Now I can’t say that this is what happened with Johnson and Sharp, but they seem like the types… Mr R, a rich sort, wants to donate a large sum of money to Mr B, a bone idle rich guy, for a bit of quid-pro-quo but Mr B doesn’t want to pay tax on the money (which as a donation he would have to). Mr R is ok with that because he would like some tax back himself. So, Mr R arranges a loan, not for himself but for Mr B, and acts as guarantor in respect of the loan. Mr B receives the money but, because it is a loan and he hasn’t insured it, he pays no tax. Mr R then receives his quid pro quo. After the appropriate loan duration Mr B defaults on the loan, which becomes repayable by the guarantor, Mr R. Mr R pays the loan back but, because it is a loss he adds it to his annual tax returns to offset a portion of his taxes. But people believed the smear campaign and fell for the charm of the sociopath. And the real tragedy is the Labour Party got properly fucked in the process. So now when there is a change in government there won’t be much of a change in policy. It’s a disaster.
Yeah but in hindsight the other one wouldn’t have done as much damage to the country overall and we would have a fairer society. The top 1% elite wouldn’t have prospered at the expense of everyone else. The public services would be better funded and resourced to provide the services they are supposed to deliver. We would not have had all the lying, corruption and self seeking interest of Tory administration who have misused public finances to line the pockets of rich Tory donors.

You'd have thought Labour would have done that during their three terms - y'know - "Education, education, education".... instead they reneged on introducing PR and kept on privatising taxpayers assets like the DHSS, NHS dentistry and the Land Registry. As a British citizen of 85 years, I hope what remains of the British Electorate realizes the chance they have to vote in the next General Election. To vote to remove the people we have been voting into government since the last World War, 1939-1945. Our British Citizens need to reform the politicians they vote into power to govern them honestly and honorably. I am the first child of our greatest generation. Where my father was British. Army major, and my mother, a nursing sister. I was eight years at the end of that terrible war. I hope the modern British voters will turn out to vote. Because Britain needs political honor and trustworthiness to govern Britain as it once was. As did some of the brave sailors with whom I later sailed. John Eric Hoare. British Australian and Norwegian deep seaman, When Britain had a Merchant Navy. Now Retired.
Boris didn’t brake Britain Maggie did when she sold off all national interests. Coal, gas, steel, nuclear, water, railways, telecommunications etc etc.
The tragedy is that people think of men like Boris Johnson or Donald Trump as anomalies, rather than just slightly more egregious, slightly more blatant versions of the average conservative. Every moderate Tory wants to be so rich and posh that they can just be racist on TV and get applauded for it.
I am sure many would love to see a video about another look at Jeremy Corbyn from a skilled vlogger and analyst like yourself. It may confirm to the slightly under educated that Corbyn's manifesto and supporting calculations were exactly what the UK needed and probably wanted, but that the assasination of Corbyn by the, now proven, dishonest Tory supporting press was so severe that the hard of thinking were unable to identify the truth.

Yes but after a point you can’t blame your parents for your actions.Yes they form your character but if you’re his age and haven’t had any incentive to change for the better then that’s all up to you

That conversation with Darius Guppy was off the scale.
And the worst thing is........there are many many many more just like Johnson who have infested politics in this country
Yeah!
The Tories are dead in the water!
I'm not a Labour person and after their piss poor performance the last time they were in power, which sent them into the wilderness until now, I never thought they'd have a ghost of a chance ever again.
But the sheer incompetence, gerrymandering and political maneuvering displayed by this government has totally eclipsed anything the last labour government
got up to.
The latest 'wheeze' by the home secretary saying that they were going to deport 3000 immigrants
a month, is just another example of the 'say anything to appease the 'stupid' electorate' tactics employed by the Tories.
It would be like lifting the floorboards on a derelict house, exposing hundreds of mice, and then trying to catch them on your hands and knees. Hahaha!
Then, if you did manage to catch them, where are you going to deport them to?
Utter crap, as usual!
They have managed to trash everything that this country stood for, or what was left of it after the labour government had a go!
NHS, the economy, illegal immigration, fuel crisis, housing, pot holes, train strikes, covid lockdown, the list is endless.
I think I'll stand for parliament, and I'm a moron! 🤪😳
Well done and thanks for putting this together. We need to share this far and wide and remind people who he is, What he did, And what PARTY supported him all the way in every decision.

