Very long shot as I have nowhere else to ask, Does anyone know how to remove the annoying high pitched beep on this radio,? I’ve tried hunting around for the beep circuit, i found a 10uf cap that I thought might be it, but disabling the cap turned the beep into a double twin tune beep ?? Very bizarre

Ok I found out how to disable or switch beep, Front middle of main PCB there are pin headers, on the left is the first 5 pin header, first pin of next pin header is a blue wire, cut this wire to turn beep off, or switch blue to make beep switchable, infront of blue wire is C134, you can also increase decrease value of this capacitor for beep duration, Right next to mic socket PCB is R265 220k, Increasing value changes beep pitch, 1.5 meg ohm is much better, Hope this helps
