I kinda was the stranger bringing materials in ark once. My tribe was decently established. Good gathering dinos, working on metal stuff. And we got a new neighbour. A total newb who only had a thatch shed and a tamed dilo, working on upgrading to a wood building. I decided to help out by grabbing the mammoth, getting a dozen stacks of wood or so, and giving them to him. He ran away scared at first. And I realised what it looked like on his side. A stranger from a big "advanced" tribe suddenly rushing over with a giant mammoth without any warning. XD He appreciated the help though, and later joined our tribe. :p
That’s where I am now actually. Literally built my wooden hut last night and I’ve just started getting my first metal tools. I’m getting along okay with my tamed Dilo but there’s this really scary big dinosaur in the river. Four legs, big frilly sail on the back. I’ve seen it hunting and killing things so I’m not going anywhere near it.
@@mikoto7693 yyeeaaa...that's a spinosaur. You're not going to be able to deal with that until you've gained a few dozen levels and thus unlocked far better gear and dino saddles. ^^;; When the game first came out in EA spino and t-rex were basically endgame dinos.

One of my tribe members must have been on Crystal Isles at one point because he gave us a Crystal Wyvern each, either ones he’d tamed as spares or by breeding them using the healing method using a Daodon to keep them alive without prime Crystals. Had to use an admin command on my single player character because I couldn’t go back to flying around the Island with an Argy after experiencing the flight of a Crystal Wyvern. Aside from that I’m playing it naturally. I still love the Argy and use them for crystal/metal/obsidian runs or when I require a precision landing. I’ve gone from struggling to survive on the southern beaches with thatch and wooden shacks to taming, breeding and training my “Caver crew” to go hunting artifacts with. Primarily raptors, Sabertooths and riding on a mate boosted scorpion. I rode a Terror Bird for the lava cave though. Of course the “breeding pairs” stay safely at home in one of my three stone fortresses. Kept in a large roofed enclosure with a wall beyond that to prevent them being detected by clipping through a wall or something. I’m rather proud of the fortresses. Fully walled off with a corurtyard to land in, with a hatchery rigged with standing torches and air conditioners as needed, a workshop, and living quarters/storage room. I have smaller outposts, equipped with a basic set of gear with my old pterodactyls and some Argys stationed as “rescue mounts” for those times when I can recover my old body and mount when something goes wrong. And I’m delighted that my team of Daodon, Yutys and my horde of Rexes kicked Gamma Broodmother’s butt. If enough are left over after the Ape, Dragon and Tek Cave I’ll go back and try the Beta versions. I doubt I’ll ever get to the point of taking on the Alpha versions on my single player character, the tribe on my multiplayer character might. But first things first. The Ape and the Dragon. I hate caving, but the first boss was fun.
So Brit is first to craft, Rowan is first to rage to death, Adam is the first to harden up and take out an intruder as camp mom ( my favorite), and Alan… well Alan comes off as the baby in this series for a while haha. He was the first to get PTSD playing the game from the griefer destroying the camp and mocking his dead dog to then the beach scene. Poor Alan is just traumatized hah.

This was a pleasure. Seeing it all in one go accentuates how Alan is always the guinea pig or the most observant; taking on first encounters with the enemy and testing out the limits of the game. The Camp Mum episode was also stellar.
the camp mom skit, is my absolute favorite, I have done that many a time on 7 days to die. With brand new players, I love doing it. Makes the gam 1000 times better.
I'm constantly being the camp mom in any rust server I play, noobs or not they all just log into this game expecting a cs:go experience and most of them are Downward Spiral 13:55
I love the skit where Adam is playing the home base mom, when I first started playing 7dtd and I had a friend who was just like that, knew where everything was and would give us materials to fix our equipment and told us all how to do things.
That was one of Adam's most bad ass moments, bet he enjoyed that as much as we did. He often gets to play a wimpy guy and totally deserved that one for a change. "You messed with the wrong camp!" Cha-chink BANG! "Who wants cookies?" Brilliant!

Yeah, I enjoyed a lot of their skits, but that one might be my favorite in this compilation. I especially liked how they all seemed to slowly MORPH into their respective roles as it went on. With the "camp mom" becoming more & more motherly & the rest regressing to become more and more childlike. (which set up that final line perfectly!)

I thought of something that helps people who just spawned. A game tracks how long you've been alive and if you've been killed within 30s 5 times you become invulerable and the player who killed you 5 times within 30s has to gift you 3 items that they cant craft/make/get that have some value or you get a unremoveable hat that says "I spawn Camp" and you will be marked until you do it. If you leave the game you are banned for 30m

I’m seriously thinking about it in Ark. Putting myself in minimal gear and weapons to go scouting like that. Just to go and see what’s beyond the little area that I’m able to traverse with relative safety.

I’m seriously thinking about it in Ark. Putting myself in minimal gear and weapons to go scouting like that. Just to go and see what’s beyond the little area that I’m able to traverse with relative safety.
