Now feels like a pivotal moment. Everyone has been leaving Roblox Royale High… and it’s the beginning of a new era of gaming videos. There’s been so much drama in the Royale High community recently and players are simply tired of waiting for a game that never fulfills its promises. In addition, Royale High has treated its creators poorly, and people have begun to speak up.
Therefore, instead of waiting, people have begun to look for new games entirely to hop onto. After all, older games start to feel oversaturated with features and have many inactive users while new games feel refreshing and users want to help it grow. Something interesting I noticed is that different kinds of people leave to specific places. Can you figure out which kind you are?
First up: the roleplayers. These players are the ones that fell in love with making stories on Royale High. Their core motivator is socializing, acting, and maybe even stirring up a little drama and romance to spice things up…
However, with creators getting bored due to the lack of updates in the game, they feel a creative itch to go elsewhere. Recently Berry Avenue has been on the rise for storytelling, especially on TikTok and RUclips shorts. Players say Berry Avenue feels more REAL. While Royale High focused on princesses and pageants, Berry Avenue focuses on homes, daily routines, and school.
Next, the Fashionistas. These players spend hours on Royale High playing the Pageant. They want to show off what they got and put their fashion skills to the test. But the pageant is repetitive and often feels unfair. That’s why the fashionista players have been moving to games like DRESS TO IMPRESS, which is doing so insanely well right now despite coming out only a couple of months ago!!
In fact, dress to impress has surpassed Royale High in search interest recently. Just like Royale High, Dress to Impress has more-human-like characters that look different from typical Roblox characters (show contrast of noob). It also has a very similar moment where your character is in the spotlight walking down the runway, and hey, who doesn’t love that feeling? (side by side). Old and new RUclipsrs have been hopping onto Dress to Impress, so you DON’T want to miss out on becoming a creator right now.
And finally, the princesses!! These are the players who are just in LOVE with Royale High’s magical enchanted universe. I mean, flying, castles, gowns, crowns? Come on!! It just feels like an escape from reality. Luckily for us, new games are coming out to satisfy our magical urges. Even the preview photos just give off the magic and excitement of when Royale High used to actually release new realms.
Since these games are newer, the updates feel more exciting. And Royale High players have realized they don’t need to wait -- they can explore more creative possibilities! So what are you waiting for? Are you planning on being a creator in this new wave?

Yesterday I saw only 6k people playing royale high. Dress to impress has about 50k+ players per day because they consistently listen to their fanbase and update frequently.

Fr and whenever people do try to role play its not as fun as before cause the role-play era ended, we all grew out of it mostly 😞.. I used to role-play daily but now it’s extremely hard to find players that are actually willing to do scripts or anything because as you said it’s now mostly being rich or getting halos :( Another role-play game thats good is enchantment you can check that out :3

It sucks to roleplay if its not on a piblic server cuz i also like to dress up and make characters but can't since all the outfits are too expensive
But then again nowadays when people do see role players they are extra about it remember a time I was role playing with some friends at trading hub and some girl came up to ask “ are you guys role playing?” We said yeah and the person said “ oh no I have to hide from the weirdoes” we were doings simple alien rp and players nowadays forget that rh is still a role play game but they are so stuck becoming the riches and buying overpriced halos
As a 4 year royal high player, I’ve lost all motivation to play it, it never updates anymore and the sets are ridiculously expensive making it hard for new players to have a nice avatar.. and the creator never listens to the community this is sad:(

That's sad. I hope you find a better game to play instead of Royale High. Personally, I'm an Adopt Me player, but grinding for pets is just getting too hard, so I started playing berry avenue and Brookhaven in the past few months as well.

Royale high is not the same as it used to be, I was obsessed with it back then literally. Now it has a downfall? But hey, on the brightside, royale high said they released a new set, but i hope it's not expensive-

I've quit Royale High since early 2023 and left the RHTC but I still watch RH RUclips. RH isn't the same anymore. The devs doesn't listen and care about their community. They want us to be perfect, they silenced us just for critisisng. And then calling their multi-million dollar project a "passion project" is the worst thing that can come out of their mouths.

