- Mike and his friend Merrick finished 2 trails, Kane Creek and Flat Iron Mesa. Long day of wheeling with great weather. Mike got back to the shop to head home and have dinner. He gets 2 calls, one from Shawn and another from Justin both stuck on Steel Bender Trail. Mike rescued both that same day.

Segment between Justin, Shawn and Mike working on his truck is just pure gold! It is like a bad idea on 4 wheels with 2 guys heckling and Justin keeping the darn thing alive with McGyver solutions. Chain there, random wires there and the darn thing runs... well sort of.

Dude, for as much crap as they give you for the Blazer, that thing is super capable. The big Chonker tires have gotta help a ton! Keep ‘er up fellas!!
Just walks up stuff hey. And what fun would it be to drive the "dream" rig anyway. Unique beats generic. Always something to work on, dream about and get you out of bed in the morning.

Live, observe and learn Justin. With Mike and Shawn, repairs may not be the right way but it will be the best way for the moment... temporarily-permanent. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
The angle of approach and departure at the front and rear of the "deathstar" is above 90 degrees, awesome..

A friend of mine splits the wire making a connection to two ends and it works great for a permanent connection. Hfx NS Canada

FYI, you can pop the lock of the wing window and open it with a small flat his screwdriver or a pocket knife they roll down your window. I had done that multiple times. or keep a hide a key handy or when you get out of your vehicle roll down on window. just for future reference great video keep up the good work

So I learned a trick about stripping wires if you have a lighter melt the end and it pulls right off probably easier than strippers:) old guy showed me that one never mind I just saw Shawn do it lol

I know you can climb - you remind me of the guy who would spend their whole afternoon getting a mates stuck cam out when you weren't involved in it getting stuck. You're just a good bloke.

That's advantage of running a soft top I just unzip a window and boom inside my rig LOL. My old 83 GMC had a sliding glass window and have crawled thru it many times LOL

Don't get the swamp confused with Moab. Nobody goes across the country to off-road your raggedy swamp. Everyone that is anyone goes to Moab to Off-road.

I have a grocery bag literally stuffed with wires,switches,voltage regulators,lights, and 5 battery supplies to run lights on my bikes. I think Mike would love for me to stop by the shop at closing... I'll trade work, and pound a few new dents in his, uh...straighten a few dents in the buggy ;) . What a great video. Rock bouncing and rescues, ending in a sunset view. Yay Team !

Merrick dinger his door pretty good! I did damn near the same thing before, but instead it was a tree stump that crushed my rocker panel and put a solid 3in deep dent. Time for sliders 😂😂

It would be way cool if you guys would get Justin's squarebody in the shop. Not so much to upgrade it. But to do a full prep on it. Fix all the goofy little Mickey Mouse patches like the exhaust and the wiring and whatever else needs it. For the window Paul Cox should have plenty of square body doors laying around with glass.
