you about the truths in this world.
I see what you're saying, but simply being wealthy and having materialistic things that you want are not the only factors that make you lose empathy, nor are do they always even make you lose it. It's the weak ones that lose their empathy. It's saddening that rich people are cruel so often that no one believes you can be both a good person and rich, but you can. I apologize if I did misunderstand what you said, but to me, it seemed like you were saying "Having a lot of money and materialistic riches will definitely make you less empathetic. If not right away, the over time, but it will happen eventually.", and that's just not true. Keep in mind, I'm not saying that it doesn't make ANYONE less empathetic. Just not everyone. And again, I am sorry if I misread that, I'm just explaining for how I interpreted what you said.

I know lots of people with good money who are good people with lots of empathy. But they are no where close to being an Elite. There is Poor, middle class, Wealthy, Rich, Very Rich, then the very few who hoard everything are the Elites.

These people are evil. I would highly recommend looking into the topic a bit deeper if you want to see how a few people can control millions of people.
Oh god, this just cropped up on my recommends, and as someone who has a friend with PTSD, and right before memorial day, this hit me right in the feels. Ben did an amazing job.

The act is so perfectly done, you can actually feel the imminent PTSD after he kills the others. Pretty dark skit.
I didn't know you could make a video that's at the same time so depressing and funny.
This would be exactly how it felt if you had to fight for your life against 99 other people and come out as the sole survivor. You'd have major PTSD and would suffer from a lifetime of nightmares.

The weird shaky cam and the angles at which he filmed it to make it unsettling, the use of close-ups instead of wide and master shots, the cuts...are all very well done.

Looked through the comments, but haven't found the proposition to make episodes about maintenance crew that fixes the damage, distributes loot, removes the dead clones and so on. Usually someone comes up with it by now... which is a decent job until you're either meet players behind blue circle or are too late to leave before the round starts and have to hide it out. Please?
