Thanks to you and anyone that assisted in making the RUclips get together possible. Jamie, i, and the boys had a great time and it was absolutely fantastic. The Show itself has a life its own, the buyers and collectors making their way through the aisles as the life blood of the hobby, just as the sellers and exhibitors keep that circulation strong and flowing. i've found that having a specific goal, working toward completing the 69 set within financial reason, has helped me navigate the chaos without being overwhelmed by the sheer size of it all. Thanks for stopping that first day we were there to say hello to us. Good luck in the future and Happy Collecting!
Hearing Chris come back to the house and tell the barn door story was one of my favorite moments from the week. Glad I got to see it on video. That Campy is beautiful
Awesome video Mike!!! First off that 2020 pack is fire 🔥 just saying lol 🤣. That Campy is awesome and not a bad price easy. That was a super quick deal. That Staubach is a beauty!!!
Johnny Bench was great, I had him sign my childhood rookie card, though i had to wait 30 minutes after you. Thanks to you and everyone else who put together the meet up. It was so fun.
Last night was fun thanks so much for organizing.. Right there with you being out of budget - but so happy to have the cards I picked up. That Campy is unreal. Congrats.
Watching Bench tell Chris from Missouri that "Your barn door is open" was the best thing I've seen from all the National vids so far. I didn't clearly hear Chris's explanation after he said "I did that on purpose just for you".... ??? Bench looked confused, at best, with the explanation.
Thanks for helping put together the hangout. Had a great time meeting several people there. So many people in the show , you don’t even have a chance to see everyone. That Campy auto is cool, congrats on that find. Awesome 84 Donruss cards too.
BINGO Mikey! Great score on the CAMPY! That starts up the day. From one catcher Yogi, to another..Johnny Bench!!! Same hat too. Fantastic memory Chris, Congratulations! And Dan too.
I'm sure glad I'm an avid watcher otherwise I wouldn't have known about the koufax Perez Steeles that I missed . THANK YOU for helping me get one..your commission check is in the mail 😆
Johnny Bench is all out just a great guy, got his auto over here at OC Sports Cards in Anaheim, got out of his seat and took a picture with me, great footage of him Mike 👍🏽
That Campanella was great!! Read his book and watched a TV show he did in the 60s. Great personality who rose above his disability and set a good example for all of us.
Mike, I’m the Sam who met you at Craig’s booth later in the day. Thank you for taking a moment to greet me, it meant a lot. I must admit, I have felt horrible since walking away for not walking over and shaking Craig’s hand! So Craig, if you’re reading this, please accept my virtual handshake! 🤝 Also, great pickup on the Campanella! Safe travels home.
You have had some awesome pickups I am flying tomorrow to go on Sunday so I hope I can find some 69 deckle edge 63 fleer baseball 61 fleer football and 1955 all american

This collection was worth 25.000. I call it good karma. It comes back to the right person. Thanks . That's my story. Sporting card dictionary.
My 2024 memory of the National will be Chris from Missouri meeting Johnny Bench with his zipper down
@@TideWalker45 I don’t think he is going to live that one down for a while

When you fill in some holes in your sets....those Donruss gifts hit the spot.
They totally do James
That Campy auto is sick absolutly love it
Thanks Jason. I do too.
1984 donruss has got to be the best looking set of the 1980s in my opinion.
Thanks Jason. They are pretty awesome.

Who is the dealer you bought the campy from? He had great stuff
His name was Josh, but that is all I know.
Love the Roger auto! Go Navy
The horse was out of the barn! @4m 30s
Pretty hilarious for sure.
Ticket to the National: $15 dollars
Ticket to meet Johnny Bench:$100 dollars
Having Bench tell you your fly is down: priceless 😂😂😂
So true Jeremy. I wonder in Chris did it on purpose? LOL
Was Zack Hample there?
Just curious but did your buddy Ty from chasing cardboard make it to the National?
That Campanella is awesome!
Nope. He is at his brothers wedding
2020 Topps is 🔥
You’re a great negotiator, “$1,000 probably won’t get it done, will you take $1,100?” He would have taken it at $1,000
I was happy to pay $1,100.
@@BaseballCollector I’m sure you were, like the simp you are
Cheers
Cheers to you too.
Is there anything about cleveland that doesnt suck, or ohio in general
It wasn't that bad. The weather was nice.
I'm actually glad I didn't make the drive from Detroit. I hate waiting in lines and huge crowds. Seems like more of a hassle than anything.
I walked in at 9:35 today, 5 minutes after early entry, and there was no line. It was crazy inside though.
Nice campy!
Thanks Bill. I was stoked to get that one.
thankfully it wasn't raining
That would have added even more misery for sure.
😂i know 2020 topps 🔥
I'm thinking about making a sequel....NAH
Move the National out of Cleveland to Columbus or Cincinnati. The National deserves a venue with enough restrooms and shorter lines
It does indeed.
Campy auto!!!!!!
I was stoked to see it and get it for the collection.
I like the bank zipper envelope!!!!
Thanks. It is quite handy.
