Nice refreshing review! So many people slate the Disco 3 for being unreliable and expensive to run. But look after them and they won't go wrong. Service them regularly and they'll last forever.
Subbed... excellent practical review. Long considered one even for Ireland and the associated running costs🙄... thought you were a tipp man but then I spied the sea😊 brilliant vid 👌
When there is no deprecation / interest ( if someone is not buying a car on credit ) it works out quite cheap! Parts are cheap / servicing costs also so it’s a win win all round.
The channel 'LR Time" work on the car themselves and only God knows how they put up with the car! Land Rovers bankrupt you 1 day before they make you consider suicide. Also a Discovery is better than a Land Cruiser of road? That may be true but only for the time that the Discovery is working. Regardless of where in the world you lived which car would you trust to keep getting you where you needed to be....?
I've owned my 2006 disco 3 for 10 years and it's never let me down, and it's done 140,000 miles now, those who say they're unreliable and rubbish, are those who buy them on a shoe string budget, and can't afford the maintenance
That's unfortunate. We've had this Disco for 3 or 4 years and never gave any bother really. An odd small thing here and there, and passes the test first time every year. It covers about 10-13K miles per year.
Best review out there for someone who is using the vehicle day in day out just about to purchase one 👍
Thank you very much Robert and glad you enjoyed it, remember to like and subscribe and have a look at the other videos also to see what you think.
"easy to use steering wheel" + "not the poverty spec" I love it :)
Real world review indeed! haha
Just got mine and love it same spec as yours just I have black leather
They're brilliant for an old car! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Im a D1 300tdi guy...just been given a D3 not working....ive got it going and about to fit a new handbrake module as its the only thing not working.
They're both nice machines!

Well spotted! County sligo myself, I hope you do enjoy the videos, more to follow soon!
Never heard a disco described as cheap to run before 😂

Mine has just broken its second mechanic. They just dont phone back
@@1srowlings I thought you were gonna say that they don't make mechanic's like they used to...!
@@roderickjones7479 They have to “run” the channel, thats why. Disco 3 is no expensive to run than a Bmw. I have both ;)
Keep in mind for a Landcruiser same year you would be paying double the money, just because of the name
Absolutely, and nowhere near the performance or comfort. (I've had Land Cruisers in the past and they haven't been the most reliable).
Great start, you need a Mike
I think it’s the editing software as I’m using quite an expensive mic, I’ve changed the software now so things should be different ;)
@@GreenOval_Adventurers keep up the great work.
Great Editing 😂
Yes a good solid 3 minutes 😂
@@GreenOval_Adventurers maybe chop off the scuffling at the beginning and end but you have a good camera presence 👍
Biggest load od Rubbish Solihull put its name too . D4 was slightly more improved .
Disagree! Great Vehicle... Honestly, and I've had a few along with many other Land Rovers...

I had one of these, and it was utter unreliable rubbish
