I'm glad that they gave us the amount of diamonds back that we paid for the items, but it's honestly ridiculous to do this out of the blue without any warning or announcement beforehand.
I have 89,000 diamonds now...........but.....

9:31 the cherry blossom set is a culturally inaccurate, sloppy mix of vaguely “asian” concepts done with a lack of intent to make a set that actually represents a culture, plus the chopsticks in the hair is stereotypical and (afaik) offensive, which is why people take issue with it

The traditional hand fan wasnt all that bad either since the Chinese do use their hand fans a lot, but the rest of the set should even be there!! Where is my qipao? The hanfu?? WHERE??! Also, if they were gonna use Japanese clothing for the Chinese New Year, they could have at least made the kimono accurate.

I feel so bad for the girl that was crying because her fluttering butterfly heels were removed. Honestly, this update was a huge mistake for the rh dev team, they already have people crying about the 2 sets being removed, and the creator of the 2 sets didn't get notified about this. Also, we are still begging for the cherry blossom set to be reworked..Royale High has a LOT of work to fix up...
Fr tho like after the update I stopped playing rh but I always wore those as they were the only good ones I had and I saved for them so much and it hurts knowing what would happen if I still played that game

Used to be obsessed with RH but then everything started going down hill. I don’t think anyone will want to play this anymore if they keep doing this
REAL! I started playing RH a few months after its release and I played for a solid 5 years in a row. I fell out of love with the game because of the lack of updates and content even though I still love fashion games. It's truly a shame that the devs are so incredibly clueless of the mistakes they are making. The least they could do is give Matt the opportunity to rework the sets before removing them completely. It's like burning a piece of art because it doesn't fit in your house anymore. I hope that the devs realize their mistakes soon.

Yeah they removed all copyrighted hairs, winx and monster high. BUT stupidly they kept the Melanie Martinez hair which is BAFFLING
also the melanie martinez k-12 came out in 2020 and no one cares for those hairs anymore its about time to take them down

i’ve been playing royale high for as long as i can remember, and this is super depressing just seeing this golden game fall into ruins because of overpricing, and developer laziness
i’ve actually stopped playing it about like 2 weeks ago bc of how expensive the starlight set was and how there was barely any new updates even though the developers would apologize and make the most blank promises to help make RH better
i’ve started playing Astro Renaissance, a game SIMILAR (not copied) to Royale High, and I’ve also noticed how POORLY RH represents different cultures and such.

fr I was playing RH since 2017. And I don't even lie, I played it since it appeared. it was a regular dress up game where you needed to approach the pedestal with hair go equip it, its even sad that callmehbob deleted the old version of a game because it was sooo nostalgic. I still can't believe its been 7 YEARS! Thats my childhood actually. I don't play it anymore and I don't plan to because it because an unplayable piece of shi that breaks my pc and CPU.

Found this when looking up if you can copyright clothing.
Copyright protects the creators of intellectual property of works of art, which means your design cannot be reproduced or duplicated without your permission. However, clothing is considered a "useful article." This means you cannot copyright the clothes themselves, or even the design.
So makes no sense for them to delete it if there reasoning was because of copy right.
This might depend on what country you’re in. And while an article of clothing generally can’t be copyrighted in the US, you could copyright the patterns used on the clothes, you could also use other protections like patents or trademarks, so there are still a lot of legal issues when you re-create already existing things. I think this whole issue could’ve been avoided easily if rh didn’t accept designs that were straight up copies of already existing designs and only allowed for things that are inspired but not copied directly. It’s disappointing that this situation even happened in the first place tbh

The fluttering butterfly was literally my first bodice! I literally only have *ONE* bodice now because it is very hard for me to do anything on my PlayStation because on mobile my game instantly crashes! I used to be able to play royal high Ipoh mobile with no problems at all!
Now it is so hard to afford anything now.
I wish Royal High gets the update it needs, because it used to be my favourite game.

