- This week, I'm joined by the Sinister Minister, Karl Haikara, and The Duke of Metal, Dave Berardi, for the continuation of my countdown of the top albums of 2024.
Karl Haikara, a fellow member of the Horsemen of the Podcasting Apocalypse, hosts the Sol Nox Podcast, which you can find every Thursday and Sunday on Spotify.
Dave Berardi shares his reviews of extreme metal releases on Instagram at @razoreatermetal.
PLUS, in my weekly news rant: Behemoth completes the final step of their transformation the Chevy Bolt of black metal. Toughness abounds on the crushing new Profanatica single. I answer YOUR questions and I round up the latest singles by Sacrifice, Crypts of Despair, Saor, and others for judgement.

Pure 🔥from start to finish. Thanks for another great episode! I lol'd at your description of the new Behemoth song.
Thanks for checking out the show! As far as Behemoth is concerned, I didn't want it to come across as though I was hating just for the sake of it. I'm a big fan of the albums I referenced and still consider myself a fan of the band. BUT, this new single suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks!
@@IntoTheNecrosphereI didn't think you came across as hating on them just for the sake of it. I do agree though. New single (and title) is cringe at its worst.
Accentuated by the fact that the new Profanatica rules!
@@IntoTheNecrosphere Totally!
Good episode dude!
Much appreciated, mate!
Great show! Absolutely love these top albums of the year shows that you do.
I couldn’t get the name of Carl’s #5. Something something Mortem. Can anyone help me out?
Deus Mortem - Thanatos
Liam is correct. Appreciate the kind words too!
@@liamstone6313 Just checked out Deus Mortem. They are just what I needed. Great band. Thanks!
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but where do fans post questions on instagram for the show? I think I keep missing it.
Great episode by the way!
I usually put out a story on a Friday or Saturday (depending on when I'm recording the news rant) with a question box. But you can also just drop me a comment with your question here and I'll answer it next week.
@ cool! Thank you!

You said you can take or leave a lot of black metal bands live. Aside from Heathen Deity, who are the main bands who come to mind who really buck that trend and capture the imagination in a live setting?
Great episode. I always get exposed to new albums through this podcast.
Great black metal bands who bring the heat live: Misthyrming, Abduction, Mayhem (of course), Marduk (when they're on form), Trivax, Panzerfaust, Akhlys, 1349. Those are the first ones that spring to mind.
Thanks. Only seen Abduction and Marduk of those but agree on them. Looking forward to seeing Akhlys, 1349 and Trivax at UK festivals this year.
I"ll add one more to the list of irreplaceable vocalists: Alan Averill. There is no Primordial without him.
Without a doubt! One of the best vocalists on the planet.
