Loki Reacts to Disney Plus
Despite his gruesome demise by the hands of the titan Thanos in Avengers Infinity War, thanks to Avengers Endgame time travel hijinks and convenient plot devices for Disney’s bottom line the God of Mischief, brother of Thor, son of Odom - Loki lives on. And he has returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his very own 2021 tv show on Disney+. Set just after the first Avengers movie in the MCU timeline, before all of his character growth, it’s like we get to relive the fun all over again! And this time with Owen Wilson! But is this character rehashing all part of some Dick Richards diabolical mischievous plan? Probably...

Well, Loki is literally dead and in fact his story in the movies is poorly written. It's even good that they brought the character back to reveal him better than in the movies. They complemented his image and the first episode and finally I can say with confidence that Loki is not exactly a villain

Poor inhumans, they were set up for failure from the very beginning. Once Disney got the X-men they couldn’t be rid of them fast enough. They should be in the spot where the Eternals are IMO.
That show had such good potential but they had to cut Medua’s hair in like the second episode leaving her powerless the entire time

When you realize that this strategy was already well practiced by Marvel and DC comics.
Seriously. Killing off beloved characters in a big climatic moving moment, reviving them through weird convoluted shenenigans, then retconning the characters to erase any growths, it's already been done over and over and over again. It's really nothing new.
Edit: I read the comments and it seems that anime and manga are doing this as well (e.g. Dragonball). And just to be clear, I'm not criticizing Marvel Studio's decision to bring Loki back. If done right, resurrection stories can be real heartwarming and awesome.

I think in this specific case, the reason was because of Thor The Dark World. Loki was originally going to be killed off in that film permanently as a way to wrap up Loki's "redemption arc". However, Kevin Feige (in charge of Marvel's film division) decided to include a scene last-minute of Loki surviving and taking Odin's place, in order to appease test audiences. Because of the fact that this was done incredibly last-minute, Marvel had no clue where to take Loki's character. So they decided to make him have an arc in Thor Raganrok that would lead to his death in Infinity War, so that they could use the time travel in endgame as a way to re-do the character's development after the first avengers film, since Dark World fucked it up.
So this whole thing with Loki literally only exists because Marvel fucked up with Loki's character back in 2013 and had no idea what to do.

That's why I don't read western superhero comics. The status quo is never permanently changed. Even the villains get resurrected!

They can change the flow of time to their will and force events to only go how they want them to. That is the definition of predetermining time.

The timekeepers could be lying or the TVA will be irrelevant by the end of the season. We don’t know if that is truly how it works yet. So it’s too early to be like “hurr durr loki screwed up the MCU”
And no it isn’t approval or disapproval the timeline is already predetermined. The timekeepers don’t decide if what you do is right or wrong because they exist out of time. We don’t know the parameters of what choices dictate what is straying off the path. My personal theory is as long as it doesn’t interfere with the creation of the timekeepers the timeline doesn’t deviate unless time travel is involved.

They’ve already decided that Cap’s heroism, Tony’s arrogance and Thor’s character arc were not organic expressions of their own will, nor were any of their choices their own. They were what the Space Lizards decided would be best for them. This setup has already fucked the MCU beyond repair because none of our heroes were doing what they did because it was the right thing to do, they did it because they literally had no choice.
This ends the MCU. How you can’t see that is quite beyond me.
No, the timeline isn’t predetermined, the Sacred Timeline is the invention of the Space Lizards after the Multiversal War, a stupid concept of ever I’ve heard one. Free will and choice is the natural state of things, they exist as a Fascist entity imposing their will on everyone and everything in the universe as part of their grand design to ensure that another war between the timelines doesn’t break out - whatever the hell that means.
We absolutely do know what the parameters of what choices get you melted are, they list being late to work as an equivalent of leading an uprising, so your theory is null and void by the episode’s own admission. Or in Loki’s case it’s…doing what Loki would have done in that situation which, again, was the way the space lizards made him because they decided his life story.

The heroes did do what they did because it was the right thing. They are unaware of the TVA so it doesn’t take away from their actions.
My theory isn’t null and void because if someone is late for work they are taken to the TVA because it might not lead to the creation of the time keepers. We don’t know if every single choice veers off the sacred timeline. We don’t know yet.
Who’s here after finishing all six episodes of Loki & enjoying every episode because there’s a charm to it & of course a very well put together story that felt really great plus the best episode IMO is definitely 5 but 6 was just so cool.

He started as as an arrogant, self-centered god obsessed with getting the Asgard Throne to someone who learned how to genuinely care for others, befriend other people, found what kind of god he truly wants to be, his obsession for the throne diminished and ultimately learned selflessness and how his self-sacrifice will be meaningful not only for him but for every people in every timeline.

Loki's show is definitely going to be the beginning of some really crazy stuff for Phase 4 and beyond. Hopefully it foreshadow's Secret Wars🤞
I've been hoping for that since Phase 4 started, Secret Wars should definitely be the next Endgame-level event with all the multiversal set-ups of Loki and Multiverse of Madness.
@@themadtitan7603 Secret Wars could be the ultimate finale to the MCU franchise in the long term, as that story rely's on characters and plot lines we will eventually see, such as the arrival of The Fantastic Four, the X-men, The Eternals and Doctor Doom's omnipotent and God-like evolution due to establishing his motivations and character, because Doom was a major adversary in the story and could potentially be the MCU's next big villain.

Well I feel like say, the mcu doesn't die at in the next 10 years, then I'd say secret wars would be within 4-5 years away knowing the productions of all these shows and movies that they have to produce so I feel as if it wouldn't come super soon I mean we still also have blade, xmen and fantastic 4 on the back burner, all around that would be the timeline especially since it took 10 years of elaborate planning to build up to endgame 4-5 years would be the minimum.

I actually loved loki, it explored some really interesting ideas about free will and especially for a show its visuals were absolutely incredible

You take one great character in Dick Richards and then make a series of “good enough” parodies where you’re doing the same thing over and over again, making money on the poor anti establishment rubes who think themselves above the generic marvel schlock that keeps getting pumped out. You just slap a guy in a costume put them in the same familiar office setting and write out a script that is basically a template for printing RUclips money. It’s so evil we should turn it into a t shirt in fact you probably already have.

No there seem to be a misconception to many movie fans it has been established in the comic thousands of times that are beings that will make the infinity stone look like a joke as their own personal power dwarf that of the infinity stones combined and another thing that some people get wrong is that infinity stones do not work in a universe or pocket dimension they are not originally from for example if a set of infinity stones were assembled in earth 1000(marvel uses earth to denote their various universes and timeline) and by some mysterious way the earth 1000 infinity stone were brought to earth 1001 those stone from earth 1000 are as good as pebble in earth 1001 as the will not function in that universe since they are not from earth 1001

This is a genius walk through the Marvel phase plan. I love the MCU bte.
First, I gotta say the actor playing Loki is really good. It doesn't feel like Tom Hiddleston, but it still feels like that is Loki.

Funny how after two seasons Loki is one of the best MCU projects we’ve ever had and actually gave him a whole new arc and purpose.
