I still watch your vids and a handful of other channels to see what high priced packs I'm missing out on.
This was probably the best hobby box I've seen (other than guys that open 100s of boxes).....I would be so happy, if this is what my box turns outbetter! P.S.everyone is beating up retail, but I opened 2 blasters and got 2 numbered cards, an auto and a negative refractor......definitely not a terrible option for us people with shallow pockets! And the monster boxes will be even better!
I only like watching people open packs, sometimes I get some Allen and Ginter blasters for fun. Money ruins everything. I play Magic the Gathering and at least I can play a game with my Luxury Cardboard Rectangles lol. I feel you and your struggles.
Hey man you killed it IMO other than the auto ..case hit Elly ..case hit relic /50.. shohei phot variation and a shohei buy back card …guaranteed to get 2x out of that box …I saw 10 blasters rip today and they got 1 numbered card ..I’m staying away from those myself for first time in years

People are complaining too much. Just enjoy the experience and have fun with what you get. You can’t get great cards every time, they wouldn’t be rare. Maybe the hobby is changing or evolving. Maybe it just grew.

It's not just ROI. I don't sell much, though I do trade. But I also build sets. That adds to my enjoyment of it beyond selling. And it's just FUN to rip cards. But you can't have fun just ripping cards now because it's too pricey. Fanatics killed the fun of baseball cards.
You had a great box with that Elly case hit and that Ohtani image variation! But I do agree 100% Fanatics is ruining the experience of ripping packs by jacking up the priece. I was originally planning on ripping an entire case of chrome blasters but after finding out they increased the checklist to 300 cards and raised the price to 40 bucks im gonna pass on that.

I bought the relic, at least I know what I'm getting. The fact they are going for $600+ - on eBay now, think I made the right decision.
I think cards in general are out of control price wise for your return. It kinda sucks for the young kids wanting to get into the hobby. It's almost turned into pure business. Thanks for ripping it buddy.

You can buy a hobby box of chrome German soccer for less than a 100 dollars. My point is the cost to produce these cards is not the reason they have gone up . Corporate greed !

The price but mostly the valve has turned me off to buying any fanatics/topps product. They want me/us to spend our hard earned money for two guaranteed fuchsia wavy diamond reversed refractors cards and no auto. The chrome $500 (2x auto 12 card) box is insane. I can get me a trout auto off eBay instead and have money left to get some gas for my car. Why not a No fanatics/topps product and everyone buys (Panini/Donruss) or just save your money. When they start losing money they will lower their prices and add more valve to their product. it's an item/luxury we don't need to survive and this should also stop the scalpers buying up all the product at the stores.

The hobby is only gonna get worse... When Fanatics came in and bought all the rights to all the three major sports, while pushing "all" the competition out, sh!t will only get worse. They can price gouge us on any and all products, because we will no longer have other options. They gonna screw us! Which they're already starting with this product lol its a damn shame to pay $200+ for one auto. An auto of a player you've more than likely never heard of. We collectors should have spoken up. We should have spoken out against that purchase... may not have changed sh!t, but it would have at least let em know the collectors are not happy, and may have forced em into treating us right. Which they will not do since the purchase went so easily. I dont see anything getting better, but i can see it getting much worse. Competition is what keeps a business true. No competition is what creates greed, and we'll be the ones that feel the burden. I've been against this move since day 1... while many say it'll help the hobby. I just dont see how. This box was a preview of whats to come... it is what it is, i guess.
