- This is a 50 minutes emotional and relaxing music mix from the Stronghold series which includes the following games:

Stronghold Legends and Kingdoms are not included due to the fact there were no fitting tunes or that many tunes especially from 1 and 2 are frequently reused throughout the series.
The music is composed by Rober L. Leuvino. All the tracks and images belong to Firefly Studios the creators of the Strongholds Series.

the first stronghold title was the first game ever for me as a kid (beside minesweeper) when it was brandnew.
seen it at my uncles and was really blown away by the little details and graphics. and as my uncle noticed that, he GAVE ME HIS CD OF THE GAME!
can feel it today as if it was yesterday. what memories...
I know exactly how you feel man, I was completely blown away by stronghold as well when i first played it. The details, the animations, the economy system - as a kid it seemed so advanced (and it was for the time).

That was my first game as well. My neighbour gave it to me on cd after I played it with him, I was 6, such a beautiful memory

Am I the only one to think this is actually the best music for concentration/study/work? I mean after all, this music is MEANT to help you concentrate on the game tasks! And generally a lot of other games' ambients are like that.
I only played the Crusader, and had great nostalgia while those songs, but otherwise all of them were really helpful to stay productive
easily their best game. easily their best soundtrack.

Stronghold 2 is for me the best one, it was more sim and castle management than the first with the banquets, dances etc.
I still, remember how I discovered the game, I was a kid around 10 years old looking for a medieval game, so I google something like "Middle age war game" and stumbled on a picture of a siege battle of Stronghold 2. I was amazed by the siege towers, battering ram, ladders and the scenery.
Downloaded the demo, and played it on repeat for 1 year until I had the money to buy the real game.
Unfortunately, the latest releases of Stronghold are getting shittier.
Are they? Man I wanted to try out stronghold 3, thanks for the heads up
