Ohio 4-H board member and national clinician Terry Myers discusses how to groom a horse for a show. Note: Use caution when applying baby oil to a horse’s face if you will be showing outdoors in the summer, as this can cause sunburn.
Cornstarch or baby powder are great choices when using a powder to whiten your horses legs.

Don't take the whiskers off the eye area! They protect their eyes.
And on the nose. In my country it leads to disqualification if you shave off the whiskers on the face