I think we can all agree that the TRUE downfall is because they practically don’t care. They make us wait all this time for a school they didn’t even release half the classes for. It’s all about farming. You cant play anymore no one role plays anymore or chats, they just farm and get sets. It’s not fun anymore. Whenever I join it’s either a pageant or one of those reused updates. Please remember to listen to your community

It’s sad to see such a popular game downfall that caused so many childhood memories, I live th new set as I was waiting for something exactly like it but my motivation to play the game is really low beacuse there isint enjoyment in a game where it dosent listen to its players

I have so many memories with my friends and my sister role playing and getting excited when we got new sets, but now nobody wants to roleplay because they think it’s weird. Nobody can express their style through sets and outfits because they’re so ridiculously expensive. I no longer feel that excitement when I get a new set, because I spent so long just trying to get a skirt >-<
Royale High really needs to listen to its community, then maybe this downfall wouldn’t have come as quick as it did.
I understand all games end up losing popularity when they get older, but Royale High still has so many things that could have kept us engaged.
I loved rh so much at 2020 or something near that. I never really got rich but rh was my childhood. Theres no other game that just gives me the same joy i had with rh (please dont take this as hate!!). Im sad and disappointed about royale high's downfall. Ive seen vids ab their tweets and im glad their trying to improve.
Royale high was my childhood too, but there's nothing left of the game I played when I was little. There's literally no nostalgia there anymore just dumpster fire

Honestly, i also miss when id see roleplayers roleplaying in the chat but every1 js focuses on halos and stuff. (No hate to the people that do js pointing out what i miss)

Im only 11, but royale high was life changing. Its not the same. Everything os expensive. I LOVED the game when campus 2 just came out. the game is still fun.. yet it is boring and people are getting toxic. I still play it though, because im very patient for it to get better.. but if it doesn't.. I don't think i can stay in the community anymore
I’m 13 and same! I remember when I was younger I had so much fun escaping to the magical world of Royale High, making friends, and role playing! But now that magic is gone. I just haven’t had fun playing it recently. A few months ago I wasn’t playing to have fun, I was playing to get enough diamonds to not be poor. But I’m quitting and looking for better games😢 (I’m still going to miss rh dearly)

Royale high has dropped a HUGE update at (my timezone) 5:00 in the morning on monday even though alot of players probably have school the playercount has gone up by 2000 already i personally think they are making a huge upgrade and the every friday hair thing is also out now theres a red tab in the patterns and they have done alot of the things that they’re players wanted so royal high player count is probably gonna go up in the next week

I tried dress to impress and honestly I still like Royale high more, there's only one thing you do there that's just dressing up for a fashion show and repeat, royale high has a lot of things you can do, people are leaving because of the drama, not because the game is better, I believe they're going back to rh someday when the drama cools down.
I personally stopped playing rh because of the lack of updates, but today the new set is finally out and I'm joining back rh.

I highly recommend y'all join to Astro renaissance,this game so friendly to new players,no more expensive items,the highest price is 45k,heels about 15k sleeves 5k+ and the biggest surprise for me was that in astro renaissance parasol cost only 8,5k and looks much better then parasol in rh(plus it cost 60k) And you can get really gorgeus halo EASY
yess you can literally buy shoes in AR for less than the new bracelets are in royale high 💀

anyways i think we're witnessing royale high's downfall, sadly. however, there are so many more options now than there were during its peak.
also... the inflation is literally worse in rh than irl... especially with the new set being so expensive.
I played royal high, since i was 10 years old the most exciting start when i started roblox. i was a fairy, and high school roleplayer . When it was fun! but now i lost interest. because the game itself, does not have the same vibe. Because everything is so expensive and stupid now.. so i only get on every now and again to dress my character up with different outfits, and not to mention online daters have taken over the game as well. And people who are like in their 20's coming on to the game and being rude to younger players.
Heyy i once joined sunset Island and there was no one there - only me and one more person . Enchantix also got removed . The new school is pretty and that's all about it .

If they just kept working on classes it wouldn’t have even been an issue, but one class and only quest for farming (for a decent pay out) is just so annoying. Even sunset island was ruined because of it, the payout and wait time is just horrible compared to just doing a class…
I used to be a roleplayer on Royale High omg, I remember when the parties came out and they were always filled with people 😭 I miss those times, I can't even rp in rh anymore because it's boring now