Nah I took a break from royale high (when dorms just got released, I dipped) just to see THIS!? Not only do they take 2 sets away but I just learned you have to pay for dorms and for new dorms you can’t even reuse items you already paid for!? People spent like over 100k in some cases! That’s absolutely nuts and it’s not like diamonds are even easy to get! I’m glad they gave people refunds but not telling anyone not even the creator is terrible. My friend quit due to royale high deleting her favorite item.. (it had smth to do with Melanie Martinez). The sad part is that they barely even gave her enough gems to make up for it. That item getting removed was her breaking point, so she quit the game due to all the problems she listed to me. (Believe me, there were a lot). It’s honestly sad at this point because royale high has so much potential, and great aesthetics, but the devs absolutely suck at managing it. I get it if they’re busy, but they could at least *update* us on what’s going on.
My FIRST corset and my FIRST heels got removed I played royals high with my friend all th time she got deer dolly heels and corset we saved together it was so fun now I don’t have any of those items anymore
when i was younger i spent MONTHS grinding for them, the sleeves was my first ever item and my first set was enchanting heirloom disappointing.
I gave a little over half of my inventory for the enchanting heirloom corset when it was still here and I had an old account now to know it’s gone I don’t even want to get back I’m on my old account and transfer items over because now I have practically nothing of value

Tbh Royale High is actually broken when campus 3 came out like the dorms update to spend more diamonds on expensive stuff for a nice dorm and some players are low on diamonds but like,spend robux to buy x2/x4 diamonds per lv up or whatever has ruined the game a lot but if you're a veteran in that game or an old player of the game and has a lot of diamonds, you're lucky enough and the new set is kinda expensive in my opinion (all of this are my opinion on the game but I still play it bc I like to grind diamonds and play it in my free time)
I’m a veteran and I’m pretty good at grinding but even I who has been playing for five years has yet to complete a single set that’s how expensive it is and I say for shame

Matt was literally working w royale high since like 2018 and was considered as a developer. He was literally in events as an npc but he was suddenly discluded. I've always felt that matt was slowly drifting away from rh and i thought it was just me but they're clearly showing no signs of acknowledgement to a fellow developer who helped this game to be where it is now (not including the bad.) I haven't played rh for like a year and for me, The new developers they've hired are like so not in touch. Wannabe professionals, Just dropping hints and leaks of updates here and there. Most of them are so young working with a middle aged woman. Why can't barbie just hire someone her age? IK it's seen in talent but it's kinda weird. This is purely my opinion! Plus new devs just makes overpriced sets like gaddamn. We need a sukimeki comeback. Reasonable prices for quality sets ‼️‼️

i've been playing royale high for 5 years now and i spent majority of my time during covid lockdown playing the game and making friends with people in the community. i have to say though, ever since the new school was released, royale high just hasn't felt the same. the updates are underwhelming, the community is slowly diminishing and the game is more about who can get the highest value items rather than the gameplay. i'm starting to wonder whether i should quit because, like you said in the video, the community is in "shambles"

I have been on a rh break for a few months (ever since December I lost my 749 day log in streak I gave up🤭) and I had no clue what to expect for the update or that there was one until Bea posted a video. I read the title and RAAAANNN to rh, when I got there I was compensated for the sets and I didn’t think much of it except maybe a few ppl being upset. However, I was not aware that they didn’t tell the creator not to mention all the other small details like the dorms. I feel like even the “new hair friday” is falling apart too because every time they reuse the old hair styles and just add a different little spin with new art. They could easily take inspo from the roblox hair catalog. What is happening is not an issue for me (other than the dorms) but nothing compares to that halo….idk who made it or why they made it because I thought that the Everfriend was supposed to be for valentines+Easter+spring all in one- I’m not criticizing the creators work of it other than…I want to know how and why they thought of that design. It seems very basic and bland. The flowers aren’t even detailed flowers..it’s like it’s just a child’s drawing of squiggles and flowers and was rushed. They could have at least added some detailed flowers..

