- In-depth lesson for how to take Jimi Hendrix's rhythm style and transfer it over to almost any song. All you need to know is 4 chord shapes and a couple of licks! I demonstrate the technique here with 3 random songs. Adele's "Someone Like You", Alicia Keys "If I Ain't Got You", and Hoobstank's "The Reason".
This style of playing is extremely versatile. You can go from playing lots of notes to fill up space when playing by yourself, or you can use these ideas to play small tasty fills and find your own sonic space in the context of a band. Hope you enjoy!
Glad to have found you
love your content .. so clean, precise.. well explained ..
Thanks Gabriele! I'm glad you are enjoying it.
Steve, another great video. These are a great series of videos where you unpack the styles of guitar legends. It must require a lot of track listening and analysis. And nicely delivered!
Thanks David! It is a bit of work, but I really enjoy it and want to get better. I appreciate the kind words!
Hey Steve, great videos man! Do you do 1on1 lessons online?
Hey Davit, I can absolutely do private lessons. Send me an email with some details and we can line it up!
