The Summit Cross : 01:31:48 is my absolut favourite song. It's such an epic sound while also giving the feeling of coming home after a long journey

Evi Kerzel Nein, leider nicht. Besonders mit der Krankheit „Suchtitis“ kann das gefährlich enden.... Symptome sind: Augenringe, Müdigkeit, erhöhtes Verlangen nach Koffeinhaltigen Getränke und hohe Stromkosten.

This has to be one of the best game soundtracks out there. Insane the amount and range of emotion these arrangements can pull.
I remember watching my first let's play of this game and thinking "wow that guy has some incredible music on in the background I need to find out what it is".

Das letzte Anno das ich gespielt habe war Anno 1602, damals, Anno 1998.
Vielleicht lags daran, dass ich da noch nicht mal 10 war, aber das Spiel mochte ich nicht so. Titel wie Age of Empires oder die Siedler lagen mir eher.
Anno 1800 hab ich mir ab release geholt. Es war kein Titel, den ich mir ersehnt habe oder drauf gewartet habe. Ich wusste es ist am kommen, es gibt ne Beta, beides hat mich nicht sonderlich interessiert.
Mein Schwager hat mir dann 2 Tage vor dem Release erzählt wie toll das Spiel doch sei und es sich endlich wieder wie Anno anfühlt. Für mich kamen da natürlich gleich die schlechten Erinnerungen an Anno 1602 zurück (Ich sage nicht, dass Anno 1602 ein schlechtes Spiel war. Für mich wars damals einfach "zu hoch"), welches für mich von negativen Bilanzen und Misswirtschaft geprägt war und ich wusste da einfach nicht, wie ich wieder in die positive Bilanz komme.
Einen Tag nach Release habe ich meinen Schwager doch nochmal gefragt, wie sich Anno 1800 denn so spielt und was toll dran ist. Die Zeit in der Anno 1800 spielt spricht mich auch extrem an. Die Neugierde war zu gross. Ich habs dann gekauft, einen Tag nach release, wohlwissend, dass ich es möglicherweise noch bereue.
Und dann starte ich dieses Spiel... Erstmal der Soundtrack. Da dachte ich mir schon, wow. Da kommt richtig Atmosphäre auf. Man wollte erstmal gar nichts klicken und einfach die Musik laufen lassen. Dann tauche ich in die Kampagne ein. Es passt einfach alles! Es gibt kleinere einfache Ziele, grössere Zeitaufwändigere ziele, die Musik ist stimmig und wunderschön, der Fortschritt ist langsam genug, um sich nicht wie reines gespamme anzufühlen und schnell genug, damits nicht frustrierend wird. Die Atmosphäre ist immer toll und authentisch.
Anno 1800 ist ein Spiel, dass mich seit langem wiedermal so in seinen Bann ziehen konnte, wie ich das aus meiner Kindheit und Jugendzeit kannte. Und das sag ich, der normalerweise Shooter oder Adventures spielt.
Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Anno 1800 ist ein Meisterwerk! Blue Byte: Da habt ihr euch selbst wiedermal übertroffen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Arbeit, die Ihr da geleistet habt!

Mir ging es sehr ähnlich. Ich habe mich als ich klein war an Anno 1602 versucht, aber es dann einststauben lassen...
Jetzt bin ich durch Gronkh auf Anno wieder aufmerksam geworden und richtig gefesselt. Ich habe das neue noch nicht gekauft oder gespielt (leider), bin aber kurz davor es zu tun ^-^
Ich bin eher jemand, der an der Konsole spielt...Naja, für Anno durchbreche ich meine Gewohnheit gerne =)
Der Soundtrack ist der Wahnsinn. Ich spiele Oboe und liebe sowohl Filmmusik, als auch Musik aus Games. Ich finde es unglaublich, wie Musik ein Spiel oder einen Film beeinflussen kann. Und bei Anno ist das definitiv richtig gut gelungen!

Das entspricht zwar nicht meiner Kindheit, sondern eher meiner "späten" Jugend, ist aber ansonsten praktisch identisch. Anno 1602 hat mich nur vom Intro her interessiert, dass damals seiner Zeit meiner Meinung nach weit voraus war. Aber auch ich konnte mit dem Spiel nie wirklich warm werden, daher haben mich die weiteren Teile auch abgeschreckt.
Age of Empires 2 war auch lange Zeit eher mein Favorit, das habe ich auch in allen Versionen - auch in den Remakes HD und Ultimate gesuchtet.
Anno 1800 ist das erste Anno, das mich praktisch aus den gleichen Gründen gefesselt hat, der Soundtrack, die Kampagne... nicht zuletzt auch wegen der extrem tollen Grafik und den vielen kleien Details. Und ich weiß nicht, wie oft ich schon im Spiel zu einer Pause herausgefordert wurde und das waren nicht nur die "Zeit für einen Kaffee" und "Beine vertreten"-Sätze.... xD.
Mittlerweile habe ich nicht nur das Spiel, sondern auch beide Season Pass gekauft und freue mich auf den letzten DLC Land der Löwen, der in 12 Tagen erscheint, der das Spiel noch einmal um einiges erweitert. Anno 1800 wird mich also auch noch viele weitere Monate fesseln.
Dann Spiel mal 1404, am besten noch mit Venedig.. das.. das war ebenfalls ein wahres Meisterwerk der Anno-Serie

Als ANNO-Veteran der ersten Stunde, bin ich von ANNO 1800 so verdammt geflasht! Ich habe das Spiel gestartet und es kam The Crown and the Lion : @, ich habe solche Gänsehaut gehabt und hab mich erstmal nicht getraut ein Spiel zu starten!

Damals in der grundschule anno 1404, 1503 und 1602 gespielt, am meisten Anno 1503, immer wieder bis ich jedes mal wieder pleite gegangen bin. Zum release von Anno 2205 wieder zu Anno gefunden und gerade die free week von Anno 1800 ausprobiert und ich liebe es
Anno 1503 ist meiner Meinung nach das schwerste aller Annos. Du hast ja nicht einmal feste steuern zum Geld verdienen

Back then the theme was uplifting and full of hope and excitement to discover new horizons, but now it's melanholic but still, there's hope, hope that we may still take steps for the better

Ich liebe das Spiel zu Spielen einfach einzutauchen in die Zeit. Diese Details und dazu die Geniale Musik. Ich habe mir extra wegen diesem Spiel AKG 701 Kopfhörer geholt dazu ein Audio Interface und ich muss sagen, mit den Kopfhörern Klingen diese Meisterwerke nochmals um Welten geiler!

Auch in die Nachfolger bis einschließlich Anno 1404 habe ich unzählige Stunden investiert.
Aber mit Anno 1800 haben ehemals Sunflowers und MaxDesign ihr Meisterwerk abgeliefert !

Diese Detailverliebtheit der Grafik, der Steuerung, der Komfortfunktionen und auch der Musik ist einfach überragend !
Selbst die Musik ist überaus gelungen, auch wenn sie nicht an den besten Soundtrack der Spielegeschichte von Anno 1602 heranreicht.

honestly this is one of the most addicting soudntracks i have listened too all year..and just goes to show just how great the anno series can be with it's music. not to say that the game isn't great ether as my only negative is that it's uplay only.
