Not trying to be a safety officer but why doesn't the guy doing the cutting and grinding have safety shades on?....and by the way love how u Gauls have reinvented the wheel great job guys
How about the winch cable catching on the lower bumper area , does it clear on most cars ,, or do most lowered cars have a front bumper plug , to put a pull ring in?
Every company should have one. I want to see how it handles on scene of a wreck or recovery. Suppose you wouldn’t send one to an accident. More of a show truck for those special accounts. 😃
Nice build. That's a lot of weight for a small truck. What are the Dot weight limits for the truck with that nice bed on it? Chrysler must not have faith in thier products. What about those nice Detroit winter's? Let's see how it works in the snow and ice.
Detroit Wrecker ok, is their much cutting involved or modifications to be done in order to completely have it roll off? Or is the winch just not going down all the way specifically for this video?
I actually just got done building a roll off hoist system on my F750. I can now put flatbeds on my truck along with roll on dumpsters, roll on concrete mixers, roll on septic tanks and so on.
@@Flipping_Assets That design might be the next generation. I've seen someone is making tow truck flatbeds that work like that. They don't disconnect though.
Amazing.... soon as I win the lottery, I'm calling you guys...
great job, congrats..... question: does it scratch the pavement when you extend it or has wheels at the end?
There are wheels on the back.
Yes it does
Can you build that with galvanize steel? Love the product.. for transporting nice cars with the grate floor...not so good with cars with no tires
Sue can!
The Bed alone take 1 week from start to finish. We have not weighed the bed. It is a heavy son of gun thats for sure. That bed will last a lifetime!
Detroit Wrecker so you guys make this custom already? How much
How well does the paint hold up tho? Our beds the powder coat only lasts 2-3 years before it starts chipping and rusting.

Wow great truck. What is the name of the band/song at the beginning? Rockin' at work is life!

Last i checked expanded metal is not an DOT approved securment point and I know for a fact that truck with any SUV or truck is over weight

What if the Mustang didn't run? How would pull it up with the low dam?
same way you load any other car. winch but you just wrap the cable to avoid scratching the lip
How many man hours did it take to produce the bed alone? And how much does the bed alone weigh?
-
How much for 1 of this ?
Does the bed come off completely like a roll off truck?
Yes if you disconnect it

It would be nice if you can switch to a tow bed to a dump truck or a cargo van

Single over tire. Awesome. But honestly boys. How feasible is that.
Grids are good. But .. transport and daily. ..
I got a better idea
Dodge should be used to piggy back riding by Now. WTFiat.
