Mergim, just a suggestion: please feature the Christmas lights along Ayala Avenue at nightime, when all lights are on. Only snippets are shown in newscasts. Perhaps an extensive feature, I just think plenty will be interested to know the extent of the lights. Include also the ones in Ayala Triangle. Just a suggestion though. I love your vlogs. BGC buses have been around for several years now. Nothing new except the new routes and extended routes, hours including weekend and holiday hours. They try to make it convenient and accessible to everyone living in the area as well they are trying to copy the transportation system they have in some U.S. cities and in Canada.

There's a new intermodal terminal in Makati that was recently opened called 'One Ayala Terminal' which I think is right below that One Ayala Mall right at the corner of Ayala Avenue and EDSA. It serves as the Ayala stop of the EDSA Busway system. The One Ayala Terminal is a transport hub offering three terminals that serve southbound buses, PUVs and modern jeepneys.

The road under the walkway is called Makati Ave and not Ayala Ave. You can ride a jeep with route Washington - Ayala to go the the bus terminal. From there, you can now ride the BGC bus going back to BGC. Look ko the North route (till Uptown) or Central (till Market-Market) or Upper East (till High Street) or Lower West (will past the side of High Street).

Landmark’s basement has a large food court and grocery. Glorietta’s food hall has a lot of fantastic food selection. There’s also the Green Frog hybrid bus from PITX, DFA, Mall of Asia with several stops in Makati (along Buendia & Ayala) and BGC. The Beep Card also works in MRT, LRT and several northbound and southbound EDSA buses.

    A few comments:
    1. Bgc buses tend to have a lot of passengers during work days. A lot of folks do know about them hehe
    2. The walkway you stood on (between landmark and greenbelt) is over Makati avenue. Which does connect to Ayala avenue
    3. Beside greenbelt 5 you can hop on a bus that goes to Ayala town center (another mall) in Alabang. They accept your beep card :)

That bus route is just a stop gap. A BGC-MAKATI-MOA subway route was first planned but they finally decided to build first the Metro Manila Subway from Valenzuela to NAIA passing BGC, McKinley Hill & Ortigas which is under construction now. Therefore the subway connection of ORTIGAS (2 stations) & BGC /McKinley Hill will come first (before 2026) before the subway connection of BGC & Makati. However, the Makati SUBWAY which is under construction too will connect the Western end of Ayala Ave (Buendia) to Guadalupe & northern end of BGC

─ Beep has an app, you can check and top up your credit using your phone's NFC and pay through Gcash or Maya
─ Beep also works with LRT and MRT lines. Some stations are connected to more malls you haven't explored as of yet.
─ Some convenience stores can top up your card and some even accept your card credits as payment.

Basically the trip from BGC to Makati and vice versa is now available for just 13 pesos. And on a weekend, you can easily use the BGC Bus and drop off at Ayala Station, ride the MRT there, hop off in Cubao Station then boom, you're in Cubao and you can comeback to see what you previously wanted to visit there. All the CBD's are interconnected via MRT-LRT so if you really want to saved some cash to increase your revenue from bloggin then commuting is the key BUT on a WEEKDAY please keep in mind that 6 AM-8:30 AM and 5 PM - 9 PM is pretty much the RUSH hour for this public transportion and my oh my, I'm sure you know how frustrating the rush hour in Metro Manila is haha.

Once they have the subway going, it’ll most likely take 5 min from bgc to Ayala

From Uptown mall You can try the Kalayaan avenue route going to the entire stretch of Ayala Ave. just cross the street from Philplans building about 5 minutes walk from Uptown and ride the Shuttle van going to Ayala the opposite route takes You all the way to Antipolo City

Hey! Thanks a lot for sharing this. I usually take the UV Express to get to Ayala and all the malls there but they removed the stop going to the malls already. I could try this route but it would really be a long walk from where I live (I live near your place, it’s Makati & Taguig’s border already).

Mate, You can also use the Beep card to ride on MRT & LRT to go to the nearby Cities, like Ortigas Center, QC, & Manila Divisoria.
