I have coveted this gas cap for many moons, and today is the day I received it, and shall install it. What a beautiful piece of metal engineering it is.
Just discovered you on Instagram, I love your bike! By any chance do you have a page where your parts are posted? I’m interested in finding a similar seat for my XSR 😁
Hey FC4M! I think your case may be the only one I've experienced in this whole RUclips unsubscribing debacle. I hope you're recovering well from your accident. I wanted to ask about this gas cap though. Was this purely an aesthetic choice for you? It seems like it doesn't add much benefit aside from eliminating surface area to deal with at the pump. Thanks!
thanks brother! purely aesthetic modification, I don't like seeing the same Yamaha gas cap on so many different Yamaha bikes, I wanted something different.
@@DeNFlix... Yeah, i have to admit it's pretty nice looking, but each fuel refill being an embarassement with where to hold or put the small cap, hole smaller a bit less convenient, and on top of this, a nice fuell smell in the garage with something that won't maintain fuell in eventual bike fall, wich can be dramatic... replacing a truly engineered part for that, even it look nice isn't an upgrad imo too 😉, Rizoma is quit overated.
@@kashubelua Glad you agree, nothing personal against Rizoma, but apart from this petrol cap downgrade, they do have some nice products, but they are way overpriced.
This is not a clever idea, where you going to place the cap while fueling? On your hand! on top of the seat, dripping fuel or maybe on top of the pump! Wow! Very smart idea!
This is a stupid thing to buy I rather keep the factory one and get it painted insread of buying an after-market one and have to use a separate key or tool it really dosen't even look that nice just different and more inconvenient because you have to place the cap somewhere while adding fuel lol🙃
I really don't see the point, where you going to place the cap while you fueling? in your hand! on top of the seat! Or maybe on top of the pump not that clever!

Nicely done video buddy! I love the look of that Rizoma cap too. 👍🏼👍🏼
Such a nice product, and an even nicer video!!! Your bike looks great!!
Really nicely done video dude. Seen your pics on Instagram, damn I want an xsr Soo bad!
Temporary Citizen thank you
Hi,
Could you share the stuff you've installed on your xsr please? Your back with integrated back light seems amazing!
Thx!
very clean installation. nice gas cap.
Well done! I expected audible instructions, but after watching, I don't think they would have been necessary.

Great video!
Did you use the white spacer that was provided at all? I can't seem to figure out where it goes with the instructions.
Nice vid man, relaxing good work. Where did you get that headlight film or lense? That's the right colour yellow i'm after. Thanks
Film is from Ebay, looks for a orangish yellow, works better than a straight yellow.
Love the vid, love the gas cap!... did you have to have the watery background noise though? Had me running to the bathroom every 10 seconds :P
Great movie.
So nice!
Have you wrapped the top tank cover black? My came in grey on my garage metal.
You can buy a black one.
Is that the Motodemic classic flyscreen? Thanks
gosoku2 yes it is! I love it , thanks
Why did you need to reuse the orange rubber piece, doesn't that just pop the door open on the old gas cap?
its in the instructions that way... its a sealing issue.
what is the small allen key tool???
David Rowe it’s actually a torque wrench from a bicycle shop.

I gotcha. It looks like it would go well with your red vinyl covered screen. Speaking of that, are you still offering those?
where did you get the headlight brah ?
J FC it’s just yellow vinyl tint over the stock headlight, 👍🏼
What is the red seal called 2:10 my r6 don’t have it 🤔
Ace G. It came with the kit, not sure what it is called. Maybe it’s not required for all models?
is this for the mt 09 as well ?
Alexander Hauge yes
3:50 LMAO! oh man....wtf??
Exactly, wtf ! Its meant to be an upgrade lmfao.