(Please read it only takes 2 minutes) I feel like people forget that if they kept those items the whole intire game could have been at risk bc those were not original.
I get it, it’s sad, especially since the enchanting heirloom sleeves were essential for a lot of outfits, but can people really not be more respectful? It’s a low chance royale high could get taken down for having those items but it’s *still* a chance, also would you ask royale high to risk their game just to get 2 outdated sets where (my opinion) they are only useful if used for dorms or just for their sleeves? Instead of saying this is the worst update and complaining, we can come up with solutions? Now that I say it.. I don’t ever see a video where instead of talking about how bad the updates are, they talk about suggestions to make it better…. Idk if it’s just me? Or does *no one* try to make suggestions in these videos? I’m just one person so I’m not gonna say “ALL RUclipsRS DO IS COMPLAIN AND NEVER TRY TO HELP” cause that’s just not true. but we have the control to make this community better, so make it better. don’t dwell on the bad things and complain, try to talk to royale high, or talk to the community. Find ways to make the game better, not saying you can’t make an opinion video or complaining video, I’m just saying if you do, make a suggestion to make the game better. Make royale high a better place you ❤ (trying my hardest not to sound rude or passive aggressive this is not a hate comment) also please respect my opinion (I don’t use fluttering butterfly)

They better do something about the EH sleeves bc I still use those for sleeve hacks istg. I cant do puff sleeves without the puff itself.
I started playing RH a few months after its release and I played for a solid 5 years in a row. I fell out of love with the game because of the lack of updates and content even though I still love fashion games. It's truly a shame that the devs are so incredibly clueless of the mistakes they are making. The least they could do is give Matt the opportunity to rework the sets before removing them completely. It's like burning a piece of art because it doesn't fit in your house anymore. I hope that the devs realize their mistakes soon.

For copyright reasons I get why it needed to me removed, the creator should have been told at least if she wasn't informed. But having a crying fit is a little extra, it's not that serious and we were over compensated.

I just started royale high 4 days ago and I’m level 31. I honestly didn’t care that much myself since I have no heels, corsets, sleeves, and skirts. But I really feel bad for everyone who lost the heels they grinded for.
Matt is now working on two new games, The Fairy Guardians (Winx club inspired game) and The Mythical Guardian, which is currently in development I think
The heirloom set was my dream set almost getting enough to get the skirt just for it to be deleted guessing I’m just saving up for dear dolly

From what I remember, both of the sets were supposed to get reworks (or atleast had rework concepts be created), which was about a year or so ago. So what I’m assuming is that maybe they’ve removed them temporarily because they might try to add those “reworks” as new sets….idk tho.
i mean the fact is they were removed for copyright reasons. And yes its wrong that they didnt tell the og creator.

Tbh I feel like people are overreacting, it got copyrighted and tbh the updates recently, especially the school are really good and detailed, there was clearly a lot of effort out into it and people need to be more grateful. BUT I understand people complaining about prices and Robux sets, it used to be a fun and enjoyable game but now it’s hard to even get a PIECE of a set.
The only update that offended me, was when they took the iconic christmas tree out of the christmas update.
I stopped playing royale high when the new school came out, but I remember using those two sets ALL the time so it's sad knowing they're gone now.

Honestly, not that surprised at all. The devs keep rinse and repeating the same apology, but I dont blame the devs, the dev team from what I know are **Children** hired by ADULTS much older than them. The Owners of the game should be the ones to blame. They make all the calls, all the shots, I get it the devs are not nice but they are young kids who are still learning and trying to understand the world around them.
Now if the Devs arent kids, okay then ignore that first bit ^ LOL
But anyways, they should 100% have alerted the creator of the sets before hand. Should have alerted the community before hand.
I dont really mind the Cherry Blossom Set, I think it more needs an upgrade to the newer "models" they are doing. I love the hairpins, and the fan, to me Royale High is a fantasy game, not a game your supposed to look for to rely on "MAKE IT REAL LIFE ACCURATE!" The more you do that, the more honestly IN MY OPINION it takes away from the fantasy aspect. I like the Winter Guardian Set, the Swan set, all the sets that are original I like more cause no drama suddenly comes around them.
