Why are you comparing this guy to Vic Wooten? This is Norwood! If you aren't happy with Norwood on bass you're in the wrong place, go find another video! And some soul!
Well did you notice he is doing a Larry graham thumb plucking technique, way different from Wooten's style. It is quite obvious that he is not influenced by Wooten and Victor gets enough respect from many musicians around the world. Not sure what you are trying to prove or say with this comment.
Well, he didn't say Graham plays better *all around* than Wooten. That would be kinda silly. He's just talking about thumb picking (not thumping). But still, once you get past a certain level, debating who's best is really just a matter of opinion. Obviously, Wooten is a virtuoso and one of the best ever. IMO, he isn't the best technician at *every* technique, so I don't think it's ridiculous for someone to say Graham is the "best" thumb picker.
pfffff what an irrelevant coment, and no, Victor doesn't do it better, he does it the way he does, maybe more technical but that doesn't mean better... Victor himself will be the first to say that he doesn't do it better..
Norwood Fisher is a total badass. Also probably the first bassist I saw playing a Warwick back in the day.

Love it, but I wish there wasn't so much feedback from a bad ground.

He loves his pot

‘Wood has been sober for many years.
Playing the bass with a pick is like playing the bongos with drumsticks.
no, fingering and picking both have their time and place
