- Surf fishing in Galveston Texas for multiple species. We caught a ton of different types of fish off the beaches of Galveston. The water was beautiful and the sun was out, which led to an amazing morning of gulf coast surf fishing.

Man I love surf fishing so my daughter can play on beach as well but I never catch anything but whiting and catfish

Is this west end beach? I’m planning to take my son for surf fishing but don’t know which beach doesn’t have a lot of people swimming.
If your planning to go this time of year, most of the beaches are pretty empty since summer is over. But yes, I just like to head west off the seawall and start checking the different beach entrances to see which one has less people.
What is a good beach or 2 to surf fish for sharks in Galveston? Thanks in advance!

Fishing will be better in June! Different species too. Speckled trout,redfish, and tons of sharks all over the surf!
