Lovely work! But for anybody who wants to experiment with DLGs, please don't forget that aerofoil sections obtained from technical sources are very impressive on paper, but (almost) impossible to reproduce ACCURATELY [sic] in the real world. Epoxy resin and carbon and whatever will make them strong and light and beautiful, but they'll not be much like the coordinates or templates you spent so long plotting, cutting and perfecting. If the finished wings are not accurate to within a few microns, all the NASA or Drela performance data will be wildly inaccurate, too. So why go to so much trouble? A simple slim, flat-bottomed (gasp!) aerofoil will give excellent results and will be much, much easier to build. Combine this with variable camber and you will get fantastic results without having to work as hard as this talented gentleman. Out on the flying field, you'll still be able to hook thermals and scoot through patches of sink and penetrate back upwind. You'll barely notice the difference. Yes, honestly. Don't believe me? Try it, then! It's cheap, easy and fun! 🙂
Agree Elli, was wondering if there is a difference or not, I think if you are bagging there is not difference, total different thing if you make your wings with a mold. So, wich airfoild do you recomend?
wonderful job! I've just started a build like yours, thank you for all the help!!! Do you mount the wing parallelly to the boom? I am a bit confused with the shape of the bottom side.
The line from leading edge to trailing edge is the center line of the wing. It's better to mount wing at the attack angle of 0.5-1.5°. The angle depend on the airfoil, I think.

Hello ! The airfoil is Synergy ? or Synergy II ? where can I find the templates? do you have a video showing the cutting with hot wire ? thanks so much for this videos, your technike it´s very intelligent

The core root code of this video is 146mm. The reason making it very narrow is to get high altitude for lunch. However, narrowing the cord has the disadvantage of not ensuring strength. Considering those things, I think that about 160 mm is appropriate. The route code of drawing posted on my website is also 160 mm.

What kind of material are using in this video?
XPS (Extruded Polystyrene)Form is generally used for the wing core.
I will post about this soon.
What is the size of gap between the top and bottom templates at the trailing edge point?
It's hard to explain as the gap, but the thickness of the trailing edge I cut was 0.2mm.
