Whoa I didn't even know he produced that record.. Super dope
This is what a real producer actually is🔥
man, the amount of work that goes into this great production is outstanding. Must've been a bitch to mix. But seriously tho. all those producers who brag about being able to make a beat in 15 mins need to see this.
if you're only familiar with Hip Hop this would look complex probably. Electronic music can be "worse"

ECNeeba what software/DAW is he using?
Zuhal Durani I have no idea, it looks like pro tools. But I have seen other videos of Dj Khalil using reason when making beats

isn't there a part 2 to the Khalil and Guru interview though?
the programmed drums with live drum fills is such a genius idea. I think alot of kids get wrapped into the fl studio and quantizing stuff and really lose a bunch of authentic feel. but like he said the programmed gave it that bump and the live gave it that groove. Genius
Now THIS is a producer
The attention to detail and work put into this one record is amazing. Eye opener.
I like this guys work. Really insightful to understand just how much work and thought goes into it.
