I applied in Cape Town,South Africa and got my visa for Italy in 2 days. :)
Did you have to go to Pretoria for interview?
@@MissDeeSA No,I went to VFS Italy office in Cape Town and submitted my documents.They took photos and did biometrics.I went on a Thursday and it was approved the next day and it was couriered to me by Tuesday.

If you apply for one country and don’t enter it first or have it as your longest stay, it’s likely that your next visa will be declined or won’t be multiple entry

Hi Khosi, Thank you for this helpful video. Could you help me find the website I need to apply to the French Consulate for my Schengen Visa🙏
So I had an issue with this first port of entry thing - my visa was issued my Spain but I decided to travel to France instead as a first port of entry to the Schengen area. At the airport the border control initially refused to let me (speaking in French), reason being I should go to Spain first. I went to a different counter and had no issues.
So it’s a tricky one!

No you don't need to. You can just mention the countries. Schengen visa allows you to travel there.

Question re the proof of economic means. It states in my documents that I need 108 euros per day per person with a minimum of 972 euros always reflecting in the bank statement. I'm going for 12 days so does that mean I need 972 euros plus an extra 108 euros per day for 12 days? That's hefty for us who has to pay in rands😮

I got a job in German and I was ask to fill a background check form then then the company told me to submit references like company phone number, offer letters and payslips from my previous employer, I told them there’s no way I can get it, since I only do part time jobs here in dubai.
Then they ask me if there’s no any authorized place that can provide it for me ?
Upon hearing that, I quickly went for editing payslips and offer letters.
I was asked to send my original police criminal clearance certificate by post, i send it to them through dhl. Then they told me to wait for the next 10 weeks for the authorities to decide. And they didn’t ask me to pay any money
My question is: 1) is that a legit way of processing employment visa?
2) is it possible to start a process for someone without video or call interview?
3) We didn’t even have an agreement signed offer letter
Pls can someone pls tell me something about this?

no, the uk has it's own visa process and is not covered under the schengen visa

Hey Khosi- I hope you are well. My browser automatically went into Centurion as centre and not Cape Town- how do I correct this because I cant apply now for an appointment at Cape Town because the application was validate (no appointment yet) on the Centurion centre.
Hi, are you referring to the Spanish consulate? If so, they no longer have the Jhb branch unfortunately:) my friend also had to go to Centurion

Khosi I'm 18 and I got R20 000 in my BA and I got a job offer from a professional soccer club in Germany so will it be enough to convince them about my bank statements? I know hotels are expensive but the club said they will cover me with financial institutions
The club should sign for letter of obligation for you then u don’t have to show proof of finaces. U just hwve to sort out ur insurance. The club should write invitation letters for u snd say they secure ur finances
