    Let not my corpse rot in the Necropolis
    Let not my crimes be raised against me whilein the earth
    Make my flesh and bones safe from maggots
    And any false god who trespasses my tomb
    You whose heart has been seized from thy breast
    Save me from the ravages of Decay
    The Crawlings Fiends who take away limbs
    Corpses who deny the inevitable truth
    The lifetime of Osiris is the sky and theirs is the ground
    Save me from those imprisoned in the Duat
    Who know not yet they are already dead
    Save me from the rotting dead
    Who sleep inside their corpses
    Whose breath becomes fire inside their water
    At whose burning the sea rises at dawn
    Grant me the immolating Flame
    Burn my Sarcophagus
    In opposition to the Lords of Eternity
    I beg you
    Prevent my corpse from putrefying in the Realm of the Dead
    I burn

    Ruben, please do Nile - Cast Down the Heretic. One of their best tunes, really. The solo will make your head explode, so cool it is

      If he thought this song was too chaotic he sure as hell won't have an easy time with "Cast down the heretic" haha. For sure one of their best songs though!

    • @draadhaai
      @draadhaai 6 лет назад +1

      That might be a good idea. I would also try Lashed to the Slave Stick. Straight-forward, not as chaotic but more like Devin's wall of sound.

      If you want people to get into Nile give them the more palatable and less complex songs like Kafir, Evil to Cast out Evil or Call to Destruction.

      Nicolas Cage agreed, better to get into their general sound before getting into their more intense stuff.

    Nile is not a band you get into on the first listen. It takes time to get it. Once you get it, they become the best band on this planet.

    I totally agree with you in this case although Nile are fantastic musicians. I really like your channel as much as I like A&P Reacts channel too. You are so open minded. And I’ve discovered so many fantastic bands by watching your channel. I really recommend to you a fantastic and underrated band Cypecore. They do postapocalyptic Metalcore music and are like me from Germany 🇩🇪. Their newest song is called „The Alliance“. I would be happy to see it on your channel. Many greetings to my neighborhood the Netherlands 🇳🇱. There ist hope. We are the Alliance. We are one. 🤘

    Sick band, all their songs about ancient Egypt. Some of their older stuff is really good but after a few albums theyre pretty formulaic. Fun listen from time to time though.
    As I look through your recommendation comments, I see people are just recommending the same technical death metal stuff over and over. Extremity for extremities sake. With that in mind, a recommendation. Botch (RIP) ruclips.net/video/mjI5znoKko8/видео.html

    Good players no doubt, but didn't like it either. I like to have good melodies or riffs even if the song is fast. This is of course subjective what is good, but for me this just didn't do it. Also constant fast and heavy songs don't usually work for me so well if they don't have any contrast. Heaviness kicks in better if there is some contrast to it. There are of course exceptions to this, but I like for example how Opeth does this. This just makes me feel numb. But that is just my humble opinion. Also the video was a bit comical.

  • @6lillium
    @6lillium 6 лет назад

    Not for me. Heavy, yes, but for me that's not enough. Wasn't a fan of the vocals either. But, hey that's just me. Obviously, lots of people like them.

      No it's glam with meth!

      No wonder some can't determine what a woman is these days! 🙄

      you have to learn about metal if you think nile is just death metal@@saintdeathangel

    • @saintdeathangel
      @saintdeathangel 6 месяцев назад

      @MetalDeathHead whatever...
      You all come up like I say with this and that and new labeling and categories etc
      These bands these days are try hard and just screamers and growling thru toilet rolls and it's that "ORRR EEE ORRRR ROHHH ROOO RAHHH REÈEE" sounding crap and that's deathmetal?
      I'm sure that even if a demon exploded from the ground and started howling some ancient Aramaic shit ...it would he at least coherent .....these days some bands that beat and scream like their meat tube got dipped acid and they acted all bad ass means that's the new ? Whatever ...trust me there is a "label" for it !
      A category!
      Death, napalm death, deicide etc they didn't label themselves!
      Oh but now days bands do!
      Cradle of Filth, Dimmu borgir or whatever you call them etc bathory or what even
      Makeup clowns that think that's metal? It's glam rock ! Oh look at me I need to have an image ...Nile just wears tee shirts and does the thing they like "ancient religion's and middle east and Egyptian culture" .....other bands need that production of me at the mic with that I'm bad ass look imagery and some anger at? Well they're always angry!
      Bands used to have to do such for MTv videos...now they keep doing it like retarded pansies doing selfies all the time thinking social media needs to see and hear about every 20 minutes of their lives! All of a sudden everyone thinks they're jersey shore! 🙄 and these days bands lost the notion of what it was to be such! Now it's black make up and stupid let me walk thru the woods and screech poetry or fake religions made made up and call band members character names ! I bet their fetish is also anime! 🙄
      Most bands don't play with 75 thick E strings at Drop A tuning on a regular 6 string...no they go all melodic crap with an 8 string because they can't do otherwise and sound as malevolent!
      That's technical metal ! But no! If they don't follow the styles you people make up then it's tech death or some crap?
      That's like saying nostalgic is new and the old stuff is state of the art!
      Bands need to class themselves and yet Nile and bands like cannibal corpse etc have been around since the 90s etc but because some bands been around since may 99 they're the new "categorized" bands?
      And I don't know what death metal or metal is?
      Please pal! I've been to a megadeth concert when Poland was still with them!
      I've been to a Death concert when their 3rd album was released and they were still touring their second one and promoting the 3rd!
      Where were you? I'm 51 years old...I've hit the scene and listened to many bands and yet it's funny...us older farts don't know this and that but you put us In a room with a busted rotary on a rotary phone and we could still dial with the damn thing on a land line..God forbid you get no signal on a cell phone and you couldnt call jack!
      🤣🤣🤣 yeah. You go ahead and call it what you will ....experience beats ideology always!
