Russians are actually incredibly funny people, they really do not give a shit about politics etc, just go on about life and have laughs doing it! I have met and worked with quite a few Russian military guys, totally hilarious even though we didn't speak the same language, just kids stuck doing a job and hoping to get home!
touching movie also one of the best movie i ever saw. the North pole scenes actually got from K-3 Leninsky matter as i heard. its K-3 which actually reached the pole at 1962 and celebrated their stay.
