    I always look at a room as where I sleep change clothes that's all. I don't entertain on a cruise. I'm on vacation. I have had a balcony room. It was great but I think a waste. I would rather spend the monies on excursions, drink packages etc. Your room is great for me.

    That looks really cozy, especially with the mood lighting! I did notice from the deck plans that there are a lot more balcony cabins than indoor cabins. So I wonder if they'll oversell the inside cabins and many passengers, sorry, sailors will get upgraded upon arrival?

    It’s actually quite well done, and has some very cool features. But, it’s pretty tiny. My husband and I have only stayed in an inside cabin once. It was on the Celebrity Solstice, for a 7-day Alaskan cruise. I wasn’t too keen on the idea of inside cabin, cuz we have friends who always cruise on a budget and I’ve seen their inside cabins and was not impressed. However, the inside cabin on the Solstice was fantastic. Much more room than the friends we traveled with who had a balcony cabin. And the bathroom was 3x as big as the one you just showed, and bigger than our friends in the outside balcony cabin. It was a great place to read, watch t.v., and sleep…so quiet! I think the Solstice is a relatively new ship, and we got lucky for it being our first time in an inside cabin. Thank you for this tour! I’m thinking I’d really like to take a cruise on this line!

    $1400 for that cabin is expensive and over priced IMO for a 4 day cruise. I pay 3K on average for a 7 day in a Havana Cabana on Panorama out of Long Beach but it’s a Cabana in the Private Havana area. So almost I’m paying the same per day rate as you for that interior $360ish/$428ish.

      @@Thewootanglife Its simple, I don’t see the bang for the buck. And Hard Rock hotel is not what I would consider a legit boutique place to stay either if you’re making the argument that Virgin Voyages is a boutique brand. If it’s trying to be that then great but as a boutique brand it shouldn’t compare itself to high-end brands like Viking, Cunard, Seabourn, Crystal or Silverseas IMO.

    • @loungelizard1975
      @loungelizard1975 2 года назад +3

      @@Thewootanglife There is no such word as Kool without aid and I’m not the only one not drinking the kool-aid. Second bang for the buck is a value that applies to all brands irrespective of budget = value + quality. Other brands across the price board offer bang for the buck that can be measured. From what I have seen so far Virgin does not deliver. One ☝️ tiny pool? No drink package, $1441.00 for an interior cabin on a 4 day cruise and what exactly do you get with that??? Specialty dining? Seriously, that’s your pitch? Ya, that’s a hard no for me. Not when I can sail for $1441 in an interior cabin on another line for 4 days and get so much more swag & perks.

    I'm confused. Your title is "Sea Terrace Inside Cabin." A Sea Terrace is VV talk for a balcony, and obviously this is an inside cabin. VV also has more than 40 cabins just for solo sailors, so that can be a great deal if you are traveling alone. The cheapest cabin on VV is the solo insider. What you get with an inside cabin depends greatly on the line. We've been on lines where all "normal" cabins were the same size--the difference was whether you were inside, had a porthole, or had a balcony. We've also been on lines where the inside cabins were VERY tiny. You can usually get the square footage of the cabin on the website; usually balcony cabins include the measurement of the balcony in that figure.

    For someone frugal like me who is used to the bare bones below the waterline inside cabins on Carnival Fantasy Class ships, your cabin is a Palace. Except for Alaska I usually go for inside cabins because there is nothing to see but ocean and I usually only sleep there. The Carnival beds were always good, the bathroom was tiny but tolerable and of course the cabin was clean, just not as roomy or stylish or had the amenities, like a fridge as yours has. That's really impressive as the lowest priced.

    That may be the cheapest cabin for TWO people cruising together, but if it's only ONE person cruising solo, then the cheapest cabin is the SOLO INSIDER. If a solo cruiser books a regular inside cabin (the one in this video), he/she will have to pay the single supplement, which is usually the full price of two people in the cabin. I thought it was important to make this clarification.

    Just returned form the Scarlet Lady adults only cruise in the Caribbean and I must say this is a fantastic cruise ship. No kids, no strollers just good adult fun with a very sexy vibe. Very "open guests" and totally non judgmental - nuff said! Great food, accommodations and service with a great mix of people of all age ranges. My god so many thongs/g-strings in the pools, hot tubs and spas but hey its for adults only. There is sun deck in the rear of the ship for topless sunbathing. As with any cruise, alcohols is a big money maker so if you're a hard partier then be prepared for a significant bar tab at $13 per mix drink/shot although some rooms are fitted with a few bottles initially. Many bars and lively night life but the night club closed a bit early for us at 1am.

      No cut and dry answer for that. Too many factors

    It’s not “sea terrace”… that’s virgin lingo for balcony cabin. That’s “insider” and the actual cheapest are tiny 110 SF “solo insider” rooms with only room for one person.
