I received my first Aurora Air the other day. The line lay is good, but there was a (extra) small spring stuck to one of the magnets! Couldn't believe what was causing the metallic sound when I made the first cranks on the handle... Opened up and found the spring on the magnet rubbing slightly on the inside of the spool 🙂

Perfect timing for creek rods.. looks like I’m stuck with walking banks for the rest of summer,,, someone backed their Tri-toon into my boat in the boat launch parking lot, backed into my motor and caused bunch of damage, currently in insurance purgatory while I find out if they fix my motor or replace it. But it could be worse, this whole thing only gonna cost me 250$ but the time is what I’m bummed about… All good tho, I just buy me a few creek rods , do you have any experience with the mega bass great hunting rods, pricey for the creeks but they look pretty tempting

I just got a massive job promotion and I’m gonna treat myself to the best mid strolling combo in the world. The Daiwa steez real control rod paired with a Daiwa exist 2500 size. I love strolling in general I’m gonna have to say the flash J’s are probably my favorite. You need to get your hands on the osp picro it’s hands down my top 5 baits I’ve ever fished. It’s a secret I’ve been holding on too since they came out. 😂😂

Mine just showed up today, I bought 3 during the birthday sale on May 15th. I talked pretty extensively with a guy who had like 15 of their rods about them and which models to get before buying. He warned me that it would likely take a few months for my rods to get here so I knew what to expect. I emailed them 3 times for updates, each time I got an email back within an hour. Haven’t fished them yet. The sale got shared on Reddit and from what I heard they got stretched way too thin with how many people ordered.

Do you know what size is it? 200 or 300?

Good vid, you didn’t seem very impressed with your purchase, looks like a true ul trout trod. Also update on new Bates Hundo. I would have to say with my knowledge and preference of baitcasters that the Hundo is the lightest, smoothest and solid reel I own, closest comparison I got is the Zillion I also recently purchased, I finally can enjoy my Super Combat Stick without my hand hurting at the end of a day chucking chatters and heavy cover swims because of the small profile fits my little hands perfect, Bates seems to me to be a very quality to me, from packaging presentation to performance and looks, I wouldn’t be scared to buy another out of the bates lineup

I love the decoy tx-dan sinker and the ryugi infini hook for my free rig setup. Dolive beaver has caught me the most fish by far in the last 4 years of fishing it. Fellow robeson county fisher man .. I just got a few of those Blux 70s from alliexpress. They swim fairly well if retrieved slow, get too fast amd they rise to the surface as you mentioned. I've already caught several different species of fish on them. (Panfish, yellow perch, jack pickerels) and they hold up well and all mine have single hooks which to me work way better than trebels because it's easier to unhook and easier and easier on us and the fish.

Good vid, have you ever messed with Bates reels, recently there was a raffle at a little outdoors show near me and they were giving out a Bates Hundo, long story short my buddy who don’t fish won it and I traded him a an old 30-06 for it cuz the reel is a lefty, haven’t looked up much except their price and haven’t even opened it yet, Just curious if you ever mess with them before, I did see when searching they have a very slick looking round reel I believe was a BFS setup

Between the P5 destroyers some older steez racing designs and my steez real controls you can’t find better rods they’re truly amazing. Keep up the great work I really enjoy your videos.

What’s everyone’s preferred rod for the ozark? My 7’3 MH seemed to stiff to throw it

Edge rods are nothing special in my opinion and the customer service as well as dealing with the company has turned me off completely.I ended up buying from Japan and got my stuff in 4-5 days every time. Much smoother experience and the quality is second to none.

😂 I’ve spent like 8 grand at the hook up in the last 9-12 months. It’s getting bad every Sunday I’m telling myself nothing this week and then I end up caving in. I just found your channel a couple months ago and I’m really liking it. Keep up the great work
