This makes me so excited. Finally seeing a guy in nursing, makes me a bit more comfortable going into PEDs nursing
Hi Owen, thanks for your awesome message we're glad Danny's story resonated with you. If you have any questions about peds home health care nursing we'd be happy to help!
Go Danny! A few months ago Danny helped train me into a new patient. He is a great nurse.
Peds is what I’ve always wanted to do. Next month I start my peds/ob clinicals.
Hope it turned out well and all the best!
This is so inspirational
I’m about to start nursing school ( just finished basics). And I’ve considered home health but I do know I really want to work pediatrics.
I'd recommend looking up jobs in your area, and the qualification they require.
this is what i wanna be for my future career!
He's perfect
He’s so cute
This guy’s is like Malibu Ken went into nursing ❤
Men nurse are so rare ):
Fortunately not as rare as they once were.
He eats very healthy.
Do peds nurses clean stool/ throw up?
ALL nurses should expect to clean up bodily fluids in their career. Whether it is often or only once in a while, it is bound for a situation to happen where a patient suddenly expells some sort of bodily fluid. In the home care setting, the nurse can't just delegate this clean up to a CNA like they can in a facility. They need to clean it up themselves because they're the only healthcare provider on duty. If you are afraid of cleaning up body fluids, then nursing isn't the career for you.