I played Royale high since day 1. (2017) personally, after the new school came out, I just stopped playing. I’m sad because I used to have so much fun with enchantix high but it’s all gone…
I used to play this game when it used to be a winx fangame. like only one realm. I remember role-playing as the owner of the dark fairy dorms when I was younger. when I heard that royale high was making a new campus in 2020, I was excited! (I was 14 in 2020 and I'm now 18) I remember waiting and waiting and waiting and didn't get any new campus. when it finally came out, I was so hyped but then turned into actual annoyance. there was nothing to do. they were working on this campus for so long and it's barely finished. I used to be a roblox builder, I started at a young age and slowly progressed into being a decent builder when I got into my teens. I remember recreating the royale high first campus in roblox studio and it was very pretty and more 'realistic'. I'm a slow builder so it took a while but it was pretty. when I saw the new campus and saw how long it's taking them to come out with phases, I knew that they were being VERY lazy. The lobby or whatever you load into, it would take me about a month to make something like that but since they are having multi builders work on it and more faster builders, that would legit take a whole week. nothing more. it's sad to see how slow they are at building 'phases'. it's sad and pathetic. it feels like that they aren't working on phases anymore and just fixing any little bug that pops up. stop worrying about the little bugs and focus on the campus.
What made me leave royale high was the newest school. It completely destroyed what royale high once was. Now you can’t even get a few 10k’s of diamonds anymore, because they removed EVERY SINGLE WAY there was to farm.

Royale high always felt like a big burden to me, I never had time to get ready for new things to come out, updates were repeated, when the new school came out, I was very confused. I saw so many people go with like quests and everything when I haven’t even known my way around the thing yet. Every time I took a break, I kept getting more confused with Royale high in total, I didn’t feel Interested because you either had to spend your entire wallet to look good, or spend your entire life time grinding if you were a f2p like myself, the creator, and other people included in the team barely listened to people’s requests, had drama, and was being overall not very good at the moment, I really didn’t want to be in it, so I left because it just felt like this thing I was forced to do.
So True!!! Royal High used to be fun but after the new school it really does feel like a burden. I haven't played Royal High in a year, I casually check in from time to time but I just get more confused. I miss Jake and the Furries😖

I loved the old royale high, and I leaved it because of the third campus castle. And they took away one of my favorite maps just for a giant castle that has barely any fun in it

I used to LOVE royal high, it was such a fun and entertaining game with a relatively good community. But then they added campus 3, and a bunch of other updates. The game isn't fun at all anymore, I can't bring myself to play it. I'm noticing that this is happening to a ton of roblox games, and I really don't like it. We need to do something.
I'm actually all of these combined!! I play all of these new games to feel satisfied since I've quitted Royale high and it was my comfort game for many years! But it's always amazing to change :D
Yes i literally did this. I’m playing dress to impress much more now instead of royale high. The devs suck, the new set sucks, it’s too complicated for a game (toggles for the new set are absolutely overwhelming and overstimulating and I’m sick of it), everything is too expensive now, is unreliable, treats creators poorly, etc.
they might be leaving, but im never not, i don’t care about royale high going downhill, i still wanna play! you know like how when people quit minecraft but then they think about their pet dog in the game? thats like leaving my royale character alone if i quit, plus i still like playing! anyways, it still is sad tho

i've been playing royale high since it CAME OUT. like before the first school was even implemented. i liked having a game with all of these factors and not having to pick just one. i hope campus 4 brings back that magic i miss from enchantix.
You can make a film where at the end the school is abandoned and the heart statue is covered in vines and cracks with the head severed

Then I used to play Royal high a lot like almost everyday but now it’s different there’s nothing rlly to do so I just don’t play a lot anymore. I didn’t quit it though but Royal high needs to have more updates because it just gets boring. For example adopt me has updates every Friday I think 🤔 so players don’t get bored. If they didn’t they would get bored easily because they keep on doing the same thing
Dress to Impress just added a huge chunk of lore and the players are curious and spent more time there to solve the riddle and the plot twist.

The reason why everyone is leaving is because royale high is EXTREMLY LAGGY NOW, I CANT EVEN PLAY THE GAME BECAUSE OF HOW LAGGY IT IS, I TRIED PLAYING ON MY MOBILE, IPAD AND COMPUTER AND IT WAS STIL EXTREMELY LAGGYYY
The only reason i even used to play royale high at some point was for daily logins, they were a different kind of stress. Im glad i never have to worry abt it now.
I havent even played until some days ago for the hunt event but I decided to check back since the last time i had played actively was back when u chose an element or key?(i cant remember) and you got a dorm room based on what you chose but that was so long ago. I do understand a bit of the frustration becasue after a short break some items would be very expensive and the grind is just a bit to much which led me to quiting but i hope something can be resolved soon(hopefully) because it would be pretty sad to see a childhood game die after all this time
Im the Fashionista, recently i got focused on Dress to impress A LOT so I have quited royale high , maybe in september ill be back for the GoT Set and start my farming again, yes, farming made me sick and annoyed of royale high as soon as the items got WAY TO overpriced this year.....

l miss all of the rps I had on RH. it was so good and know were all divided like im Avatar the last airbender in four nations. None of those games I've played have fulfilled my desires and Idk what to do anymore. Rh was the game I always played. if it wasn't for WCUE and Evade I'd have deleted Roblox a while ago.
You have to accept that dress to impress is a good game but you also have to keep in mind that Royale high is a game with more things than dress to impress, I don't know why people bought it both games
Yes but sunset island was a HUGE part of royale high for so long and I’d say was at least the second most popular realm, when campus 3 dropped the new quests and classes killed sunset because the prices are SO BAD compared to quests or classes. Now people play dress to impress for that instead. Don’t get me wrong I still love RH and sunset island but they really ruined it.

