I agree the replay value is a major reason I love J. Cole he is the master of making you replay each song
Honest to God the man has figured out the cheat codes to how to make us replay his tracks.
I think its the point that he makes his own beats and writes his raps, same as hopsin. The music is coming straight from their thoughts and made into reality. Artist like these guys have pure talent.

What I really loved about the song, is the end of the 2nd and last chorus was a cut off of the phrase "Now I know why they call it blue-(Yeah)"
This can be taken in 2 ways:
-This phrase sounds like it'll end with "blue moon," but cut off with the ad lib. Blue moon refers to a rare occasion/night. Could be connected with the last phrase of Cole finding his friend too soon (hence when he found his friend was on a blue moon)
-Blue is slang for both 30mg of Oxycodon and 1mg of Xanax (both medication are blue), and possibly can stem to being sad or "blue" and can possibly result of taking the medication.
Let me know if there's more layers to this.
