Good vid, you didn’t seem very impressed with your purchase, looks like a true ul trout trod. Also update on new Bates Hundo. I would have to say with my knowledge and preference of baitcasters that the Hundo is the lightest, smoothest and solid reel I own, closest comparison I got is the Zillion I also recently purchased, I finally can enjoy my Super Combat Stick without my hand hurting at the end of a day chucking chatters and heavy cover swims because of the small profile fits my little hands perfect, Bates seems to me to be a very quality to me, from packaging presentation to performance and looks, I wouldn’t be scared to buy another out of the bates lineup
Matt I like the rod kinda! It need like one or two more guides and the reel seat nut needs to be able to screw down a little more(I don’t like that much gap(that’s what he said) but all in all it seems well made. I’m waiting on Bates to restock its reels after I got the Loongze(they helped make it) I’m very impressed by it and I want to try their BFS, swimbait, and a round reel/standard from them. I’ll do a post when I get them

I agree with you not happy for getting a $85 rod🤷 but then again he buys so much tuff he probably forgot that he got this 😂