@@justsomegeezer69 Do you know the trick with the seemingly innocuous loan arrangement?
Now I can’t say that this is what happened with Johnson and Sharp, but they seem like the types…
Mr R, a rich sort, wants to donate a large sum of money to Mr B, a bone idle rich guy, for a bit of quid-pro-quo but Mr B doesn’t want to pay tax on the money (which as a donation he would have to).
Both are satisfied with their deal, and HMRC are stuffed by the real elites once more. Rich peoples finances are wonderful.
I may have simplified things a bit and any similarity to persons dead or alive are purely coincidental, but it does make one think. 🤔

"without the emotion to undergird it." I must confess that chain of words aroused us!
Similar to Rowan Atkinson on Black Adder.
British humour is known for being particularly dry. Plays into our (not entirely inaccurate) national stereotype of being snarky miserable bastards.
It was a perfect storm that got him into number ten and weve paid the price ever since

Is that what's going on with the audio quality in the ad read? I thought it sounded like you had an AI synth your voice.
@klimpomp afraid so, the original recording was much worse, so I re-recorded but still have some issues... Funnily enough the ad read didn't have that problem until I rendered the video, so I'll need to look into that!

Outstanding brother. God I love you Brits. Such a way with the language.
Thank you, man!
And yet Brits voted him in knowing all of this and simply excusing it!
Like there was much choice of the two to vote for
@@JamesDeemons There was a choice between a fairly well costed and thought out economic program which would have gone a long way to bring in some grass roots economic development and growth in more than just the financial sector, and empty slogans and lies about Brexit.
It was a choice between a flawed but honest and compassionate man who genuinely cared about people, and a flawed serial liar who uses public office as a tool for personal gain, and no interest in people beyond what he can get out of them.
It's a 2 party state. Corbyn should of accepted the result of the Referendum. He was very anti EU all his political life just like his hero Tony Benn. He became leader suddenly flipped flopped and crashed in the Old Labour Leave seats.
No we didn't the tory party got into office in 2019 with 40% of the popular vote. The UKs electoral system is totally undemocratic and not fit for purpose. The tory party got only Westminster 2 seats in Scotland in 2019.

Leaders like Depiffle and the Brexit disaster is why political history and critical thinking must be taught in state achools.
Absolutely, exactly what's needed
The capitalists don't want that, do you really believe bourgeois governments will allow Karl Marx Das Kapital a critique of political economy, In (1867), Marx proposes that the motivating force of capitalism is in the exploitation of labor, whose unpaid work is the ultimate source of surplus value
You'd have thought Labour would have done that during their three terms - y'know - "Education, education, education".... instead they reneged on introducing PR and kept on privatising taxpayers assets like the DHSS, NHS dentistry and the Land Registry.
This time around, they're supporting the tax dodgers Brexit that Putin paid the Tories for.
They're both in it together...? You bet they fucking are.
Critical thinking taught in state "schools"? That's now how the world works and you know it.
@@peterkilbridge6523 Exactly, we need to be campagning for increasing teachers salaries and schools funding.
And yet there are people who think he's man of the people, bit of a laff and better than the other guy (whoever that happens to be at the time). More worrying that those people are allowed to vote.

It's f*cked.
Doesn’t say anything too bad, as I don’t think you can find a country that hasn’t had a horrible politician or two. I don’t know Johnson’s politics at all, but superficially, seems a lot like Trump…an unqualified rich idiot with scandals that would end anyone else’s career. But if they can connect to a good chunk of the population, they can get in office and are hard to get rid of.
If only this could be on terrestrial channels regularly. This country would improve immensely if content like this was seen by those eligible to vote.

I never thought Boris Johnson was a good/great Mayor of London, as a life-long Londoner.
I heard that Johnson had a very good team around him to help with his efficiency, image and messaging. Additionally, a lot of his “successes” were legacies of Ken Livingston’s ideas and investments in London to improve the city (by city here, I refer to London as a whole).
Yes indeed 👍

The tragedy is that people think of men like Boris Johnson or Donald Trump as anomalies, rather than just slightly more egregious, slightly more blatant versions of the average conservative.