The same "Supporters" of the other games speed ran back to RH as soon as that new set dropped. lol RH is such a gorgeous game, I hope they keep it up and are not just doing this because Kreekcraft made a video about them. Another game that I saw on my recommended games was also "The Land Of Pink Juice" very beautiful game as well, just lacks a bit of gameplay since it is new.
Royale high has been my childhood for so long ever since I made my first account in late january and I started playing around february 14 but ever since the prices has gone higher and higher it feels like i can't keep up with the hype and probably I went to start playing dress to impress while I don't do roleplaying much since fanfiction is my fav but if I ever get interested I'll probably play berry avenue since that's the game my sister and my cousin force me to roleplay in and it feels fresh and I have time to explore new things get amazed by the quality and not get bored but if my obsession over switching fandoms gets in the way I might not have time to play but I like this video and the one click discord I'll maybe try if I get interested of making videos again!

To be honest rh is a game will still be my to go, sence i acutally find it more intresting now sence of all of the quest you can do and the costumizng of the game, theres also a lot of new sets coming and pretty much a lot of things are happening rn so im basecly the opposties of everything here, rh is still even better then before in my opinion
I don’t agree personally. There really isn’t more to do. At least with campus two we have multiple classes, actual homework, PROM, and just sm more stuff to see around the map (same with diamond farming…) sunset island doesn’t even get a comparable amount of money as campus 3 farming so it’s useless now..

I really really miss Royale High. I left for other games because they got rid of the old places. Me and my best friends have great memories doing the fashion shows. Now my BFF hates it and will not play with me. Now I play Berry Avenue, MM2, and Dress to Impress. When I joined and everything was gone, made me want to cry.
One of the reason also why i am not playing is because..i mean we have been waiting for an update for so much time we have been waiting so much time for phase 7 in the new castle if it was out i would still be there..now me and my freinds that loved royal high for rp decided to move onto a new game BLOXBURG!its so much better

lately i only saw like 5k plp playing royale high and when i played it it lag so much. ive been playing royale high for like 3 y now and i have a lot of progress from playing, leven 107 and 100k diamonds but now im playin dress to impress which has like 80k peeps playin it

Exactly, dress up repeatedly and that's it. Yes, I play royal high to dress up but it's so much more better than dress to impress. I like decorating my dorm and writing in my journal and role-playing as well. If dress to impress adds an open world part where you don't just dress up the whole game and you can actually roleplay like in berry avenue then maybe it'll be worth my time. Right now, it's not.👎🏽

for my whole childhood I LOVED LOVED LOVED, the magic royale high created. The magical fairies, gowns, crowns, being a princess everything. I loved the way you can hang out with you friends and feel real magical life. But now since royale high is dying I don’t know if I should even play anymore either. 😢
As a girlie who has been playing royals high for 7 years (since winx fairy) I’m really sad about this, I’ve grinned this game for idk how long and I have the OG MERMIAD SCALES. I wish this game would go back, the first castle, the winx fairy club( de,eyed due to copyright), and the our satisfaction I get from playing 😕
As a person that quitted rh, I super agree with u , and all u said was the reasons why I left this magical game. Plus the sets are pretty expensive, I used to spend lots of money on it , but now , I found other games that are similar to rh does , and is much more cheaper . But I’ll still miss the memories when I was playing rh with friends and relatives…
I have never really been a royale high lover, but I have played abt 20 or so times but that was mainly it, and you know no matter how much people love something... the future will always come to take its place in the present, and we just have to adapt and live with it! The type of game style I have been interested in is Fashionista!!
As a normally mobile player on roblox,i can relate to this and ive noticed that since mid 2023,royal high lags more causing me to lose motivation to play it. I moved on to dti(dress to impress) and is trendsetter,as dti lags less and is naturally more fun.also all the controversy about royal high has also deattached people from the game. Also i remember you from like 2 to 3 years ago when you made your royal high series and i remember watching the premeire for most of the episodes,seeing "Jenstine" on your profile felt like a wash of nostalgia
I've been waiting to play Royal high for a long time but everytime I join it kicks me out of the game and I can never get in this happens to alot of games I played too and am sure alot of mobile users have experienced this too roblox needs to fix this error
I left bc of the new campus, it feels too complicated, and stuff are getting more expensive. I miss the old royale high
I do go back to Royal High but cuz it constantly kicks me off, I've left it even tho it's a game I've been playing for almost my entire life (It feels like)

