That's so awesome. There was something really special that I think everyone going back to the movies for the first time felt. That unspoken and silent connection between everybody seeing a newly released movie, and then especially that they are all so passionate about because everyone in there opening night in imax paying higher price is THERE because they REALLY love the mcu and spiderman, and all that has been built.

“Miserable” Or they understand that cheering isn’t something you do in a theater…Infinity war and endgame got this whole “cheer every time something happens” shit popular. But that’s not the actual theater experience. It’s silence. Complete immersion in the film your watching. That’s why you always see the whole “be quiet and silence your phone” at the beginning of a film. Any outside noise is a distraction. Phones, babies crying, talking, or a bunch of idiots screaming at the top of their lungs because something cool happened, and can’t even hear it because their so busy screaming. It’s dumb.

Unfortunately, there are still a lot of people who doesn't know the character. They only know the ones in the movies, especially the MCU. I have close friends and relatives who didn't see the series. Some of them only remember Daredevil as a superhero movie with the Evanescence soundtracks than his blindness and abilities. They even have no idea who Wilson Fisk/Kingpin is when he appeared in Hawkeye. But a friend of mine happened to watch NWH in a theater with loud cheers for Matt's appearance. Now, people are starting to know Daredevil (or at least became curious), and I just hope Marvel Studios won't change him much from his Netflix incarnation.
I left watching daredevil at S1E9, where fisk has daredevil by hands and doesnt even think of removing his mask to realy see he is a lawyer that was in the opposition of his case. Such a disappointment

To hell with that crowd. My experience, there was a lot of cheers, gasps, and claps. I wanted to reach out to the theatre screen and hug Charlie, knowing that there was spark that he would continue his journey as The Devil Of Hell's Kitchen. I want to see more of him and the character. There is a lot of passion that he manifest for the character. He shows that in spades.
The audience when I saw it was SO dead. It was only the 2nd day of it being released and yet nobody seemed to care, even when Tobey and Andrew showed up. The loudest reaction the whole movie was just a few laughs when Osborn said “I’m something of a scientist myself”

When I saw Matt appear on screen and sit on the table my eyes watered from excitement for a solid 5 minutes, and when he caught the brick I went nuts. The wait was worth it. #SaveDaredevil

It's silent because we want to hear and focus on his scene, so some people would probably be annoyed if someone make too much noise. Boy, I was on opening night December 15th and the whole damn theater exploded! Only true fans attended premiere and knew very well who Matt Murdock is.
I can relate. I watched No Way Home twice. In the first viewing, people were screaming their heads off at the appearance of Andrew, Tobey, and also Charlie. I absolutely had a blast, and it was nice to be part of a group of people who celebrated comic shows as much as I do. During the second viewing however, people were DEAD SILENT. Full theater. No one cheered. No one gasped. I can't even feel the excitement. Absolutely boring, and dare I say appallingly boring crowd. Keep your head up Charlie. We support you.