I love royale high and i used to play it 24 /7 , but after the new school which i would love to join, it got so laggy for me that i couldnt play it anymore so i had to find something else to play. Im playing dress to impress now and i still love royale high but soon even dress to impress will become laggy too
What i hate is how the community of rh is so sad about the price of items in the game like how the bat mo heels used to be 33,000 idk and now since they reworked it, its 70,000. Now they came out w the starlight sneaks and they increased the price for it to 77,000?!?! I am NOT paying 220,000 for a SET.
i have played royale high for four years already and it's such a disappointment to see rh going DOWNHILL. every sesason, they just release the old realms every year which is boring and when they release new sets, it gets so expensive which is why most average players cant buy the new sets. Which is why a lot of players quit. (Btw off topic: i love the series of frenemies and i keep on rewatching it, i wish for a season 2😭😭)
its sad the game is not doing well, even though i havent really played it in a while (i spend more time on fandom or animal rp games lol) . but it is also nice to see new games get opprotunities as there are meny great games in the ganre that royal high was in some old some new. its great to see them get a chance ^^.

A Big one that people moved to (including me) was Fantasia, it focuses solely on RP and has a wonderful Royal environment, while feeling more grounded and realistic that Royal High, yet at the same time having some charm and whimsy of its own
Honestly I stopped playing because the new map. It was laggy, buggy, and unfinished, so there wasn’t much to do. Plus, it didn’t really have the same charm as the first two maps. (I’m a og player…. Like when it was a Winx game kind of og)
I also was sad that they removed the resort map because it was always really fun to run around there with my sister lol. We used to roleplay there a lot.
Edit: Also, no offense if you disagree ofc- but I think some of the new sets are overpriced and some are just….. ugly ngl. Sorry guys. 😔
Me and my friends used to rp all the time in rh but we just left to play in berry ave I miss when rh was fun.
i’ve been in royale high for 5 years but I stopped playing halfway the 5th year because of it’s massive update that made me do so many quests when I just want to do ONE THING. I don’t even know how to use it. It doesn’t even seem like the game I used to play

I’m not a very old player of royale high,I joined about 2022 but watched others play before, I did like that you had to work for diamonds instead of getting everything with little to no effort but now prices are ridiculous, I sold half my inventory to get the whimsy witch boots and they’re the only wearable shoes I own now. I love rk2 though, yes you still work for currency but it’s not so absurdly overpriced and still has a lot of customisation with toggles and seasonal updates! My favourite has to be Halloween

Tips for role players! If you still miss that royale theme like roleplays, check out Fantasia! It’s a kingdom based roleplay with party tents to let you teleport to private servers with different roleplays.
I am one of the fashionista player of royale high, and I LOVED grinding and logging in my account on rh to get my diamonds and play sunset island, rh was always fun, but I stopped playing when the new map come out, it was beautiful, but idk what’s the point anymore, I grind just to get skirts and shoes, I might get back to rh but for now I’m sticking with dress to impress:)

It’s sad because i have been rh for 4 yrs, and i have quited because sets we’re getting more expensive we barely can grind now and it makes it harder for new players to have nice avatars. I’m also happy for Astro Renaissance because it used to only have 100 players or less.
I really like Sunset Island, and I have finally acquired enough clothing pieces to create lovely outfits for every topic. What irks me out the most that on many servers people afk camp on sunset island, and end up winning every round, no matter what the topic is. Plus the stage glitches the developers can't fix.
I tried ro get into RH, mainly because of the princess school aspect, which I absolutely love!
When I saw the price of the stuff tho, I gave up 🥴

i played royale high a year after it came out and leaving it to die just feels so wrong, but right at the same time to me. i have made many friends and spent lots of time on it. i have so much nostalgia but.. i don’t know. no one talks in the new school, they just farm for diamonds. royale high has INFLATION now (well, not really. just wayy higher prices). i am definitely the ‘princess’ type in the video lol, royale high probably was one of the reasons i love making stories with fairies and magical forests, etc. this sounds weird but, i prefer the blocky and simple royale high builds. those remind me of a time where royale high just felt.. happy. the new school looks very pretty but i don’t get the same feeling as before when i entered campus 2 for the first time.
